Leyland Adventures Chapter Two: Part Two

Tysashi wandered in the woods with sunlight traversing the area. The variety of unique creatures and plants satisfied him while walking further. The vibrant atmosphere of the area was childhood itself. The flawless medley of birds and the beautiful trees drove him to stay longer.

Aradressa followed his footsteps to Kiyoshi Woods, a place where many harmless creatures call home. The sturdy and compact trees and stunning plants made this vast forest what it is now, a center of beauty and heinous chaos. Though the woods is mainly peacefully during the day, savage and dangerous creatures prefer to strike at night. Preparing herself to slay any danger that stands in her way, she entered the woods. Promising to not leave the forest until she found Tysashi.

He noticed strange seafoam-green mushrooms on the healthy trees emitting an alluring glow. Curiously, he drew his face towards the glow; some sort of energy was felt from the organisms. He swiped twelve mushrooms from the tree and placed them in his pockets.

"These things look edible, but I shouldn't eat it, at least not before I know it's safe. I wonder what else this environment has left to offer."

He traveled further only to halt once the sounds of aggression were picked up. The heavy clashing between two unknown organisms was impossible to ignore. He approached with proper caution as there was no telling what could occur.

"I wonder what kind of creatures are fighting and why. Maybe over a mate or to assert dominance. Either way, I have to witness it and be as silent as possible while doing so."

Walking along with the decaying matter below him, Tysashi heard growling in the path up ahead. He stopped dead in his tracks, searching for an identifiable organism. The growling grew more audible, swallowing him in slight suspicion.

"Reveal yourself!"

Finally, a brown bear with spiky skin and lengthy, pale claws showed itself. Its crimson eyes, bone-crunching teeth, and defensive mechanisms made it one of the most vicious creatures to be found. Soon after seeing Tysashi, the fearsome beast opened wide to let out a massive roar.

Preferring not to harm the creature, he attempted to convey he wasn't looking for any violence with the animal. The Leylandian Bear snarled as it inched closer, slamming its his paws down. He stood his ground with slouching eyebrows and tightened lips. Taking this as a fighting stance, the bear drew its claw to deeply slash Tysashi's chest. He winced just as his opponent came for another strike. Raising his hand, he blocked the attack before launching the beast back into a nearby tree.

Before he could unleash another attack, his body was suddenly lacking energy as a burning pain rushed through him. Tysashi stood down with his knees as the ravaging poison stripped more energy from him. His vision was hazy and blurred while it tormented him to simply breathe. With a million thoughts racing, the bear finally removed its spikes from the tree and zoomed towards him. Ignoring the pain, he stood up to defend himself. With their bodies just inches away, a head of pink hair flashed into their sight.

The Leylandian Bear only took once glance into her violent eyes and realized she was superior, thus fleeing the fight. With her victory successful, she turned to Tysashi, calming herself before healing him though the shreds of his shirt remained. The burning pains and blurred vision were now a thing in the past as the two embraced in a circle of dulcet warmth and comfort. He saw the bags she held, afterwards apologizing for leaving and forcing her to find him. Not to mention the infinite weight of the guilt he felt since Aradressa had to buy his items and from cracking the necklace.

She easily accepted his apology; reminding him of the lethal dangers Leyland possesses. He nodded, stating it wouldn't happen again. With the powerful duo back together, she led him out of the woods and returned to the castle.

"So some men think they can harass you and get away with it? Such confidence, too bad their hands will be cut off as a result," Marissa stated sweetly after Aradressa relayed their cosmetic details.

Marissa called for few guards to hunt for the two boys and carry out the punishment with no mercy. They all nodded, just feeling the blood on their lethal weapons excited them.

"Good, now go!"

They marched out of the castle, armed and set.

"So what's this about Tysashi again?"

"H- he was abashed in public by these uncivil boys so he ran off to Kiyoshi Woods to calm himself. I followed after and the next thing I know, he's fighting a Leylandian Bear which I availed take of."

"I'll deal with them later, for now, dinner won't take long to prepare so tell him to get ready."

"Yes, mother."

As the twinkling stars in the night sky settled, the dinner was prepared for every resident to enjoy. Faint echoes of silverware clinking covered the room. Tonight was a silent dinner as nothing to important needed to be discussed at the moment. Eventually, the area was cleared. The guards returned to their rooms as the entire building stayed silent.

With Tysashi's supplies stored in a spare drawer, his unconscious body cuddled with the bed as Aradressa viewed him resting.

"Good night, my valued hero." Just seeing him rest made her content.

She received her diary, securing her pen with a light grasp ready to write another entry.

Diary Entry #2

"Today we went to the Kula Outlet, so Tysashi could purchase some supplies. I suppose he was tremendously focused on gathering supplies as I didn't get to learn much today. In the T&W store, the trio of teens he told me about yesterday began to harass him and so did many others. I was waiting outside when I saw him just speed off, dropping his items and even the necklace I provided him. Even when he ran, those sadistic monsters persisted on carrying on with their atrocious actions. The dark dragon sleeping inside of me was unleashed as I struck fear into the boys. I acquired his items and obtained his necklace, then pursued him into Kiyoshi Woods. Once I finally located him, he was fighting a Leylandian Bear. I assisted in dealing with the creature and we returned home. I explained the abilities the bear possesses and Lumi Mushrooms, which are currently collected in a basket kept by the window in the hopes it will evolve into a Luminous Mushroom. Even if today didn't go as planned, I discovered that Tysashi is always ready to comprehend something new."

Aradressa sighed while closing the diary, her sleepwear was already equipped on her enchanting body so now she could join Tysashi and sleep peacefully.
