Since their parents weren't around for long in their life, Kai would take action when they were younger and make up stories for his sister...but they weren't princess stories with a happy ever after. These involved gore, death, blood, and more gore, and it ended with everyone being stirred in a pot and thrown in a fire...yeah Kai never managed to get the hang of it...

The reason Kai disapproved of Jay was because he was jealous that his sister got in a relationship before him.
