A screeching sound filled up their ears after the Corporal fired a gun.

" Remind me, what is our mission? Is it just to simply act on impulse in the heat of the moment? Let me answer that question for you. It's not. This squad's mission is to keep this brat alive. Whatever the cost. We keep pushing forward on horseback. Is that clear?"

" Understood Sir!" Petra replied.

" But for how long? We can't keep riding forever. She's right on top of us as it is. If we don't do something soon-" Eren said while looking behind. Seeing more soldiers that are being crushed by the Female Titan. " No! They keep coming! They'll all die unless we turn around and do something!"

" Eren! Stop looking behind us!" Gunther told him.

" Seriously?" Eren asked.

" Keep pace with the group and take top speed or we're all dead!" Eld shouted.

" Eld please! Help them! If the Levi squad can't stop this thing then who can? Those men need us!" Eren pleaded." He looked back again and saw the Female Titan stomping on a soldier. " Another one! Damn it! He didn't have to die! Cmon, there's still one left. We can save him if we turn back before it's too late!"

" Do what you're told Eren! Eyes forward." Petra said.

" How can you ignore what's happening back there? Are you telling me to abandon my Comrades? Is that it?" Eren replied.

"Damn it. Yes! Stop whining and do what your Captain tells you." Petra uttered.

" Why are we letting people die. If this is a part of a bigger picture, why can't someone explain it to me?" Eren said.

" Ask not the reason why. Ask what to do and die. You'd understand what that means if you weren't such a useless greenhorn. Now stay put and behave like a soldier!" Olou said.

Eren didn't want to abandon his Comrades like what they're telling him but he has to follow the orders.

' No, I can do this without them.' Eren thought as he stared at his thumb. ' I don't need to rely on any one else.'

Eren was about to bite his hand when Petra shouted at him.

" No Eren! Stop! You're only allowed to assume Titan Form when you're life is in danger. That was the agreement. You swore!"

Eren still didn't listen and started to bite his hand.

" I wouldn't blame you." Eren stopped as the Corporal spoke, shocked that the Corporal said that. " In the end, you choose what you choose. Just don't choose anything that you'll regret. You can trust yourself or you can trust the people willing to put their lives on the line for you."

Eren looked back and saw the Female Titan behind them, raising his hands to his mouth once more.

" Eren, trust us." Petra said with pleading eyes.

Eren just stared at her, wasting their time.

" Eren make up your damn mind!" Levi shouted at him.

Eren started to see the importance of trust in their squad, remembering all the times that went by that he spent with them.

Eren hesitated but he finally made a choice.

" Im with you." He shouted as all of them stared at him.

Suddenly, a shout was heard and a soldier was smashed into a tree. The Female Titan ran faster after.

" Target has accelerated." Gunther announced.

" Just keep moving. We'll outrun the bitch." Levi said.

' Outrun? Are you kidding me? We'll be crushed before we know what hit us. No. We should keep moving forward. They trust the Captain and he trusts them. That's what this is about. That's why they can keep moving. I need to be a part of it. I need to trust them, like they trust me.' Eren reminded himself.

They were all concentrated on moving forward when a shout was heard.

" Fire!"

In a flash, the Female Titan was trapped, her movements were altered by artillery fire armed with harpoons.

" Ride the horses a bit further and switch to 3DMG. Take Eren to a place far away from the Female Titan. Eld is in charge. I have to break away for a little bit." Levi told them as he went on the other direction.

Levi went to the tree branch were Erwin was as they all stared at the Female Titan.

" She's not putting up much of a fight." Levi observed.

" There's no reason to let our guard down." Erwin remarked. " Good work leading her here, I was impressed."

" We couldn't have if it weren't for those soldiers, they bought us time. This belongs to them. Don't attempt to ever forget that."

" Is that so?" Erwin asked.

" Yes. Because of their sacrifice, we can expose who this really is. The person in there is probably pissing themselves right about now." Levi said.

Levi drew his blades out but Erwin stopped him.

" Not quite yet Levi. A little more insurance." Erwin told him. " Third wave! Fire!" He shouted as another set of harpoons fly into the air.

" Poor thing. Can't even bat an eyelash, can we? That must be frustrating. Get used to it. Biology can often be a curse. The more your wounds heal, the stiffer your joints become." Hange laughed maniacally. She glanced up and saw Levi and Mike trying to cut through the hands of the Female Titan. " Strike while iron is hot, I see."

It didnt have an effect because the Female Titan just hardened the skin on her hands, breaking the blades that were used.

Erwin raised his right hand and a soldier came rushing to him.

" Prepare an artillery round. I want her hands blown off." Erwin commanded.

" With all due respect Commander, there's a risk if we use the cannons. The hands will get blown off but whatever is underneath it will too, Sir." The soldier argued.

" A fine point soldier. That's why you'll aim carefully and get rid of all the risks. On my signal, I want an all out firing." Erwin spoke.

" Yes sir." The soldier said, not arguing any longer, as he went down the tree and signaled the other people.

"Knock knock. We know you're in there. Why don't you make this easy and come on out, stop wasting our time. Seriously what do you think you'll gain by stalling. If you're thinking that we'll let you go, we won't. If you're thinking of escaping, don't." Levi talked to the Female Titan while he was standing on her head." All you should be thinking about are all the good people you killed today. Not that you would, it's not your style is it? Remorse. You enjoy killing. Which means we have something in common. Of course, I like killing Titans but it's a start Im sure we can still find some little things. Oh that's right. Will we are on that subject let me ask, you're okay with me cutting your limbs off right? I mean they'll grow back. Im talking about your actual body. We don't want you dead just yet."

The Female Titan seemed to be shocked of what Levi told him and it suddenly screamed interrupting Levi's little speech. It was heard even outside the forest. It was a cry of agony, a sound of an animal dying.

" They're coming from all directions. Fast. Dozens."

You held the letter on your hands as you climbed on your bed, putting the letter under your pillow.

You started to think about what was happening outside the walls while you continued cleaning, we don't want the Corporal getting mad.
