Josh took Tyler back into their tent and started prepping him for bed. As the child undressed, Josh went over and got a glass of water.

"Did you have fun tonight, Josh?" Tyler asked; removing his shirt.

"I did, my love." Josh replied.

"I didn't know you could drum."

The man chuckled.

"I used to sneak drums underneath my bed, then I would get them out at night and play it."

"So, you taught yourself?"

"Pretty much."

Tyler took off his pants, and he was now completely naked.

"I think that's very attractive."

Josh looked over and saw his nude flower. He could barely make out the fleshy stems that were peeled off his legs.

It truly showed how much of a flower he was.

He smiled upon his loving boy, then went back to making the water. After adding a few Banditos oils to it, he crushed up two tablets of Nembutal and stirred it into the water.

It was unknown on why he was doing this.

When he was done, he went over and handed it to Tyler, who was already under the blankets in his cot.

"What is this?" The child asked.

"Just a little drink so you don't have nightmares."

Tyler didn't know why he was doing this, but he smiled at the gesture.

"I hope it'll help me."

When he took a little sip, he immediately felt tired and loopy. Josh took the glass from him and set it on the counter next to the cot, then helped him lay down.

"Get some rest, baby."

He gave him a kiss on the forehead, then the child went to sleep.

Around midnight, when no sound was to be heard, Josh went into Kai and Linh's tent. When he walked in, he found them both asleep in two separate cots.

Josh had expected Kai to have already asked Linh to marry him, but he knew that their relationship was still developing.

Quietly, he went over to Kai and shook him awake.

The Bandito opened his eyes and sat up.

"Josh, what are you doing here?"

"Kai, the time is now." The man said. "We must to see to our prisoners."

Without question, the Bandito jumped out of bed, grabbed his torch, and walked with his leader into the darkness of Trench.

As they walked, no sound was made, and the atmosphere was completely. It was as if they were thieves in the night.

As Kai walked with his leader, he knew exactly where they were going.

The brothel, where Ender and Wren are being held.

After Josh killed the previous leader, he intended for Ender and Wren to be put to death as well, but he chose a different fate for them.

For now.

"Does Jenna know you have kept them alive?" Kai asked.

"Yes." Josh replied. "But, I didn't tell her what I've done with them."

"She won't be pleased."

At last, after what seemed to be a long walk, the duo arrived at the brothel, which sat on the highest hill of Trench, and overlooked a river.

Outside the brothel stood two Bandito guards; both were holding torches.

When they saw the two men approaching, they stood in front of the door.

"State your businesses, men." The first guard said.

"I don't need to." Josh said.

He removed his mask, which showed the two guards that he was the leader.

Quickly, they removed themselves from the door.

"Don't get too close, my lord." The second guard said. "The whores like to play."

"Are the prisoners safe?" Josh asked them.

"As you command, sir." The first guard replied.

"Very well."

After thanking them for their service, Josh and Kai walked into the brothel.

The brothel interior resembled Tyler and Josh's tent that they shared, but with whores and pimps getting a taste of women and men.

On a sofa with wide open space and rock shaped pillows, there sat two women; dressed half naked with drinks in their hands.

In between them, there was a man who wore a hood, and had a cigarette locked in his mouth.

It was Ender Mastel.

Josh hadn't seen him since he sent him and Wren into hiding at the brothel, but he never forgot the pain and torment that he caused upon his victims.

When Ender saw Josh, he immediately slapped the two women and sent them away. He then lowered his hood and put the cigarette in his hand.

"My, liege." He said.

He took another huff, then stood up.

"I didn't expect you'd come here."

"Neither did I." Josh said.

Ender approached him.

"What brings you here?"

Josh crossed his arms.

"I wanted to see how you were doing, with your sentence."

"Well, I've gone back to what I do best... hurting women."

"Is that so?"

Ender chuckled.

"I find my life to better as a pimp. I can see anyone I want, and no matter what I do, I won't get punished for it."

"Your punishment will come, Ender." Kai said. "Just wait and see."

"And, what will that be?"

"For all the torture and murder that you've imposed on us, through our former monster of a leader!-"

"Kai, enough." Josh ordered.

The Bandito backed down.

"This is not your punishment, or a form of luxury for the time being." Josh said. "You and Wren will remain here, and there will soon be a trial, then when the verdict is announced, you will both be sentenced."

"Why can't you just kill us now?" Ender asked. "You had the chance to when you killed my leader."

"It was against my mercy."

The wicked man chuckled again.

"Mercy? What the hell do you know about mercy?"

Josh leaned in close.

"I spared your life, asshole."

Then, he leaned back.

"Wasn't that enough?"

"Maybe enough to fool you."

Josh didn't want to waste anymore time on him.

"Inform Wren of what I told you. I'll see to if that the trial is pushed forward."

He signaled Kai, then the two started walking out of the brothel.

"Before you go, my liege, I want you to know something."

Josh turned back to Ender.

"What is it?"

"I thought you should know that Wren is now my wife, and since the time you've come to see us, she is now with child."

Ender smiled and winked.

"Think about that, before you pass the sentence."

Josh was shocked to learn of it, and it made his hatred towards Ended increase.

He didn't know if he was lying or telling the truth, but he didn't want to process any further.

Josh and Kai exited the brothel, and they did not turn back.
