As soon as you got back to HQ, you had to start training immediately, which explains why you are hanging in mid-air with the 3dmg.

"See, I told you already, something like this is easy." You say, as you lower yourself next to Levi and the rest of the group.

"Tch, we still need to see if you can handle in killing titans.' Levi says, walking to the next training area.

You are standing at the edge of the woods where the titan dummies are.

"Fine, tell me when your ready." You say as you get into position.

"Ready........Set............Begin!" Hanji shouts.

You shoot your wires into a nearby tree, you fly through the woods as the first titan dummy appears, you slice the back of the makeshift neck perfectly, you move on to the next one, then next one. Pretty soon almost all the dummies have been taken out, when you land next to Hanji.

"Wow (F/N), your amazing!" Eren exclaims.

"Uh, thanks, I guess." You say.

You then walk over to Hanji and ask

"Am I done yet?"

"Almost, we still need to see if your good at hand to hand combat." Hanji says.

"Oh, who will I be fighting?" You ask curiously.

"Me." Levi says stepping.

"Then this should be fun." You say walking over to the training grounds.

You and Levi face off against each other. Levi gets into his fighting position and you get into yours. You and Levi then begin to circle each other. Levi was the first to attack. He charged at you, trying to knock you off your feet, but you dodge. You then try and punch his stomach, but he blocks it. Levi tries kicking your head, but you managed to duck at the last second. You quickly sweep Levi's legs out from under him, and try to pin him down, You let your guard down a bit believing that you have won, but he hooks the back of you leg, causing you to fall back. Levi takes this opportunity to pin you down. He then leans down and says "Never let your guard down, brat." Before getting up and leaving.

However, when he turned his back on you, you took the chance to grab his ankle, causing him to fall face first in the ground. You then pin him down and say "Never turn your back on your enemy." Before getting up.

"Fair enough." Levi mutters, sweeping the dust of his pants.

"Wow (F/N) your really good at hand-to-hand combat, how did you get so good?" Petra asks.

"Oh, well, I had to find a way to defend myself in the woods." You say.

"Well, that explains the hand-to-hand combat, but that doesn't explain how your so good at the 3dmg." Gunther states.

"That's simple, all you have to do is balance and you should be good." You say as if its the simplest thing in the world.

Everybody just stares at you like an idiot.

'What did I say something wrong?" You ask, and that's when Hanji suddenly burst out laughing, leaving you confused.

"Anyway, its about time we head in, its almost time to eat." Eld says.

As soon as you heard this your ears perked up and your tail was waging from side to side.

"Alright, lets go!" You say enthusiastically as you leave to the mess hall. Everybody sweat-drops at you sudden change in attitude at the mention of food.

"She's an odd one." Gunther mutters and everyone nods.

"Hey, I heard that!" You shout a distance away, startling nearly everyone.

You were currently sitting at the table with everyone from squad Levi, and Hanji.

You suddenly feel eyes staring at you as you eat, you look up to see that everyone is staring intently at you.

"Is there a problem?" You ask, making everyone jump, except for Levi.

"N-Not at all." Eren stutters.

"Well, there must be if all of you is staring at me." You state.

"We were just wondering if we can touch your ears and tail." Hanji says.

You give a long sigh before saying "If I do will you guys stop staring? Its making me uncomfortable." You say and nearly everyone nods in agreement before getting up from the table to where you are.

Petra was the first to come up, she hesitantly reached up and touched your ears.

"Wow, they're so soft!" She exclaims.

"Really! Let me feel 'em." Hanji says excitedly.

'These are very odd people.' You think to yourself, as they continue to touch your ears and tail.

After a few minutes of this going on, everyone is now seated.

"What's so interesting about my ears and tail?" You suddenly ask them.

"Well, its not everyday that someone appears, that has wolf ears and tail." Gunther says feeding his new wolf pup.

"Have you guys named you new companions yet?" You ask.

"Actually I have, I named mine Hikaru." Eld said.

"I named mine Tsukiko." Petra says.

"I named min Amaya." Gunther states.

" Tch, I decided on the name Isamu." Auruo says.

"I named mine Katsu." Eren says.

You couldn't help but laugh at the names they gave them.

"W-What's so funny?" Eren asks.

"N-Nothing, its just t-that the meaning of t-the names fit t-them too well." You said in-between fits of laughter.

"Why, what are meaning of the names?" Hanji asks.

"Well the name 'Katsu' means 'victory', the name 'Hikaru' means 'light or radiance', the name 'Tsukiko' means 'moon child', the name 'Amaya' means 'night rain', and the name 'Isamu' means 'courage or bravery'." You explained.

"I see, I guess they do fit them a little too well." Petra says smiling.

After a few minutes of random chatter, Levi finally interrupts by saying "We have an expedition coming up in a few days."

"That's right the 57th expedition." Hanji says.

"(F/N) will be joining in on this expedition, so I hope you have no complaints cadet." Levi mocks.

"I have no complaints about this Captain." You mock back.

The way the two of you were staring at each other, it looked like electricity was gathering between you two.

"A-Anyway we should get to bed, its getting quite late." Petra says trying to break you and Levi up, before a fight can ensue.

"Which reminds me, where will I be sleeping?" You ask.

