Chapter 33

____________Your POV_____________
You ran through the corridors, trying to catch up to Levi.
'Come on, where is he?' You thought, as you turned another corner.
And lo and behold, there he was, walking down the corridor, his head hung low.
"Levi!" You called out, as you ran faster, trying to catch up to him.
He stopped mid-step, not turning around to see you.
You finally managed to catch up to him.
"Levi." You called out again, but still, he remained where he was. Almost as if he was refusing to turn around.
"Levi, what's wrong? You left so suddenly." You asked.
"Tch, what's wrong? You almost died, and you ask me what's wrong?" He hisses.
"Eh?" You asked, as you backed up a few steps, as Levi suddenly turned around, his hair still obscuring his eyes.
"You would've died, and yet, you said to let you go. You had no faith that you would live. You sounded as if, you were wanting to die, and leave me behind." Levi said, his voice becoming louder with each sentence.
"What would've happened, if Hanji and Nassir didn't come when they did, huh!?" He shouts, as he walks up to you, causing you to back up, until your back hit the wall behind you.
You gaze softened, as you say, "Levi, I didn't want to die, but if I had to in order to save my friends, and you, then I would do so, without a moments hesitation."
Levi clicked his tounge, as he shouts, "But, what was the point in this!? We weren't in danger!"
"Not right now!" You shout back.
"What would've happened if the same occurrence happened later!? What if this time, I wasn't able to save anyone, and I hurt someone!? I wouldn't be able to forgive myself, especially if it was you, who I hurt! It would kill me!" You shout, tears began streaming down your face.
"And how would I feel, if you died!" He shouts, as he hugs you tightly.
"I don't want to loose you, please, don't always be so self sacrificing. It's alright to be selfish once in a while." He says, his voice barely a whisper.
You grit your teeth together, to prevent a sob from escaping, as you wrapped your arms around Levi, hugging him back, just as tightly.
"Levi, I was so scared. I didn't want to die, I didn't want to leave you, aniki, or my friends behind." You sobbed into his shirt.
Levi began to rub your back gently, trying to calm down your breaking form.
"It's okay, as long as your okay, then its alright." Levi says, as he hugs you tighter.
After a few minutes of this, you finally calm down.
"Sorry." You mutter, looking down.
"Tch, how many times do I have to say it, its fine." Levi says.
"So, does this mean I'm forgiven?" You ask.
"Hmm, how about.....no." Levi states.
"Ehh~, come on. You just said it was fine." You whine.
"Tch, just because I said it was fine, doesn't mean your instantly forgiven." Levi states, as he crosses his arms, and turns his head to the side.
That was when and idea formed into your head.
"Hey, Levi?" You called out.
"Wha-" He didn't get to finish his sentence, as you leaned over and kissed him.
After pulling back, your face was as bright as a tomato.
"A-Am I f-forgiven yet?" You stuttered.
"I don't know, I may need more convincing." Levi states.
You face became a brighter red, as you leaned forward, and once more kissed him.
"H-How a-a-about n-now?" You manage to stutter out.
Levi chuckled, as he said, "Yeah, don't want you to pass out from a simple kiss."
"N-Not my fault, that was my first kiss." You mutter, as you crossed your arms, and turned your head to the side.
"(F/N)." Levi called out.
"Ye-" as you turned your head to the side, you felt something soft brush against your lips.
"I love you." Levi said, before walking away, very quickly.
"H-Hey, say that again." You stutter, as you raced after him.
"No, and I told you not to push yourself, your still healing." Levi says, as he continues walking quickly down the hall.
"Now until you say it again." You say, smiling, as you continued your pace behind him.
"Tch, then I have no choice." Levi says, as he suddenly stops, causing you to stop behind him.
He then turns around, and lifts you up, bridal style.
"E-Eh! L-Levi put me down." You say, as you try and struggle out of his hold.
"No." Was all Levi said, as he continues his way down the corridors.
You sheepishly look up, and saw something that you would never have guessed.
Levi was blushing.
You smiled, as you though, 'He's so cute at times.'
-----------------Time Skip-----------------
It has been two years since then.
Levi and you have been nearly inseparable.
___________Levi's POV_____________
I was nervous today, can you believe it, humanities strongest, nervous about something.
I clicked my tounge, as I paced around Erwin's office.
"Come on, shorty. There's nothing to be nervous about." Hanji says, as she stands next to her husband, Nassir, whom proposed to her, exactly one year ago.
"Tch, just don't fuck up, shortass." Nassir growls.
"Tch, not helping." I growl back.
"Just go out there, and get it over with. You should know by now that there isn't anything to be afraid of." Erwin states.
"Says you." I spit harshly, earning a chuckle from Erwin.
"It's amazing that nearly all the titans are gone, thanks to (F/N) and Eren working together." Hanji suddenly states.
"Yeah, it is." Nassir states.
"Tch, can you two stop talking nonsense, and actually help me out." I growl.
"Tch, fine, you want help, here." Nassir states, as he walks up to me, and grabbed me by the collar of my shirt, before throwing me out of Erwin's office.
I went to turn back, but the door was already locked, before I had the chance to even move.
"Damn you!" I shout as I slammed my fist against the door.
I heard laughing on the other side of the door.
'Tch, some friends.' I think bitterly, as I began to walk towards the mess hall.
Before I even knew it, I was standing in front of the door.
I took a deep breath, before opening it.
I walked inside, nothing out of the ordinary, as I continued my pace towards where the woman with (H/L) (H/C) hair and (E/C) eyes, sat.
Once there, (F/N) looked up at me from her seated position.
"Oh, Levi. Is something the matter? You seem a bit tense." She says, worry lacing the sentence.
I took another deep breath, as I pulled a small black velvet box out of my pocket, and kneeled down on one knee.
"(F/N)" I began, and she covered her mouth with both of her hands.
"It takes a moment to tell someone you love them, but a lifetime to prove it. So, will you do me the honour of proving my love to you, by marrying me?" I asked.
"Yes." She sobbed, as she flung her arms around me, as I got up.
Everyone in the mess hall cheered and clapped, as we both hugged each other.
"Levi." She cried out.
"Yes?" I asked, nervous about what she's going to say.
"I'm going to be called (F/N) Ackerman, right?" She asks.
"Yes, why do you ask?" I question.
She pulls back, tears streaming down her face, while smiling, as she says, "I'm finally going to have a last name. I'm finally going to have a family."
I chuckle, as I said, "Yeah, but lets take one step at a time. We still have to have the wedding, before we can actually start a family." I say.
"But-" I began, as I leaned down so that out foreheads were touching.
"We have all the time in the world."
"Yeah, we do." She says, as we both kiss each other.
