A pupil in the school is a smart bookworm as they would call you. Your a nerd. A smart person who knows where your future brain will take you. Heck, you might leave high school and enter the college you want to go into. Unlike someone who's a little jealous of your outstanding privileges. His name was Levi Ackerman, a popular student in Maria High and A/B student. He was a rival to you and develop a crush on you when he first layed eyes on you as a noble student in this school. What made it difficult is that you are not the girl a man would fall in love in a short term for a cheater or a whore. Such as for the popular girls who are like that and not like you for certain reasons.

"Hey nerd!" You look to see Dasha walking over to you and her friends

"Y- Yes?" You stuttered.

"Do my homework! "She shoved her homework against you as you dropped it on the floor.

"I'm sorry. I don't do others work who need to learn them."

"Don't lecture me, bitch. Do it!" She said as you felt a hand on your shoulder.

"Oi, are these girls giving you a hard time?" You look to see Levi as you nodded.

"I didn't -"

"Levi! Don't hang around with that nerd." The second girl Polly said.

"Tch, so what? Your just jealous that she's smarter than you damn brats." He said as they were surprised about his attitude.

You were surprised that he was standing up for you and its something no one has ever done for you. Other than Eren or Jean.

"You okay? "He asked making you look over to his direction.

"Y- Yeah. Thank you." You said.

"It was no problem, _______." He said.

"Y- You know me?" You asked.

"Tch, of course I know you. We're in the same class." He said with his arms crossed.

That's right! You knew that Levi was in your class because you thought he never payed any attention to you.

"Oh! Well, I never notice you in my class." You said rubbing your neck nervously.

"Its fine. I've notice that your smartest people in this school like me for instance." He said.

"Well its good not to be the only need around here." You said in relief.

"Don't get too comfortable around me, brat. We are just rivals if you didn't know." Levi said as you blinked surprised.

"Rivals? I never thought-" He cut you off.

"We're rivals because you have a smart mind to open up to others. Your brain system has the function of lectures written inside you." He said.

"What about you? You've been lectured many times, haven't you?" You snapped.

"Tch, listen _____, I'm not going to fight you right this minute. For now, we are nothing more than  rivals and that's final. "He stated.

"Would a rival do this?" You said as Levi tilt his head confused as you pecked his cheek.

"You-"

"See you in class, Levi!" Running to your class leaving a blushing Levi behind.

"Damn brat." He smirked.