"In the cellar in the basement with Yeager." Levi states.

"You joking, right?" You ask.

"I don't joke." Levi says.

"Then you must be out of your mind, because there is no way in hell that I'm sleeping in the cellar." You say.

"Then you could sleep in the stables." Levi suggests.

"Tch, fine, I prefer sleeping outside, rather inside instead." You say as you storm off towards the stables, leaving everyone shocked.

"Tch, annoying brat." Levi mutters.

"Damn short ass annoying midget. I don't understand how an insufferable man such as him be humanities strongest." You mutter as you sit in a clean pile of hay.You stare at a pure black horse that is in front of you. You then pull out your sketchbook and drawing utensils from you bag, and begin sketching the horse.

"Whoever your owner is, is pretty damn lucky to have you as a partner." You mutter.

"That's corporal's horse." A voice says behind you, startling you.

"Geez, Petra you scared the hell out of me." You say.

"Sorry, I just wanted to see if your okay." She says as she sits next to you.

"I just don't understand how an ass like him can be humanities strongest soldier." You say.

Petra giggles as she says "That's everyone's first impression when they meet him, however he is a kind person."

"I figured." You say.

"Oh, how so?" She asks.

You point to the black horse and say "If he was cold-hearted then he wouldn't have taken such good care of him."

"I guess your right, which reminds me I wanted to ask you something." Petra says.

"Ask away." You reply.

"I was wondering if you could talk to animals, considering you can turn into a wolf and all." She asks shyly.

"To a certain extent, yes, but its not like I can have a normal conversation with them." You say.

"I see, oh and by the way that was a beautiful drawing you had going." Petra suddenly says.

"Thanks, usually I would draw simple things like flowers, birds, or anything that catches my interest. It helps me calm down." You say.

"But I am curious on how you got it, I mean since you never did encounter humans before." She says.

"Oh, my mom used to go into town and buy me sketchbooks and drawing utensils." You say as you smile at the memory.

"What happened to them?" Petra asks.

"Well, lets see, it was like any other day and I guess a few humans found out what we were, because a bunch of men burst through the door, they shot my father in front of me, my mother, and my older sister (S/N). They then shot my mother, my sister then managed to almost all of them, but my sister was gravely injured in the process, she died of the injuries a few days later. I was left alone at the age of nine, I had to figure out how to survive, so I took only a few valuable, like this sketchbook, drawing utensils, my knife, and a few other things, I lived alone in the woods for a long time. Then you guys came, and you know the rest." You say.

"I see, I so sorry." Petra says.

"For what, you weren't the one who killed them, besides only one of the people who killed my family managed to get away." You say.

"What happened to the one that got away?" Petra asks.

"Dunno, I don't even know his name, all I know is what he looks like." You say.

"What would happen if you meet him again?" Petra asks.

"Dunno, but its time for you to head inside, its pretty late." You say trying to avoid the conversation.

"I guess your right, well I talk to you tomorrow." Petra says and leaves.

After Petra disappears inside you shout out "I know your there Levi, might as well come out!"

"Tch, how long did you know I was there?" He asks.

"Since you first stepped outside." You say.

"How-" Before Levi could finish you interrupt him.

"Remember I am able to turn into a wolf, that means I have better sense of smell than humans."

"Did you hear our conversation?" You ask.

"Every word." He replied with.

"I see." Was all you said.

"So what would happen if you met the one who slaughtered you family again?" Levi asks.

"Like I said I don't know. A part of me wants to forget about him and go on with my life, and the other part want to track him down and rip him limb from limb. But, I will tell you this my family sacrificed their lives for me to live, and I don't want their sacrifice to be in vain, so I will live my life to the fullest everyday." You say.

"I see." Was all Levi said.

"You know, I also lost people who were dear to me." Levi suddenly says.

"Oh really, who?" You ask.

"A girl with red hair and green eyes, her name was Isabel, and a male with sandy-blond hair and grey eyes, his name was Farlan." Levi said.

"I see. Ya'know my mom once told me that people don't really die, their spirits turn into stars and watch from above, waiting for the time when they are needed." You say as Levi just stares at you.

"Its stupid, I know, but I always looked up at the stars, trying to figure out who was who." You say.

"Its not that stupid." Levi mutters.

"What was that?" You ask not really paying attention.

"It nothing, but are you really going to be sleeping in here?" He suddenly asks.

"Yeah, I mean I have no problem with it, I mean I lived in a cave for God knows how long, so I think I can handle sleeping out here." You said.

"If you can handle this, then why can't you sleep in the basement?" Levi asks.

"I don't like feeling like I'm trapped, and being down there makes me feel like I'm being imprisoned, besides I was planing to sleep outside anyways, its very peaceful and I can look at the stars as I sleep." You say as you lay back on the clean hay.

"Tch, your an idiot." Levi says.

"Says the person who came to look for the idiot." You shot back.

"Tch, whatever, I'm going back inside." Levi says.

"Well, goodnight then." You say to him, only receiving a nod in response.

'I know just what to do now.' You think as you sit up and grab your sketchbook once more and flipped to a blank page.

'Tch, why the hell did I just decide to share my past with her.' I think to myself.

'Whatever, whats done is done.' I think as I climb into bed.
