Levi's POV

I remember jolting awake in a panic as Nanaba shook me awake. A few other werewolves stood around me, wondering if I was okay. "Levi! Levi, are you okay?"

"I-I'm fine..." Werewolves were around me... but why was Nanaba shaking me awake? Usually, it's Hanji that's-. "Where's Hanji?" I saw her pupils grow small when I mentioned my love's name. "Nanaba, where's Hanji? Where is she? Where's my daughter?"

"We don't know. We were trying to gather everyone for lunch- and that's when we saw you here. We tried searching for Hanji and Raven- I don't know where they are. We searched everywhere..."

Some wolf came up and transformed into a human. "We found something-."

"What? What is it?"

The werewolf looked at me with sorrowful eyes. "We found traces of some sort of scent. A couple of us passed out by a small whiff of it. Humans have walked through, and it seems that they aren't affected. It's only affecting werewolves."

"You're telling me that someone kidnapped my family?!" I tried to get up to my feet but immediately fell. I touched my forehead but immediately flinched. I felt some sort of pain in my cheek. First my arm and now my head. No... my head doesn't matter... my girls are gone... "Where are they...?"

"We're going to find them, but right now, you're hurt. Jackson, try to track the scent down."

"If only we could. One whiff of it at we're passing out. Humans are immune to it. We can follow it, but you'll be following sleeping bodies."

"I sound like a monster... but I don't give a damn. Hanji's out there with my unborn child and daughter. I don't know if Hanji and Raven are separated... I don't know anything... just do something to find them. Bring them back... I'm not going to give up."

Nanaba helps me to my feet, holding my arm firmly. "If anything, they're not going to kill her. Not both of them. We have time."

"How much time?"  I turn to her, scowling, "They were taken... and if they were kidnapped and not killed off... what's going to happen to them?! How long do I have until they're taken away and there's no way to track them?! What's going to happen to my kids?! Raven's turning 6 this year! She was excited to start school- tell me, Nanaba, how much time do we have?!"

She sighed, "We'll do the best that we can. We have the best trackers here. We'll find them. We just need a way to detect the fumes without us passing out. We'll handle it. I'm not letting my best friend and favorite niece to leave us that easily."

I closed my eyes, sighing softly... what happened to me... I let them use the bathroom for a few minutes... then I ended up on the ground, passed out. Where are my wife and daughter...? What would happen to the both of them? I only hope for the best and hope the worse hasn't gotten to them...
