You were sleeping in your bed, and you had to admit, it was a hell of a lot more comfortable then when you were sleeping in the cave, or in the stables.
However, something awoke you from your slumber, it was an aweful metallic smell, not only that, but you felt something wet on your chest and stomach, you pry your eyes open and lift the covers to see what it was.
___________Levi's POV____________
I was sitting at my desk, and I just finished my last paperwork of the day.
'Dammit, that took forever, its already late at night.' However, as soon as I thought this I heard a bloodcurdling scream coming from (F/N)'s room. I quickly run from my desk and over to (F/N)'s room, I slam the door open, and what I see leaves me speechless.
I see (F/N) cowering in the corner of the room covering her mouth with both of her shaking hands.
I quickly run over to where she was and see the crimson blood on her (F/C) nightgown.
"Oi, (F/N) what's wrong!? Are you hurt!?" I yell at her, but she doesn't say anything, instead she points with a shaking finger over at her bed. I cautiously walk over and pull the covers back, the metallic sent of blood hitting me like a brick wall. I look down and see a large decapitated wolf head.
Then I hear pounding feet on the floor.
"Hey, what happened!? I heard a scream!" Eld shouts as everyone soon comes to see what's going on.
They see what I'm looking at, and then look over at the trembling woman in the corner.
I then proceed to explain what the happened, while I was doing this, Hanji took (F/N) away, most likely to get her clean up, as soon as they left, all the girls seemed to have followed them, even Mikasa decided to tag along.
After explaining the situation, Erwin decided to speak up.
"Are you sure this isn't some kind of sick prank?" He asks.
"Its not." The voice of (F/N) speaks up behind us, making all of us turn and look at her.
"What do you mean?" Erwin asks calmly.
"This is a warning." She says.
"A warning about what?" Gunther asks.
"Its a warning to people like me, its saying that you are being hunted." She says darkly.
"Do you know someone who would do this?" Eren asks.
"Yes, I do. In fact this same thing happened before he slaughter of my family." (F/N) says.
"Who is he?" Eld asks.
Necator, and I have to say his name fits him perfectly." She says.
"Why, what does the name mean?" Armin asks.
"Its Latin for slayer." (F/N) said and the atmosphere in the room immediately tenses.
"I want everybody to search for any clues as to where he might be!" Erwin shouted and everyone starts to move in order to find any clues.
I look over and see that (F/N) has a pained expression on her face.
____________Your POV____________
'Shit, I don't know what to do, what am I going to do now?' All these thoughts go through your head, and as you think these thoughts, memories of the night of the murder replays in you head.
You start to hyperventilate.
"Calm down, its going to be alright." You hear Levi say next to you.
"B-But, I don't know what to do! I don't want that night to happen again!" You shout.
"When you say that night,do you mean the night your family was killed?" He asks and you nod your head.
"Its not going to be alright." You say as you continue to hyperventilate.
"(F/N), take deep calm breaths." Levi instructs and you try to do it to the best of your ability.
After a few minutes of taking deep breaths, you are no longer hyperventilating.
"Levi, I'm scared." As soon as you said that, Levi brought you into a tight hug.
"Its going to be alright, you have me by your side, not only that, but you also have your friends here to help you." He says calmly as he stokes your (H/L) (H/C) hair.
After a few minutes of him doing this you fall asleep, and the last thing you remember is feeling something warm on your forehead.
____________Levi's POV____________
I was stroking (F/N)'s hair, when I hear her calm even breaths, and light snoring.
'She finally fell asleep.' I thought as I gave her a slight kiss on her forehead. I then picked her up and carried her to my room, I then gently lay her down on my bed, and walk back out to my office. As soon as I did I hear soft knocking on my door.
I open the door, only to be greeted by Erwin.
"Did you find anything?" I ask.
"Unfortunately, all we found was the body of the wolf, which was disposed of in the woods." He says.
"We need to catch this bastard, and fast." I mutter, causing Erwin to raise an eyebrow.
"You must care for her greatly then. I have never seen you this anxious before." He says smiling slightly.
I just clicked my tongue in response.
"I have never seen (F/N) panic before, and it was unsettling." I mutter.
"Well, that's what love does to you, I guess." Erwin says.
I just shuffle uncomfortably in place.
"Don't worry, we'll catch this guy, before anything happens." Erwin reassures.
"I hope your right, if this guy can break into this place and leave without anyone noticing, then he must be skilled at killing, just like his name implies" I say.
"Yeah, that's why I'm going to have her be with someone 24/7, and I also want her to have a roommate." Erwin says.
"I can handle with being her guard and roommate." I say.
Erwin gives a slight chuckle before saying "I knew you would take up the offer. Well, that's all I came here to say, have a goodnight, Levi." Erwin then leaves.
I softly close the door and make my way towards my bedroom.
I then take off my boots, and change into my nightgown, I then crawl into bed, next to (F/N).
And with that I let myself fall into the depths of sleep.
