"Now, Levi. We will be heading to the banquet at around six. And I need you to be on your best behavior." Erwin informs Levi.

"Tch. When am I not? It's the brats that need to be on their best behavior." Levi scoffs.

"That's true. Since they are still new cadets." Erwin says nodding,"Anyways, as I said. We'll be leaving at around six and everyone needs to be ready by then."

"Of course." Levi says with a nod. Erwin returns it as he left his office and to his own. Levi clicks his tongue, not wanting to go to the banquet but having no choice but to do so. He stands from his desk and went to get dressed up.

{Time Skip}

Everyone waited outside for their carriages to arrive. Of course to Levi's irritation, the cadets were goofing off and restless.

"Oi! In lines and rows."He growls at them. They immediately stiffen at the sound of his voice and they quickly did as he said and saluted. "Tch..."He rolled his eyes slightly as he fixed his cravat.

Soon the carriages arrived and everyone went into their assigned carriage. Levi stepped into a carriage followed by Hanji and Erwin behind him. He sat down as Erwin and Hanji sat across from him next to each other.

The carriage rocked back and forth as it started to move and the sounds of a horse's clip clop was heard. Levi stared out the window with his arms crossed.

"Hey, Shorty! Don't look so down! It's a banquet! And at banquets, you're supposed to smile!"Hanji exclaimed excitedly and loudly.

"Tch. You don't have to yell. And besides, when do I ever smile?"He asks coldly with a brow raised.

"Who knows! You might see someone at your interest~!"She giggles. Levi rolls his eyes and scoffed slightly. Erwin chuckles a little.

"She's right. You might never know if find that special someone at the banquet. I mean, there are going to be well-dressed women there."Erwin says with a slight smirk.

"Tch. Fucking filthy women."Levi growls slightly.

"Beautiful women!"Hanji says.

"Disgusting women."He says with a scowl.

"Well-mannered women."Erwin says.

"When they try to lay their disgusting hands on me."Levi scoffs.

Hanji sighs and facepalms, knowing there was nothing else to convince him.

"I just get this banquet over with and get back to HQ."Levi grumbles.

"Don't worry, you will. Just enjoy yourself while we're there."Erwin suggests. Levi sighs.

"Alright. Whatever you say."

{Time Skip}

The Survey Corps arrived to the banquet. Everyone took their seats. People were talking and laughing as they drank champagne and wine. Levi sat in his seat, glaring coldly at everyone there.

Soon the host of the banquet announced dinner and everyone took their seats once more.

"Thank you all for coming this evening. I hope you all enjoy your meal and as you eat, why not put some music on. Miss (L/n)?"The host says.

A girl in her twenties, (h/l) (h/c) hair, (e/c) eyes, and fair (s/c) skin walked up on the stage with a black dress. It reached down to her feet but had no difficulty walking up the stage, it showed the outline of her curves and legs. She faced the whole audience and bowed slightly as everyone clapped.

She gave a small smile as she walked over to a piano, she sat down on the bench and cracked her fingers. She took a few deep breaths and spread her fingers out over the keys. And began to play.

[Play the music]

Everyone began to eat and talk quietly amongst themselves so they could listen to the music as they ate. Levi looked at her, his eyes slightly shining by looking at her and how her fingers danced over the keys. Hanji glanced at him, taking notice of his sudden interest. She giggles and leans over to him.

"That's (F/n) (L/n). She's one of the best pianists here. Even in this time of crisis with the Titans and all, she could play music that can relax anyone and be at peace for the time being. She's doing well with that here at a banquet."Hanji informs him quietly. Levi slowly nods, still staring at the pianist up on stage.

"(Y/n)...."He says quietly to himself, letting the name roll off his tongue. He watched as her fingers played each key. With such a carefree mood, a small smile on her face as she played. The more he took in every detail of this woman, the more he started to slowly fall for her.

Dinner went on with the music playing. Levi watched the pianist as he ate with great interest. Soon enough the song was over just as dinner was too. Everyone applauded as she stood from her seat and politely bowed. She then walked off the stage. Levi watched her and stood from his seat.

"Where ya going, shorty?"Hanji asks curiously. Erwin looks at him confusingly as well.

"Just need to go and use the w.c."Was all he said as he left the table. But he didn't need to go to the lavatory, he needed to see the pianist.

He politely pushed his way through the crowd and saw the same girl standing near the bar, with a glass of wine. She takes small sips as she looked around and watched everyone enjoy themselves.

He noticed that she was by herself and smirked slightly to himself as he walked over to her, he takes a glass of champagne on his way over to her. He was then behind her as he cleared his throat,"Oi."

She jumped slightly at the sudden voice and turned around to find the source. She sees a man with raven hair made into a undercut. He had steel blue eyes. A nice structured face with a scowl. She gulps slightly.

"H-Hello, sir."She says quietly. Despite the noises of other people talking heard all around them, he could still hear her quiet voice.

"I saw you up on stage. Playing the piano."He states bluntly. She nods slightly.

"That's me."Once again, quietly.

"I jut want to say that you played well."He says.

She blushes slightly and looked away from him embarrassingly,"Th-Thank you, sir..."

He clicked his tongue as he used two finger to pick her chin up so she could look directly at him. This makes her blush even more.

"(F/n) (L/n), right?"

She nods,"Yes, sir..."

"I'm Levi. And just call me Levi."He says. Her eyes widen slightly.

"L-Levi? As in, Humanity's Strongest?"

"Tch. What do you think?"He says scowling slightly,"Anyways, you played amazingly well up there."

She smiled slightly and blushed some more,"Thank you, s-I mean, Levi..."She blushes a little more and he smirked.

"Hm,"He hummed to himself as he looked at her with a slight smirk,"Music to my ears..."
