Chapter 2 Levy Meets Gajeel

The sun's rays reflect a pink and yellow hue across the trees in front of Gajeel. It reminds him of a scene in his favorite book, a midsummer night's dream by William Shakespeare.  Gajeel shakes his head when he realizes how hopeless he sounds.  It is not like he has a girlfriend because no girl ever takes an interest in him.

Juvia begins to think Levy does not sound like herself. She decides to let Lucy know she worries about their friend.

    Juvia's text to Lucy

Hey, Lucy, Levy seems a bit down.

Oh, what makes you say this?

  Juvia's text to Lucy

Levy claims she has given up on men.

Lucy's text to Juvia

It is probably just a phrase she goes through.

Levy leaves her home and goes on a stroll.  She intends to enjoy nature along the trail. She might as well since it is a nice day out today.

*Author's  note: www.dictionary.com defines stroll as a leisurely walk

Levy arrives in the same place where Gajeel walks. She does not watch where she takes her steps. She bumps into someone.

"Whoa, who are you?"  Levy asks.

"I am Gajeel  Redfox, and you should watch where you walk.  I mean to be more careful, will you, Miss?"  He says.

"It is ok, you were right the first time,"  Levy says.

"I should pay attention to where I walk,"  Levy remarks.

"My name is Levy MacGarden, " Levy tells him.

"Well, it is nice to meet you Levy MacGarden,"  Gajeel says.

"What brings you out here to this area of the woods?"  Gajeel asks.

"Nothing much just on a walk,"  Levy answers.

  "What about you?"  Levy asks.

"Well, it is none of your business, since we just met, Levy," Gajeel says in a gruff tone.

"Well, then since I am obviously such a bother to you, then I will just leave," Levy says.

"Fine, good riddance then,  see if I care!" Gajeel scoffs.

Levy runs away fast so that Gajeel will not see her tears. She kept running until she fell over a boulder.
