"Row faster."Commanded the Captain harshly, whom of he was a pirate.

"Aye aye!"Says his crew as they followed their captain's command, picking up the pace of their rowing in the murky waters. It was night time and the temperature quite cool. They took three separate row boats since there was more than enough who wanted to go with the captain on his travels and not stay on the ship for awhile.

As they rowed, they hear a ripple from the waters. Not the ripples from the waves. Not the ripples of their oars. But ripples that came out as a slight splash in the water.

"Erm, Cap'n?"A crew member, Jean says.

"What?"Says the man as his steel blue eyes bored into the boy.

"I think there's something in the waters..."He says with slight concern in his voice.

"Tch. Don't be ridiculous."The captain said as he clicked his tongue.

"Aye aye."He says as he continued rowing. Another boy, Eren, sat next to him as he looked around for any sign of land.

After a couple more minutes another crew member, Armin, sees something on the rocks near by,"Captain Levi...!"He whispered yelled.

"What is it this time?"Asks the captain, Levi, in slight annoyance.

"I think there's something over there...!"He whispers pointing out in the direction of the rocks.

"It's probably your imagination. It's bloody dark here after all. Keep going-"He gets cut off by a voice. A voice that was singing. In such melody that everyone stops rowing to listen.

[Play the song]

"Upon one summer's morning, I carefully did stray,
Down by the Walls of Wapping, where I met a sailor gay.
Conversing with a young lass, who seem'd to be in pain,
Saying, William, when you go, I fear you will ne'er return again..."

They were all quiet.

"Where's that coming from, Cap'n?"Jean asks. Levi doesn't respond but continues listening for the source of the singing.

"My heart is pierced by Cupid
I disdain all glittering gold.
There is nothing can console me,
But my jolly sailor bold."

They all look in the direction of the rocks and slowly rowed towards it.

"His hair it hangs in ringlets,
His eyes as black as coal.
My happiness attend him,
Wherever he may go..."

Once there, they see a woman. But not just any woman-a mermaid. Her (h/c) hair wet and slightly tangled. Her tail scaly but glimmering from the waters and their lanterns shine. Some scales were seen on her stomach, some around her chest, and a few on her shoulders. Gills on her neck.

"From Tower Hill to Blackwall,
I'll wander, weep and moan.
All for my jolly sailor,
Until he sails home."

They all stared at her in awe at her beauty. Except for Levi, who just stared blankly at her. But a spark of interest and curiosity slightly lit inside of him. She then slowly turns to look at them with her sparkling (e/c) eyes. And continued to sing.

"My heart is pierced by Cupid,
I disdain all glittering gold.
There is nothing can console me,
But my jolly sailor bold."

They were all moved by her singing and some continued to stare and listen to her singing, as if in a trance.

"My father is a merchant,
The truth I now will tell.
And in great London City,
In opulence doth dwell."

She looked at the pirates with full innocence and leaned down on her stomach, resting the side of her cheek in her hand her tail in the waters, slowly swaying side to side. She scanned the crew as she sang, and the she got to the captain. A small smirk played on her lips as she looked directly at him and continued to sing.

"His fortune doth exceed,
Three-hundred thousand gold.
And he frowns upon his daughter,
Who loves a sailor bold."

The crew moved slightly closer to her, and she smiled victoriously in her head as she swooned them to come closer with her singing.

"A big for his riches,
His merchandise and gold.
True love has grafted my heart,
Give me my sailor bold."

As they moved closer, the mermaid, (Y/n), sat up and leaned forward in Levi's direction as she looked directly at him. He tilts his head slightly curiously at what was happening. But couldn't seem to grasp it as he moved closer to her.

"My heart is pierced by Cupid,
I disdain all glittering gold.
There is nothing can console me,
But my jolly sailor bold."

Soon enough, Levi was just only a feet away from the rock that (Y/n) sat upon as he stood in the boat. Looking at one another. He himself felt as if he were in a trance but tried all his might to fight it back internally. She smirks, but barely seen, knowing she got them where she wanted them.

"Should he return in pov'rty,
From o'er the ocean far.
To my tender bosom,
I'll press my jolly tar."

As she sang, from below the waters, came other mermaids swimming up. Levi slowly and carefully got closer to (Y/n), listening intently at her hypnotic singing and features.

