___________Levi's POV____________
I awoke to the sound of growling. I pry my tired eyes open. I blink a few times, trying to make the blurry world around come into focus. Once my eyes adjust, the first thing that I notice is that (F/N) isn't beside me.
I become panicked, and start looking around, only to find that (F/N) is still in her wolf form, and she seems to be snarling at something, her teeth are bared, showing just how sharp they are. The hairs on her back are standing up, while her ears are pointed back. Her tail swishes from side to side in a threatening way.
I cautiously step towards her, and what I see is a small 7 meter titan near the cave. I step closer towards (F/N). She must've known what I was trying to do, because she steps protectively in front of me, eyes never leaving the titan.
The titan then tries to get closer, but (F/N) snaps her jaws threateningly at it.
The titan pays no mind to her and continues to walk forward.
(F/N) let's out a vicious snarl and lunges towards the titan.
"(F/N) don't! Get back here!" I shout at her, but she ignores me.
She charges at the titan, the beast still ignoring her existence, and trying to come towards me.
She dashes towards the titan and lunges at it, jumping on its arm, that was reaching out towards me. She then jumps up onto its shoulders and bites the nape, taking a large chunk out of its flesh.
The titan falls to the ground, steam rising off its body as it behind to disintegrate.
(F/N) walks towards me, as soon as she gets up to me sits down, looking like a puppy trying to be praised.
"Tch, stupid brat, I told you not to attack!" I shout, and as soon as the words leave my mouth, she looks heartbroken.
She let's her head fall dejectedly, as her tail stops wagging, she then gets up and goes inside the cave, with her tail between her legs.
'She gets this upset if I scold her.' I think as I continue to see the depressing aura surround (F/N).
"H-Hey, its not the end of the world, I mean you just did what you thought was right. Besides, I was just worried about your safety, that's why I yelled." I quickly say, trying to cheer her back up.
And it must've worked, because as soon as I said this, her head perked up, and she started to wag her tail happily from side to side.
'She really is like a puppy.' I think, but then an idea comes to mind.
"Hey (F/N)." I call out and she immediately responds with a loud bark.
"Do you think you could run all the back to the walls?" I ask and nods.
I grab both my maneuvering gear, as well as (F/N)'s.
(F/N) gently picks me up, and starts running.
I look at the sky. Its still dark out, and would be sunlight within about four to five hours.
'We should reach the walls by sunrise then.' I think.
----------------Time Skip-----------------
Its been about two hours since we started running, and (F/N) looks like she is about spent, but she keeps on running.
"Do you need a break?" I suddenly ask, she shakes her head side to side, signaling a 'no' from her.
After about another hour, we bigin to see the large walls over the horizon. The sun barely peaking over the edge.
'We're almost there.' I think.
I look to see how (F/N) is doing, she looks like she's about to pass out from exhaustion.
"We're almost there (F/N), just a little more." I say to her, as soon as she hears this, she picks up her speed.
After about an hour and a half, we finally make it to the front of the wall.
I see people on top of the wall, I quickly pull out my flare gun and grabbed a flare, I load it, and fired it upwards.
I see them looking around, until they finally spot us. I then hear them shout for them to open the gates, luckily we arrived as soon as the gates open, and (F/N) rushes inside.
Once inside, she carefully let's me down, before she collapses to the ground.
She transforms back into a human, I quickly run over to her, and cover her with my cape. Her body is covered in sweat, and her breathing consists of heavy panting.
"You did a great job, you can rest now." I say soothingly.
She gives a slight nod before closing her eyes.
I then pick her up bridal style, and begin to walk towards the direction of HQ, ignoring everyone around me.
'She pushed herself to the point of passing out, she really is a devoted person. I guess that's one of the many reasons why I fell in love with her.' I thought as my eyes soften at her sleeping face.
"Captain Levi!" I hear a people call my name and I look up, I see my squad and everyone else running towards us.
When they finally reach me, they started to bombard me with questions.
"Tch, I'll explain everything later, but for now I need to get (F/N) to the infirmary to rest." I say, and everyone now puts their attention on (F/N).
They all then nod, rushing around in order to bring a horse and cart in order to ride to HQ.
-------------Small Time Skip-------------
We finally reach HQ, and (F/N) is immediately brought to the infirmary.
The nurses say that she should be fine if as long as she rests.
I then report everything to Erwin and the others. I even told them how the 7 meter titan ignored  (F/N) in her wolf form, which excited Hanji.
After reporting, I quickly make my way towards the infirmary, once there I make my way over to (F/N) 's bed, and see her sleeping peacefully. I pull up a chair and sit beside her bed, I then slip my hand into hers.
"You can be really reckless, you know that." I mutter, as I kiss her forehead.
