Sweet -Modern AU-

"CHOCOLATE!!" Shouted the brunette teenager as she looked in her locker.

The locker was filled with posters of the young teenage girl's favorite singing duo, Sawney and Bean. There were also small pictures of her and friends, Petra, Mike, Erwin, and her closet friend, Levi. She was holding a red, heart shaped box filled with all her favorite chocolates.

Why did she have these chocolates?

That's because today, was Valentine's Day. Her favorite day of every year, waiting to see which guy would give her chocolates. Usually, it's guys who are impressed with her genius mind, or lost a bet, not for her looks, or merely just for her being her. She doesn't really mind though, since all she really wants is just to be with her friends.

"Hange!" Called out her friend Petra Ral. Petra was carrying her books and was quickly running towards her. She was wearing a pink dress with red hearts all over it. She had just recently started dating Oluo (Ya I ship Petruo. BE GLAD ITS NOT RIVATRA),  so she and Oluo were going after school to go sightseeing. Petra was basically on her toes for a whole week when he asked her.

Hange closed her locker, with her hands filled with books for last two classes of the day, along with the chocolates.

"You look like your in a rush." She patted her friend on the shoulder with a toothy grin. "Two hours. You'll survive."

Petra nodded her head, breathed in, and exhaled.

"So, who's you're admirer this year?" The strawberry blonde asked Hange.

"Oh!" Hange said as quickly fixed her ponytail with one hand and tried opening the box with the other and was failing at it.

After three tries she opened it and frowned.

"It doesn't say."

"You have a secret admirer? Wow, you're lucky." Petra giggled."Well,  we better get to class, or we'll get a detention from Mr. Shadis, and you know how he is."

Hange's expression went from down to bubbly as she chuckled. " Ya, I know. Let's get going."

The two girls quickly skipped to class as the first warning bell went off.

—Timeskip-The end of the day—

"Have fun, Petra!" Waved Hange to Petra as the strawberry blonde ran to meet up with Oluo as Hange walked back to her locker. When she arrived at her locker,  there was a rather short teenage boy, with an emotionless expression and raven-brown hair.

"Hello Mr. Levi, what brings you here?" Hange said as she took out her brown colored backpack and threw all her school supplies in.

"Remember we're going to your place to study and play video games?" Levi said in annoyance with his taller friend.

"OOOOOh," The female dragged out her words. "I forgot. Ya let's get going. You driving, cause I call shotgun."

"Ya I always drive, four eyes." Responded the ravenette impatiently. (Why am I imaging Levi's English VA saying that...?)

They scurried to his silver Mercedes-Benz and drove to Hange's place.

                      -—–—-

The car ride was uneventful, as Levi liked a quiet ride, and Hange was listening to her favorite duo on her phone.

Hange's place was small. She lived alone, so it was perfectly fine with her landlord to play loud music (as long as she didn't get too many complaints about it from the neighbors, which they didn't.)

"I like what you haven't done with the place." Levi said in a monotone voice.

Hange pouted her face and fixed her glasses. "Of course you do!"

"Can we just get on with the video games?" He asked meanly.

Hange nodded her head and dragged the poor boy to her basement, where her game consoles were.

They first played Resident Evil 4 (Personal Favorite Game, but its soooo hard for first timers.) Hange died alot, while Levi was basically winning and didn't die once.

The second game was Assassin's Creed IIII, were Hange and Levi died at least three different times.

The third game was Corpse Party. Hange kept giggling at the deaths, while Levi kept a straight face the entire time.

The clock struck seven, as Hange paused the extras in the Corpse Party game and threw the console on the couch beside her. Levi plopped the console on his lap and threw his head back.

"I'm hungry." Levi groaned.

Hange smiled. She dug through her bag. "Are up for some chocolate?"

Levi's face blushed a bit as Hange handed him the box. He was hesitant to open the box.

"What's wrong, Levi?" Asked a dumbfounded Hange.

She sat on the couch for a minute, and study Levi's body language. Her eyes widened when she realized why he was hesitant to open the box.

She gasped. "Your the one who gave me the chocolates!"

Levi's face became red than crimson when she said that. Levi was awkward and felt dumb when it came to romance, so he turned to alot of cheesy romcoms that Sasha Blouse recommended him.

He sighed. "Alright, you caught me."

"You actually like me?" The extremely surprised girl asked the boy. She did have feelings for the ravenette back in middle school,  but thought that he didn't like her back, so she kept quiet about her liking to him.

"Ya I like you, shitty glasses. I like your smile, your outrageous laugh, you being unbearable half the time (wow I regret typing that word), I like you for being you." Once he finished his confession, he was redder than the color red, and was practically sweating.

"H-How long?"Asked Hange.

"Since middle school." Levi said nervously as he scratched his cheek.

Hange immediately jumped on the boy and embraced him.

"You have no idea how long I've been wanting to tell someone about this. I like you too. Since the day we met, I had feelings for you. But I was too chicken to tell you. I'm kinda glad it was you who told me." She pecked his cheek. "So dinner?"

Levi nodded his head. "Sure."

Finished. Wow my fingers hurt.
Well I'm going to bed. Night.
Feedback is appreciated.
