I rode with the scouts to the court house, Levi leading the way. I was beside him on my horse as his green cape covered his face. I didn't dare speak a word to him, only looking down at the horse I was riding on.

We went in, waiting on the right side of the judge as the military police was across from us. I saw my boyfriend, Jean Kirschtein. He had joined the military police as I was a scout. "Your boyfriend is a coward," Levi spoke quietly as I stood beside him. "Yeah, your girlfriend isn't the bravest either." He kicked me swiftly in the shin, making me bend down in pain. "I'd watch that tongue, now, behave." The trial had started, the poor boy was being humiliated in front of everyone. Levi had went to the boy and started beating him. "Levi!" I yelled, everyone going silent as he stopped and looked at me. "Leave him alone! He's just a boy!" He smirked and kicked him in the gut. Then kneed Eren in his face a few times before stomping on his head. "The only way he'll learn discipline is through pain." I ran out to Levi, him stopping as he turned to me and kicked me in the gut. "Why are you doing this to him, he's a child!" Levi stopped, standing over us as he eyed Eren. "If I may, he can rejoin the scouts and we'll use him. If he gets out of control, I'll kill him myself." The judge nodded as Jean ran towards me. Levi taking Eren and making him stand up after the beating. "Are you okay?" He asked frantically, the others looking disgusted. "How can a scout and someone from the military police be together, ones a coward and the other is insane?" Someone on the military police side asked. He frowned, "I've been thinking and, I'm going to be a scout with you." He helped me up and walked with me to my horse. Levi getting an extra horse to put Eren on. "Well, we have to head to headquarters so I'll see you when I get back." He kissed me and I hugged him tightly. "I'm going to miss you," He spoke quietly then walked away to be with his group. Levi gave a glare, getting on his horse and pulling his hood up. "Let's go y/n, we don't have all day." I nodded, getting on my horse and following behind Levi.
