Last night...

Levi's POV

"I'll see you tomorrow," I say to Hanji, kissing her uncontrollably as I walked away from her room. I hate parting with her... but I have to respect her family's wishes to keep to the strict rules. "I love you, Hanji..."

"I love you too, Levi."  We shared one more kiss before I walked away.

As I made my way to my temporary room, I see Erwin and Hanji's dad walking my way. "If you're here to bully me about marrying Hanji and not turning into a werewolf-."

"We're not here for that, Levi," Erwin says, "it's about the killer of the werewolf."

"Hanji can claim my-."

"We went over the evidence that you and Hanji went through." Hanji's dad began, sighing. "And I trust my daughter that you are innocent. Besides, the fact she was mating with you the entire time when he was murdered... I'm inclined to believe her."

Do you guys need to say it like that?

"And I trust Hanji too. Reluctantly, we went through everyone's files. Do you know the name of Lester McPerkin?"

"No, I don't."

"We believe he's the one who framed you, Levi."

"Then why don't you arrest him?" I scowled, "Do something. If you have someone that you suspect, you need to take him in and do something- that man tried to frame me for a murder I didn't commit. I would do anything for Hanji. I love her. The feeling of knowing that any werewolf here wouldn't accept me is stressful."

Erwin raised his eyebrow, "Are you done ranting, Levi? Can we finish talking?" I shrugged my shoulders in response. "The reason we can't arrest him is that he's not here. We invited everyone to this wedding tomorrow, and he already stated that he'll be here for the wedding. We'll take him then."

"Who's taking him down?"

"What's a better way that the werewolf hunter himself to take down the werewolf that framed him?" Henry says with a smirk. "Prove that you're a part of this pack by not only protecting your name but also protecting this pack."

"Am I killing him or arresting him?"

"Arresting." Henry quickly replies. "Killing him is nice, but I rather not remember today as his execution day as well as my daughter's wedding day." The wedding! "Levi, I know it's not just her day tomorrow, but your day as well. But I do not want her to know about this. Understand? Promise me that she will not hear about this."

"I promise. Besides, she's pregnant with my baby. I'm not going to let her get into any harm's way."

"Then we'll work together to capture him. But of course... it'll have to be right before the wedding begins, Levi."

I didn't want to wear the suit while arresting the werewolf, but I would be cutting it close to the wedding. I didn't want to disappoint her. Not ever. We cornered Lester, and he knew his fate.

Lester turned to both Henry and Erwin, "You're willing to stand up for a hunter that killed our kind. You're letting a hunter into this pack. A murderer."

"But he never killed Arthur," Henry began, scowling, "you did. You framed him. My daughter would've been exiled from this pack because you framed him. Do you not care for her? My daughter?"

"She should've chosen someone who wasn't a werewolf. Someone who wasn't a hunter. I was protecting this pack from a dangerous human. And you're welcoming him in with open arms. What happens if he goes on a killing spree? Killing every innocent werewolf in this pack! I'm not going to let it happen. Not even a chance! I love this pack. I grew up here. Do you not see the danger you are inviting to this pack!?"

"I don't kill innocent werewolves," I growled, gripping onto silver handcuffs given to me by Hanji's dad. "And this is Hanji's pack. I would never harm one of them. She opened my eyes to the fact there were werewolves like you guys. I always thought of them like the ones that killed humans. That's the only way I could track werewolves was from them killing humans. Tomorrow, I will enjoy watching you suffer."

"Why not today?" He smirked, "Are you scared of telling your soon-to-be wife about you being a murderer to kill her pack member?"

Erwin steps in, snarling, "She wouldn't give a damn. After all, it was because of her brains that we figured it was you. How does it feel to know that you're the one that will be hated amongst your pack?"

Lester scowled, defending himself from everything. While Erwin and Henry both tried to pin him down, one of Lester's knees hit my face, and I could feel my eye in slight pain. As we tussled and eventually slapped the cuffs onto Lester, watching his skin burn in pain, I helped escort him into the basement and locked him behind a door.

"It suits you," Erwin chuckles, pointing at my face. "Now I know you're truly human."

"Where the hell is he?" Some werewolf ran up to me, red in the face. "Levi, you're needed- now."

"Shit, what time is it?" I quickly check my watch, seeing that I was very late. Hanji, forgive me for being late. "I can't fix my clothes- and my eye- goddammit. Where is it?!" We ran together to quickly get there in time before they ended the ceremony. I know that Hanji can't marry anyone else due to her having one mate... but still... I don't want her to believe I abandoned her.

Hanji... I love you...
