"What are you doing still up and singing at this hour?"Levi growls slightly in annoyance.  (Y/n) stared at him almost blankly as slight fear and curiosity still lingered within her. "Can you even speak? You should if you can sing."He spats. The Siren sighs.

"Yes..."She responds quietly. Her voice soft and sweet. "I can speak... And I am still awake because I'm having trouble sleeping..."She looks up at him with her (e/c) eyes which was seen from the almost dim light of his lantern.

"And the singing?"Levi asks as he crossed his arms across his chest. He didn't have his coat on and had his shirt unbuttoned halfway and his sleeves rolled up. He looked to be quite built.

"It's just a habit..."

"Tch.."He clicked his tongue as they  went silent for a moment. (Y/n) started to study his very feature which he caught sight of,"Why are you staring at me?"

She blushes slightly,"I don't know why."

He raises a brow as he walked over to the tank and set the lantern down,"How can you not know?"

"I just don't."

"You're telling me that you have no idea why you were just staring at me like a minute ago?"

She nods,"Yes.... It's just that... You're just... How can I say... Fascinating in a way."

Levi arches a brow,"Me? 'Fascinating'? How so?"He asks as he pulls up a chair quietly and sat down onto it facing next to her.

"Well, to start it off... You're... Devilishly handsome..."She says quietly with a slight blush as she looked down swirled her finger around the water,"And... I don't know... Something about you is just intriguing in a way."

"Really?"His brow still arched in slight curiosity.

She nods still not looking at him,"Mhm. I've never been that close to a human when we first met. Well, I have. But never THAT close..."She looks up at him,"And I apologize for my actions back then."

Levi narrowed his eyes at her before clicking his tongue,"Tch. You better be."

"I am... And if you don't mind me asking... What's your name?"

He was silent for a moment before answering,"Levi. Captain Levi Ackerman."

"Ah,"She nods,"I like that name. Levi suits you well."

"Hm thank you..."He mutters.

"You're welcome."She smiles,"Oh and my name is (Y/n)."

He nods,"So tell me, (Y/n), what were you doing all the out here? Getting caught in my fishing nets to add to that."

"Well,"She looks back down at the water lifting her tail a few times,"I was just exploring. I wasn't paying attention and got caught in your net. Again, my apologies."

He nods and looks at her than to her tail,"So, you're a Siren. Not a mermaid."

(Y/n) nods,"Yes. We Sirens are very different from the mermaids you see in coves. Sirens are always at the edge of the island near the rocks. Since it's easier to shipwreck and kill humans that way. And we're not what we seem to be. Yes we portray seductresses of the men's dreams. And as of what you have seen earlier today and last month during our attack of how we bare our fangs and our pupils narrowing. That's not our fully true form when we attack. If we please, we turn into... How should I word it... These... Creatures [A/N: That picture]. Nothing of what you see us as these mermaids. I don't usually turn into that but some Sirens do. Mermaids are different. They're gentle, harmless, beautiful maidens as their true and every form. Sirens aren't like that. We're... Monsters in our true and every form..."She looks at Levi,"Get the difference?"

He nods,"Fully... And clear something up for me... What was it about me being 'devilishly' handsome?"He smirks slightly causing her to blush.

"It's just that you are. I believe all the female humans would be falling for you just by your looks. I bet you have a lover back at your home."Saying this kinda hurt her a little, since she already secretly had feelings for him.

"Actually, I don't."He says in 'a-matter-of-fact' kind of way. A wave of relief washed over her.

"Oh..."She replies quietly and looked down again.

"What?"

"Hm?"She looks back up at him in confusion.

"Why did you say that I must have a lover back at my home like you hoped that I didn't?"He smirked a little more. She blushes.

"I-I don't know what you're talking about. That's absurd."She looks away embarrassingly.

"Tch. Admit it, (Y/n)."He says as he stood from his chair and walked over to her. She feels his thumb and index finger cup her chin and almost forcefully made her look straight at him. "You were in hopes that I was still single."He says lowly as his face was only inches away from hers when he bent down to her eye level.

She blushes,"I wasn't. I would never."She denies slightly. He doesn't buy it.

He clicked his tongue,"Liar."

"I'm not!"She says with a small frown. He smirks as he leaned in closer, she could feel his hot breath trickling her lips.

"What would it take for you to admit it..."He whispers in a husky tone that was laced with some sultry, making her blush even more; she waited in need for him to make the next move. He smirks and pulls away, much to her disappointment. "Tch... It wouldn't take anything since it's completely obvious." She looks away.

"How long am I here for?"

"As long as it takes. I'm still not happy how you and your little group of Sirens attacked us, resulting of us losing a couple of our crew members."He walks over to the lamp and picks it up, walking away. She watches him.

"And I regretted it."She says quietly. He stops walking and side glances at her. "And I felt... Terrible after what they did to your crew. All because of me." There was a moment of silence as he walks away. She sighs and lays back, letting her body go deeper into the water if possible.

[Time Skip]

It's been a couple of weeks since Captain Levi and his crew held (Y/n) captive. She got fed fresh caught fish regularly. Some of the crew members came down to the lower deck either to see her or learn more about her. But the one who came down the most often was the Captain himself. She always wondered why, but never questioned him about it. But the more he came, the more they talked, the more they got to know one another better, the more they started to develop feelings without even knowing. (Y/n) knew she had overcome these feelings, and she wanted to tell Levi so badly. But she never got the courage to. Until one day, she came clean with him and told him how she felt. After the confession, he just left. (Y/n) thought she ruined it for herself and cried quietly that day. A few days past after that, with him not coming down to see her which saddened her even more. A day later he comes back, walking quickly over to the tank and placing a loving kiss on her lips. She was shocked at first before she started to kiss him back. So now they were a couple from then on, with her eventually turning into a human with the help of some of her fellow Sirens who supported her. Levi proposed to her a couple of years later after she turned human. (Y/n) said yes, they got married, had kids, and they all lived happily ever after! THE END!