"My sailor is as smiling,
As the pleasant month of May.
And often we have wandered,
Through Ratcliffe Highway."

Soon the other mermaids rose above the waters to only where the water was up to their shoulders. The other pirates looked at the newly arrived beings from below the waters, but Levi continued to have his attention on (Y/n), who was singing.

"Many a pretty blooming,
Young girl we did behold.
Reclining on the bosom,
Of her jolly sailor bold."

The mermaids swam a little closer to the crew, as they started to sing along. Levi unknowingly walks onto the rock to get closer to (Y/n), then on his knees before her, only several inches away from her. She leans toward him flirtatiously.

"My heart is pierced by Cupid,
I disdain all glittering gold.
There is nothing can console me,
But my jolly sailor bold."

The crew members, mostly the young men, slightly leaned forward towards the mermaids. Hypnotized, same went for Levi as he slowly made his way towards (Y/n). And their faces were only a few inches apart. (Y/n) took the chance to admire his charming features for a human up close as she sang.

"My name it is Maria,
A merchant's daughter fair.
And I left my parents,
And three thousand pounds a year."

A mermaid traced her fingertips over Jean's lips as she sang. Levi's face was now only an inch away from (Y/n)'s. His head tilted slightly, her cool breath trickled his lips as she sang.

"Come all you pretty fair maids,
Whoever you may be.
Who love a jolly sailor,
That plows the raging sea."

A mermaid puts her hands on either sides of Eren's face, slowly pulling him in for a "kiss".

"While up aloft in storm,
From me his absence mourn.
And firmly pray arrive the day,
He's never more to moan."

Levi slips a hand to the back of (Y/n)'s neck to pull her face close to his, needing the slight urge to kiss her. She continued to sing but softly against his lips that was only a centimeter away.

"My heart is pierced by Cupid,
I disdain all glittering gold.
There is nothing can console me,
But my jolly sailor bold."

She places her hand in the side of his face as she slightly moved closer to Levi. The other mermaids also had the crew members close to them.

"My heart is pierced by Cupid,
I disdain all glittering gold.
There is nothing can console me,
But my jolly sailor bold...."

She ends the song as her lips made contact with his. Once that happens, something inside her sparks and her heart starts to beat faster. This was a feeling she hasn't felt for any male, especially a human. It made her feel warm and loved that she didn't want the kiss to end. Was that all it was? Love?

Before their kiss could go any further, a loud sploosh sound is heard. As if something, or perhaps someone was forcefully pulled into the waters. And then a yelp as a loud skreech is heard.

Turns out a crew member was forcefully pulled into the waters by a mermaid. And the yelp was also from one of the crew members as the skreeching came from one of the mermaids her bared her fangs and her eye narrowed like a snake. And then a chain reaction occurred as they were suddenly attacked by the mermaids.

Levi pulled away from the kiss abruptly, realizing what was going on. "Damn it! They're Sirens! All of them!"He growled in anger and some sadness hidden behind it, figuring out they were all, including HIMSELF, were toyed. He glared at (Y/n),"How dare you play us like this."He growled menacingly through slightly clenched teeth.

All (Y/n) could do was look at him, with slight guilt as she watched her fellow mermaids drown and frighten the pirates.

"Back to the ship!"Levi commands as everyone retreated to where the ship was. He got into his row boat and started rowing away.

(Y/n) watched helplessly as he was going further away from where she was. The mermaids go back into the waters as she was still on the rock. Looking in the direction Levi went,"Don't leave..."She slightly whimpered as a few tears slipped down her cheeks,"Come back..."

As Levi rowed back to the ship, the thought of the mermaid wouldn't leave his mind. But the anger and humiliation that boiled inside of him blocked his thoughts about her. He started to develop feelings for the Siren without even knowing.

A/N: Sorry for not updating ANYTHING! I'm sorry! I'm just dealing with sports, school, and other shniz nits. And I'm still working on the requests you guys gave me. But this oneshot was just an idea of mine that I wanted to try out. And yes... I used a song from the Pirates of the Caribbean. I mean... It's a great movie. Especially the other ones. And... Captain Jack Sparrow is almost like the highlight in which he makes the movie funny. Anyways, enough of my babbling.
