Many days gone by...

I thought that I wouldn't be able to stand her. I only kept her because of the promise I made with nira.

Nira sees her like amber.I know that.This girl soni, her behavior...is almost like amber's . Smiles easily...cries easily.

I couldn't stand her was because of the image of amber imprinted in my mind every time I see her.

I admit I couldn't stand amber.I was just bearing with her. I only hung out with her because she was nira's niece and it made nira happy. And after that poison incident, it just made me dislike amber.

But it seems...she is different from amber. I have almost forgotten. She is soni.Not amber.

Nira...you have to remember that too.

soni: levi nii-san!!! Why didn't you say anything?

levi: I didn't want to disturb your concentration while you were sweeping my room.

soni: *smiles*.I'm done. Here's your tea and some biscuits for you.

I take a seat to my chair and picks up the biscuit and put the whole thing in my mouth. I don't want crisp to fall all over.

soni: is it nice?

I nod my head and she smiles even bigger.

*knock knock*

petra: we're ready for the field trip.

levi: I got it.

petra: oh...soni.You're here.Thanks for helping me wash my clothes.

soni: I was washing it too so yea.

petra: you helped us all.It must be hard.They said they'll repay you back by treating you to some ice cream.

soni: hehe.Its fine.

petra: its not.Come on . Don't be shy.

levi: ahem.

They both silence up and look at me.

levi: take your conversation outside.

petra: hai.Gomenasai.

soni: than I'll be going out.

Soni reisein...she seems like a really thoughtful girl. Much different than amber.

nira: oh shut up.I love it.

hanji: nira just can't stop acting girly.We all know you're not . Don't act already.

nira: what act!!! I am a girl!!!

hanji: dresses is just not you.I remember you always wore pants in the past isn't it? Suddenly changing...

nira: its not sudden!! Its a long habit already!!!

soni pov:

*giggles* nira is as energetic and enthusiastic as ever.I...may hate her a little because levi nii-san likes her.

But in my heart.... there's always be a place for her. She'll always be someone close to my heart.Not as close as levi nii-san though.

I was partnered up with levi nii-san since the team was odd number before I came in.It was supposed to be like that but...now that I'm in the team and have no partner I get to partner levi nii-san.

kyaaaa!!! Awesome!!! I get to be in close range to see levi nii-san's  cool and handsome drooling poses.

levi: try not to get yourself killed.

soni: hai.

Now...I can't just stand here.I have to try to kill some titans.

I hook my gear to the building and swing in hooking my other side of the gear to the titan's neck.  *slice* Yessss!!! I got it.That titan collapsed to the floor. Lucky I guess...for me to get it alone.

I was too early to be happy. I was standing on top of the collapsed titan while I blanked out shocked seeing myself sandwiched between 2 coming titans.

They were coming...so close!!! They're hands reaching out for me!!!

Sayonara...levi nii-san...

*booom*

The 2 titans too collapsed. Nira standing on the left one and levi nii-san on the right one.Nira came running to me.

She suddenly hugged me.

nira: are you okay?

She took a look at me amd smiled.

nira: not hurt . You're fine.

soni: nira...nee...no.Nira...I mean nira heichou...?

nira: nira is fine.

soni: I thought...you didn't like me.Why...save me?

nira: I couldn't let you die .Could I? You have to make your own choices. Don't die being one of them.Get stronger is another if you choose to stay nah.

soni: nira...

nira :that aside... *face blackens* why didn't you keep your promise?

levi: I did . She's alive.

Nira grabs onto his collar and looks at him with fierce scary eyes.I had never seen that before.It was...really scary. Levi nii-san didn't react.

nira: try harder next time.

levi: You're just being too uptight.

Nira lets go of his collar and takes in a deep breath.

nira: gomenasai...

She walks past him.

nira: keep your promise.

levi: ah.

so...that was what they were talking about that day.Nira wanted levi to promise her that he would protect me . She thought that I was amber.

That's why...levi nii-san said he won't allow me to die.

At this moment the truth stings a lot.So...levi nii-san...only protected me because of a promise....?

But...levi nii-san did treat me a lot nicer than at first.Levi nii-san did take me in on his own record.

Thinking of that...that's enough. I don't need more reasons to make me stay beside levi nii-san.

levi: hey!!!

That snapped me back.

levi: don't stand there.You want to die? Its time to return .

soni: hai !!!

I'm....kinda happy.  Nira doesn't dislike me anymore....and levi nii-san is starting to like me . Everything is finally going what I wanted.
