Ninjagan Education System HCs
PUBLISHED: AUTUMN: NOVEMBER 09/11/21
In every school in Ninjago, the education system is very similar, but with few differences. The system itself is tough, but opens up a lot of oppourtunities for students.
A typical school day starts at 8:30, ending at 3-3:45pm, depending on the area. Morning extra-curriculars start at 6:45, ending at 8:15, and after-school extra curriculars start at 4:00, ending at 6-7:00
For preschoolers, the day starts at 9:00, ending at 12:00
Education is free and mandatory, but parents can opt for private schools which do cost more.
The grading system goes as such:
A - 90-100%
B - 80-89%
C - 61-79%
D - 41-60%
F - 0-40%
Mathmatics and English Langauge are both compulsory subjects, as are Ninjagan Language and Japanese Language.

Once they reach their final year of highschool (17-18 years), students undergo a series of exams for their selected subjects, after years of prepping and learning the content. The grades they recieve will determine their position for higher education.
These exams are strict and difficult, printed in standard Ninjagan, with English subtext. They range from multiple choice questions, to essay answers, or just coursework, rather than an exam.
The exam weeks last for 2-3 weeks, and the results come during the summer holidays.
As for higher education, there are many other choices other than university:
- University
- Gap year
- Apprentiship
- Repeating the year (only if necessary)
As for uniform, it depends on the area once again.
Ignacia's uniform follows Vietnamese culture: the traditional white ao dai is worn.
In Jamanakai Village, it's uniform is influenced by Chinese culture: tracksuit uniforms in their school colours.
Schools are very uncommon in Metalonia due to the majority of the land being used for mining etc..
In Ninjago City, uniforms are standard short-sleeved button shirts, ties in the school colours, skirt or trousers, plus blazer.
In Stiix and Ouroborus, students are allowed to wear any clothing of their choosing.
