You were currently sitting in the center of the courtroom, with a metal pole binding the chains that hold you back.
When Levi had come back, he explained what must happen before I could go back to see aniki.
You were terrified, but thanks to Levi's as well as Erwin's explanation, you calmed down a bit, but that doesn't mean that you still weren't scared, hell, you were terrified at the moment, but you kept your faith in Levi, after all, if he's like aniki, he must be a good person, right?
As you were lost in thought, you heard a deep voice call out to you.
You looked up, and saw that an elderly man was sitting in a chair, holding a small stack of papers.
"(F/N), right?" He asks.
"Y-Yes, sir." You stutter out.
"Do you have a last name?" He questions.
"N-No, sir." You say, trying to keep your trembling under control.
The elderly man raised an eyebrow as he asks, "Why is that?"
You flinch a small bit, but it went unnoticed by the large crowd around you, as you say, "I-Its a long story, a-and if you don't m-mind, I d-don't want to tell it." You mumble.
"I see, very well then, I'll go to the next question. Is it true, that you have inhuman abilities?" He asks.
You gulped harshly, as you say, "Yes, that is true."
As you said this, people began to shout and murmur about this.
"Monster!" A man that was dressed in a fancy robe shouts.
"This thing is evil, kill it now before it has a chance to kill us all!" He shouts, causing you to flinch, as tears begin to brim your eyes, but you held them back.
"Y-You wrong." You mutter, causing the whole room to go silent, as you continued to speak.
"I-Its true, I may have abilities that no human should possess, but-" You once again gulped harshly, as you continued.
"But, in the end, we are human, we are not perfect, we are alive, we try things, we make mistakes, we stumble, we fall, we get hurt, and yet, we rise again, we try again, we keep learning, we keep growing, and because of all these things, we can be thankful for this priceless opportunity called life."
You took a deep breath, as you went on.
"And as long as I continue to draw breath in this body, as long as I can still feel my heart pound in my chest, as long as I feel fear, feel happiness, feel anger, feel sadness, and feel so many new emotions that I have yet to discover, I believe that I am human. I may be a monster in someone's eyes, but I want to change that. I want to feel welcomed as someone who can finally be called human, so please, I beg of you, understand the feeling of this monster that wants to be human, and allow me to show you that I too, am a being worthy of being trusted with the words of 'being human'."
After you were done with your speech, no one made a sound, you could hear a pin drop on the room at this very moment, but as the elderly man went to open his mouth, a loud bang from outside the doors resounded.
Everyone turned their attention to the set of large doors, as they heard muffled shouts.
But, after a few moments, it too, went silent.
The doors bursts open, and reveiling someone you never expected.
Your eyes widen, as you mumbled a single word under your breath.
"Aniki."
____________Levi's POV____________
I heard the brat mumble something under her breath, and my eyes widen as I heard her say, 'Aniki.'
But, as I turned to look at her alleged 'big brother', I was shocked.
He looked exactly like me, except for the fact that he was about a foot taller than me, and the expression on his face was unreadable at the moment, but by guessing at the deadly aura surrounding him, he was pissed.
He eyes scanned the room before they landed on the chained girl in the center of the the room.
His eyes seemed to narrow further as he looked at the girl.
But, something surprising happened, I saw (F/N)'s eyes begin to glow a bright (E/C), and before any of us could do anything, the sound of the handcuffs clicking resounded in the quiet room.
(F/N) immediately got up from her kneeling position, and dashes towards the man, with a large childish smile on her face.
"Aniki!" She shouted as she jumped into the man's arms.
Everyone seemed astounded by what they just saw.
"W-What are you waiting for, shoot!" One of the MPs shouted, causing all the MPs to raise their guns and fired, before Erwin or I had the chance to stop them.
But, that was when the bullets suddenly stopped in mid air.
My eyes widen as I stare at (F/N), she was standing in front of the person, she calls 'aniki', her eyes glowing, and as her (E/C) eyes returned to normal, the bullets fell to the ground.
She then carefully walked over the bullets, and towards me.
____________Your POV_____________
As you walked towards Levi, you saw everyone stiffen, but you just ignored them, and continued your way towards Levi.
As soon as you were in front of him, you carefully grabbed him by his sleeve, and tugged.
He raised an eyebrow, but you just gave him a small smile.
____________Levi's POv____________
"I want you to meet aniki." She said, so that only I could hear.
I raised an eyebrow, but walked towards the man standing at 6 foot, 3 inches.
Once in front of him, he seemed to glare harshly at me, which I only glared back.
"Aniki, this man helped me, along with the commander of the survey corps." As soon as he turned his gaze towards (F/N), I saw it soften a bit, before glaring at me again.
"I see." He said emotionlessly.
"Aniki, could you wait here a moment, please?" (F/N) asks politely.
"Tch, fine." He says, before walking to the nearest wall, and leans on it, while crossing his arms, still glaring at me.
I looked back, and saw that (F/N) was once again in the center of the courtroom.
"S-Sorry, aniki can be a bit brutal when it come to my safety." She stutters out.
"B-But, he is a good man, and as I was about to say before I was interrupted was that I would like to join the survey corps." She says, looking at the judge with determination in her eyes.
The man raises an eyebrow, and thinks for a moment, before asking, "And what of your brother?"
"I'll join." The man says emotionlessly, still holding his position on the wall.
The elderly judge seemed to be in deep thought, before saying, "I hereby let (F/N), and her brother under the custody of the Survey Corps."
After he said that, he dismissed everyone.
(F/N) ran happily towards her brother, who looked at her with a bored expression.
"Tch, you always get yourself in some form of trouble, you know that?" He hisses, but (F/N) doesn't flinch, instead she laughs as she says, "Yeah, I know, but now I can be helpful! Besides, I can always count on you if I'm ever in trouble."
"Oi, what's you name?" I said, irritation lacing my voice.
"Tch, and why should I tell you, midget." He growls.
I glare harshly at him, and he glares back.
"Aniki, he helped me out, you should at least be a bit more nicer to him." (F/N) scolds.
"Tch, whatever." He says, as he turns his head to the side.
"Fine, can you at least introduce yourself?" She huffs, as she places her hands on her hips.
"Tch, Nassir." Was all he said.
I clicked my tounge, as I began to walk out.
"Follow me, brats." I say, before heading out the door, and into another room, where we will be explaining what is going to happen, and what their training schedules will be.
