After being blinded by that bright light, you open your eyes and see something that stuns you.
In the distance you see Levi slumped over crying.
You quickly make your way over, but when you stand in front of him, you stop dead in your tracks.
There, in Levi's arms, is you.
Well, your body at least.
"No way......I died?" You say to yourself, but no one hears you.
You suddenly feel someone tap on your shoulder from behind. You snap your head around, and what you see makes your eyes widen.
There standing in front of you is you family, and two people standing beside them, but you quickly recognised who they are.
"Y-You must be Isabel and Farlan." You say and they both nod their heads.
"That means I'm dead, right?" You ask.
Suddenly, your father spoke.
"Yes and no." He said.
"What does that mean?" You ask, earning a slap on the back of the head by you older sister.
"Ow! What was that for!?" You shout.
"Let him finish, idiot." She scolds, but she has a smile on her face as she does so.
"Anyways, as I was saying. Yes, you are dead, but you have a choice." He says.
"And what choice is that?" You ask.
The red-headed girl that Levi said was Isabel, spoke up.
"Well, you could either come with us to the other side, or you could choose to go back to Levi!" She exclaims.
"I......can go back?" You question.
"Yes, so which do you choose?" Your sister asked.
You take a glance back at the crying Levi, and then turn back towards everyone else.
"I think you already know which choice I'm gonna make." You say.
"Yeah, also before you leave I want grandchildren!" You mother exclaims.
You blush at the statement.
"Mom! We haven't even done anything yet!" You yell.
You then pull everyone into a hug.
"I'm gonna miss you all." You say as tears begin to prick the corner of your eyes.
"Yeah, we're gonna miss you too, but you will see us one day. Hopefully not too soon, but when your old and wise." You father says.
"Tell big bro we said hi!" Isabel yelled.
You nod and say "I will don't worry!"
Soon your body begins to fade, and your once again surrounded in darkness.
____________Levi's POV____________
I continued to keep my head down as my body was shaking from trying to keep my sobs under control.
I then feel something lightly stroke my hair.
My head head snaps up, and I see something that I couldn't believe.
(F/N) was awake and had a weak smile on her face.
She then said in a very weak voice "Hey Levi, I'm back.".
New tears come to my eyes as I hug her tightly. I then choked out "Welcome back."
I then remember that she was wounded.
"WE NEED A DOCTOR!!!" I shout.
Everyone returns their attention back to us, and couldn't believe what they were seeing, but soon snapped out of it. They all began rushing around trying to find Hanji, or a nurse.
Soon enough Hanji shows up and says "We need to take her to the infirmary and fast!" She exclaims, and I quickly pick her up bridal style, and rush towards the infirmary, everybody making way for us.
----------------Time Skip----------------
Its been a few weeks since the incident, and (F/N) is healing perfectly. The nurses said that she should be allowed to leave around sometime today.
After the incident, Necator was charged with attempted murder, and assault against a Survey Corps member, and was put to death. Though (F/N) interfered and got the guy life behind bars. Though, I will never understand why, but I still love her either way. She also told me about what happened when her heart had stopped beating, even the part where Isabel and Farlan told her to say 'hi' to me, and how her mother wanted grandchildren.
The paperwork that were recovered from Eren's basement helped us defeat the titans more easily, and with the help of Reiner and Bertholdt, we had an even easier time in defeating the titans. Though, there are still quite a few of them still around, there is an even less casualty number than before.
However, when (F/N) is out of the infirmary today, I plan on proposing, though it took a while for me to find just the right ring for her, I am ready to settle down with (F/N).
'I just hope that she says yes.' I think to myself as I make my way towards the infirmary.
As I get closer and closer to the infirmary, my negative thoughts keep surfacing more and more.
I finally make it in front of the infirmary, as I open the door I hide the ring in my pants pocket. I look up and see (F/N) standing beside the bed.
"Hey (F/N), how are you feeling?" I ask.
"Hungry." Was her simple reply.
I smile and say "Then let's head to the mess hall."
She nods her head, and she follows me to the mess hall.
Once we get there we grab our food, and sit in our usual spots. However, I quickly pull out the ring.
____________Your POV_____________
You sit down and look over to Levi. You see him pull something out, as he gets down on one knee.
You cover your mouth with both hands as Levi speaks.
"(F/N) (L/N), you annoy me more than anyone possible......but I want to spend every irritating fucking moment with you, because I love you and I want to spend my life with you." Levi says.
All you could do is nod your head as you hug Levi tightly.
You then hear everyone clap, you look up to see everyone clapping.
You start to laugh as tears slide down your face.
"You know Levi, I don't know whether I should be insulted, or happy." You mutter.
"Tch, be happy that I proposed to you, you know that I'm not good with all this feelings crap." He mutters as he looks away.
You give a light chuckle while saying "I know, I love you too, jerk."
You then kiss Levi, in front of everyone.
After you two break the kiss, Levi whispers in your ear.
"You know what, (F/N)?" He asks.
"What?" You ask back.
"Your mother wants grandchildren, so why don't we work on that." He says, causing your face to go red.
He then picks you up, and slings you over his shoulder, and begins to walk towards his bedroom.
"Ehh, Levi, where are you going? We need to celebrate!" Hanji whines.
"Leave them. They should go and enjoy themselves in privacy, we'll celebrate with them tomorrow!" Gunther shouts loud enough for us to hear.
"That sounds good to me, just be sure no one comes to my office!" Levi shouts as your face keeps getting redder.
"Will do captain!" You hear everyone in the mess hall shout, causing your face to go a darker shade of red.
