Josh walked through the outskirts of the Trench woods. He could feel the eerily familiar sounds of the wind and mist that surrounded his curious frame. It was as if he had never walked through it before.
As Josh walked in the woods, many thoughts were flowing through his head, from the first encounter that he had with Dema and his forces, to the tragedy that nearly took his flower's life.
He could see Tyler lying in the tomb, being watched over by Ari and Olene, while they pray that he would soon awaken from the curse.
He could see Petruso and Dasha playing with little Lilya and Maks in the sunflower fields, which they had planted to commemorate the memory of their sweet flower lord.
Then, he saw his best friends, Jenna, Kai and Linh, all standing together; united and one with the Banditos.
Then, right as he entered the center of the mist, a memory appeared.
A memory that made tears flow down his cheeks.
(Flashback)
Back in the garden, where Tyler and Josh first met, they sat together under the Magnolia tree and watched the sun go down.
They shared a passionate kiss, and attached their hands together. Their love was eternal and beautiful, and it would never be broken.
Later at night, when Josh awoke from his dreamful sleep, he heard the beautifully played sounds of the piano.
When he rubbed his eyes and sat up, he looked over towards the edge of the lake, and saw his beloved Tyler, sitting and playing his keyboard.
(Play song)
As Josh started walking towards the child, he stopped at his feet. He began to listen to his flower, who had began singing the song he was playing.
I don't know
Where I'm supposed to go
So I might just
Take my pride and go
Some people, they know, know everything
But I know that they don't know my heart
Cause I, oh yeah I
Believe in love
And I hope I can show you what I mean
And I don't believe love's for me
So won't you come around and prove me wrong
Josh had never heard anything more wonderful than Tyler's pure and charming voice, that could captivate the hearts of any man or woman.
The child continued to play and sing, as Josh looked on.
Won't walk the world
Any different
And my path won't change until you
Make a wall and make me fall
And break me down
I don't know, I don't know
If I wrote this song in vain
In vain, in vain, in vain
I, oh yeah, I
Believe in love
And I hope I can show you what I mean
And I don't believe love's for me
So won't you come around and prove me wrong
Prove me wrong, yeah
You don't know me
And I don't know you
Tell me why should I
Tyler lifted his head and turned to Josh. When he saw him, he smiled.
Do oh...
The child kept his gaze locked on Josh, and finished the song. He was now singing to the man he loved.
So won't you come around and prove me wrong
When he finished the song, Tyler put down his keyboard and ran up to Josh; embracing him.
"I love you, Josh." He said. "I know you're the one my heart longed for."
He whispered into his ear.
"You are my life."
When Josh felt his flower press a kiss on his cheek, he opened his eyes.
(Present)
The entire surrounding of the woods disappeared before him, and there was nothing but smoke and mist. Light from the sky shined down upon him, and there was no way out.
Josh couldn't turn back. He had come to his very moment, and there was nothing he could do to change his mind. He had made a decision to risk his life to meet with Nico, and he would never back down.
As the light engulfed upon Josh's face, a mysterious figure appeared before him. He knew immediately that it was a man, who was dressed as a red cloak. His skin was white and covered in black paint.
When Josh looked into the eyes of the man, he knew immediately who he was facing.
It was master Nico of Dema.
Josh stared into his face; a face of evil and fear. He could visualize the red eyes that enflamed his spooked body. As terrifying as it seemed, the Bandito leader was not afraid.
He didn't look away. He refused to look away from the man that imprisoned the boy he loved; boy he was fighting to save.
Nico opened his mouth, and began to speak.
"Lord Joshua Dun of Trench." He said. "It is a pleasure to meet at your acquaintance."
Nico held out his hand, but Josh refused to take it.
"Why refuse me?"
"I didn't come here to make peace." Josh said.
"Then, why come here?"
"You're the one who summoned me. You should know!"
Nico chuckled.
"Of course, Lord Joshua Dun of Trench. I know why you are here."
The master started encircling Josh.
"You have come to make a deal."
"Yes." The Bandito said.
"What is it that you wish for?" Nico asked.
Josh took a deep breath.
"I want you to release your power from Trench, and free my Tyler from the curse."
When he heard this plea, Nico laughed.
"Cursed? What do you mean by that?"
Josh was outraged.
"Don't fucking act like you don't know!"
"Seriously, Lord Joshua, I haven't a clue on what you speak of concerning your sweet flower child."
Nico leaned closer; looking into the eyes of the Bandito man.
"The child that was once my slave."
Josh snapped.
"Cut the bullshit!" He cried. "My Tyler has been cursed, and I plead for you to release him, and withhold the power you hold on my people."
The man tried to hold back tears when he began to speak of what had happened to the boy he loved.
"My Tyler lies in the Trench crypts, after your servant, Wren Bondarenko, drowned him in the lake."
Nico gasped. Josh could see that he knew about what happened, but for the sake of his plea, he heeded the master's reaction.
"Is the child dead?"
Josh lowered his head.
"He's alive, but under a spell."
"I see." Nico replied. "You wish for me to free him?"
"Yes." Josh said. "I've planned to kill Ender and Wren to undo the spell, but I can't resort to violence. I know that through you, there has to be another way."
After hearing his request, Nico began to laugh.
"My dear, Lord Joshua, I find it very funny that you would face your enemy instead of take care of the problem yourself."
The master got in Josh's face, which frightened the young leader.
"You are a fool to come to me."
"What the hell are you talking about?"
"Killing Ender and Wren won't bring Tyler back."
A wicked smirk appeared on Nico's face.
"You can't save him."
Filled with rage, Josh lunged at Nico, but the master of Dema disappeared into the mist.
Josh swung his hands around; thinking Nico could be hidden anywhere. However, there was so much smoke and flames, the master had merely vanished.
This told Josh that laying low and waiting for Ender and Wren was no longer an option.
It was time to make a move against the enemies.
