Dirk's POV

I was able to get out of my room, and I was led straight to Hanji's first pup. I see her lying on the bed, a bit exhausted. I remember when I saw that hunter... a man with silver eyes that killed my people. Hanji protected him... and it led to them conceiving this child. Now, this child of Hanji's has every quality of her father. Perfect. 

I was escorted into the room, and I saw her transform into her wolf form. Her form... somewhat different from Hanji's... but I could see that the wolf still bore Hanji's spots and stripes. If her father was a werewolf, I assume the color of her pelt would match his. She growled with her gray eyes shining brightly.

"Raven, right? I know your mommy." The fire in her eyes faded away when I mentioned her. "Hanji's her name, right? And your daddy too... he looks just like you. Levi's his name."

"You know them...?" She asks after she turns back into her human form. "You're Mommy's friend?"

That'll work... I nod my head, "Yes, I'm Hanji's friend. My name is Dirk."

"When can I see my mommy? I wanna see her... I wanna stay with her... she's gonna have my sister... and I wanna stay with her. Mommy said we have to be very careful and she can't get angry. That's what Daddy said too."

I knelt and held out my hand, "Don't worry. You'll see her soon. But of course, you need to be a good girl. I heard you hurt someone. Why?"

"I wanted to go find Mommy, and they touched me. I scratched them because I didn't want them to touch me. I just wanna find Mommy... so we can go find Daddy again... I wanna go home..." She whimpers softly, "I wanna go home... with Mommy and Daddy again."

"I heard that if you behave, you can go see your Mommy. But I'll be your friend, okay?"

"Can you tell Mommy that I miss her?"

I nod my head, "Of course, Raven. I'll tell her that. But first, can we be friends?" Raven looked at my hand before reluctantly reaching her hand out to mine. We shook our hands lightly, and we smiled softly. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Raven. Now, I understand you can't leave your room. Is there something we can bring you?"

"P-Pancakes?"

"We'll see if we can get you pancakes for breakfast. Any toys?"

She thinks for a bit before settling on crayons and paper. She couldn't have any technology in the room, but I think she'll be fine. When I returned with what she wanted, she quickly starts drawing some... terrible drawings of wolves. When I looked carefully at it, I saw that the wolves look like... herself and Hanji. But this new wolf... looked like a bigger version of Raven.

"What's that?" I asked, pointing to the wolf.

"If Daddy was a wolf like Mommy and me, then he'll look like that. Mommy said that I look a bit different because I look more like Daddy. If Daddy was a wolf, then he would look like that."

"Does he want to turn into a wolf?"

"Daddy said not yet. I don't know why he doesn't want to turn into a wolf, just like us. It's so fun..." 

For hours, I spent time with Raven. She seems to grow on me... and I wonder how to pull her away from her parents' grasp. She's in that stage where she completely trusts her parents, and the only way to pull her away is if something bad happens to them. Due to our promise, the doctor will not harm Hanji... and Levi would do anything to retrieve them.

I must manipulate her... get her to trust me more than anyone else...

Hanji's POV

They kept sending me food as if they were going to fatten me up before slaughter. But I was surprised when I saw the cameras turn off for a little while. Someone opened the door, and I was stunned to see who it was... "Kristopher?"

He quickly runs to me, examining me before hugging me. "How the hell did you get here?"

"Kidnapped... Kristopher, we're worried for you-."

"I know, and I'm sorry. But listen, I heard that we had a pregnant werewolf enter with a young pup... I heard your name. I had to check on you. Listen, you cannot tell them or look for me to help if I'm in the room."

"W-Why? Do they not know our relationship?"

He shook his head, "They think I'm a human. Hanji, listen to me, Dirk is here." I felt my body turn to ice when I heard his name, "He's with Raven. They're trying to sway her to stay with him. I can do what I can, but I'll admit, I can't do much. Who is your mate?"

"You won't know him... Levi Ackerman... he's a hunter. Trust him."

"I'll try to get a message out, hold on, okay?" I nod my head. "Hang in there, Hanji. I'll get you out of here. When free, I'll explain everything..."
