Hanji's POV

When I woke up, I could hear Levi still sleeping. Looking around, I see Levi's arm over my torso and rested right under my boob. I could feel his body touching mine, and I liked it. If I could fall in love with anyone, it'll be him. Oh... but the feeling to use the bathroom is so strong... I want to stay in Levi's arms...

I'll be quick.

Shimming out of Levi's grasp, I got out of bed and saw Levi sleeping peacefully. Seeing him like that... my heart sank. Ugh, then that urge came back.

After my business was done, I walked out of the bathroom and saw Levi sitting up in the bed. He turns to me with a soft smile, "There you are. Was wondering where you were."

"Had to use the bathroom." I chuckle, walking back towards the bed. "Did you sleep well? I noticed that you wrapped your arm around me when I woke up. I didn't realize that you were sleeping so close to me." Levi turned his head as his cheeks grew red.

"Oh... sorry-."

"It's fine, it's fine," I chuckle, waving my hands, "I... I don't mind it. It was... nice." Then, my hands went to my stomach as I felt a small rumble. "Since you're up, I hope you don't mind uhh... getting some breakfast?"

"Is that what you want? What do you want to eat then?"

"Pancakes," I say without hesitation. 

Levi gave a small groan as he pushed himself off of the bed. "Alright, pack your stuff up. We'll eat before we continue. How many more days until we get there?"

"Well, yesterday, it was 2 days, but it takes about 16 hours to get there... so we might get there if we take turns driving." Levi nods his head in agreement as he began to strip himself of his clothes. I looked away, even though I wanted to see him half-naked. Is that wrong? "I'll get changed then. The bathroom's mine-."

"You can't do that- I haven't even used it yet."

My eyes rolled as I pick up my change of clothes. "Then hurry it up and use it. I need to change."

Off we were onto our adventure to Rosite. I finally convinced Levi that I should drive, and he was busy taking a nap. I drove for over 5 hours when Levi did 11. We finally came into Rosite, a city that wasn't too big nor too small. We weren't going to find a motel in this place...

"We're here?" I didn't hear him wake up. He sat his chair in its upright position before rolling his shoulders back.

"Well, good evening to you too," I chuckle, "We're not going to find a motel here. Might as well find a hotel instead. Go exploring tomorrow morning."

"Before we do that, I need a refill on my sleeping pills."

"Okay. We'll find the nearest drugstore."

While Levi was busy looking at sleeping pills, I was wandering around the food court. The drugstore was part of this outdoor mall area, and there was a ton of food around. Sure, most of them are fast food places, but we needed a change of pace for food. We had too many burgers and soda on the road. 

"I do want some sushi... fish is a change of pace..." I murmured to myself as I stood in the center of the food court, staring at every restaurant. "But would Levi want some- ow!" I turned to see someone bump into me. "Sorry," I murmured, shaking my head. The guy didn't even apologize.

I was about to head back into the drugstore to fetch Levi when the hair on the back of my neck rose. Turning my head around, I thought I saw someone staring at me. Why can't I have my wolf senses as a human?! I didn't want to draw any more attention to myself, so I walked back into the drugstore, frantically looking for Levi.

I found him standing in line, holding a small box of sleeping pills. When I bumped into him, he gave a soft glare, "What's gotten into you?" He asked, crossing his arms as he looked at me. "Did you get dinner?"

"No, I didn't... how long is this going to take?"

"A few minutes. Why? Something wrong?"

"I thought someone was staring at me. Something felt wrong." I whispered, leaning on his shoulder. "I'm not too sure if they were following me."

Levi sighed, walking out of the line. "Alright, let's get out of here."

"You're not getting your pills?"

Levi stayed silent until he put the sleeping pills back. "I'm okay for one night. Right now, we should get out of here. Maybe it's one of Dirk's werewolves. Let's hurry."

"But it's your pills-."

"We had a deal, Hanji," He says, gripping his hand on mine, "I'm taking you straight to your pack- safe and sound. I'm not going to let anything else happen to you. Do you understand?" I wanted to protest, but I know there's no use in arguing against him. I nodded my head and we quickly left for the car.

We began to quicken our pace back to the car when a familiar figure came into sight. I gasp, realizing that it wasn't just the one guy who bumped into me and stared at me... but I knew who it was.

Levi's hand went to his belt, right where he kept a silver knife- just in case. He wrapped his free arm around me, keeping me behind him. "Stay behind me," he tells me.

"Wait," I pushed Levi's arm out of the way, smiling softly, "Erwin?"
