"I honestly love you, I don't know what I was doing with Petra." My eyes widened as I looked at the male who sat beside me. I sat up quickly, "she mostly pushed the whole marriage thing, I wanted to leave her." He then looked at me. "Seeing you with Jean made me angry, I wanted to cut him like I did the Titans. Every time I hurt you, I was trying to show that, that I wanted you more than anything." He tapped his fingers on his leg as he got up, his leg seemed to be better. "Don't tell anyone I told you that, this whole conversation stays between you and me, got it lieutenant." My eyes widened as I smiled, "wait, so I'm now one?" He just walked away as I followed after him happily.

We got into a carriage and went into town, seeing Erwin as he waited to greet us. We both got out, Erwin looking at me with a smile. "Nice to see you made it Y/n, and you too Levi." He nodded, giving his cold stare. There was a plan of luring the female Titan in but everyone was skeptical on how it would work. The military police showed up, a gun to Erwin's face as he got his gear out. I got angry, "well, why don't you go do our job for us then you cowards?" I screamed, they all fell silent as they lowered their guns. Then they all directed towards me, "I'll kill you on the spot." Levi stepped in, "you kill her, and I'll do the same to you." They looked terrified, backing down. Levi looked at Erwin, "she is my second in command, I have just moved her to lieutenant." Erwin gave a smile, "that's great, will she be taking a medical leave with you?" He asked, looking at the bloodied bandages still wrapped around my head. He nodded, "we will keep eye over each other as we recover." He nodded, then after the female Titan was finally taken in. A piece of the wall broke. A Titans face stared back at us, "there are Titans in the wall?" I shouted, confused on this. Levi looked at me, "it seems so."

I left with Levi going back to headquarters. It was a silent trip, I didn't even look at him.

We went to our rooms, I got changed, taking off my bandages to look at my head. Dry blood covered my hair and forehead, a stitch went around my forehead. I frowned, I heard a knock on my doorway as Levi entered. "Let me see it," I turned to him as he inspected it. His cold fingers hurt on my head, he then softly kissed it. "Please don't ever die on me," He whispered. His lips nearly touching my forehead again, for someone who was a clean freak, he certainly didn't mind touching my dry blood. "I won't try to, but you can't die on me either." He pulled his face away, giving a small smile. His smile was very rare to see, "I can't leave you like that." I put my hand on his cheek, he leaned into my hand. "You should smile more, it's cute on you." He gave a chuckle, "I'll only smile for you." He then leaned down and kissed me. Both of his hands went onto my neck and slid into my hair, softly pulling it. I pulled away, "ow, that hurt." I whined, then accidentally bumping his leg. He groaned, holding his leg as we both were in pain. "I'll go back to my room and get ready for bed," He spoke, I grabbed his arm. "Could you lay here with me?" He looked at me in shock, "I thought you'd never ask."
