Personality
Quill is the definition of a mystery. Quiet, somewhat reserved and rather introverted when forced into a big group setting, he's definitely hard to get to know. He keeps people at a distance, mainly because he doesn't want to fall in love. But once you get under his shell, you'll find there's much more to him than meets the eye, you just need to put in the effort.

Strengths
Mystery Strength - Although he views it as his biggest weakness, there's no arguing that this is an unbelievably useful skill to have in a war.
Knowledge - He has a deep knowledge the lands and the species to live on them. It makes him a pretty good hunter.
Weaknesses
Teamwork - Quill prefers to work on his own and a lack of trust in others only worsens his abilities to socialise with a large group.
Quick to give up - If he gets annoyed or things aaren't going his way, he'd rather leave it and come back to it in the future than really stick to it and put in the work.

Likes
Strawberries - It reminds him of his late mother and his family home, just very wholesome moments.
Reading - Gotta get that knowledge.
Dislikes
Attention - Every introverts nightmare, being put on the spot and having everyone staring at you. Surprisingly hard to do when you're the person everyone gossips about.
Romance - Okay, he doesn't really hate romance. He's more just scared of actually falling in love with someone.

Backstory
More will be revealed as the roleplay continues, for story purposes. The most we know is that he's from the unknown lands, also receiving an invitation to the selection but not knowing exactly why he was wanted.

Personality
Rowan was brought up to be a quiet, loving girl who needs looking after. She's tried to break out of this as she got older, though it usually led to punishment. But now, with her family being distracted with more important things, she's much more laidback and enjoying watching drama happen for fun. She is just here to make fun of people and have a laugh (and maybe find someone on the same wavelength).

Strengths
Charisma  - She's grew up learning how to charm people. So that, paired with her looks and status, let's her get away with more than most.
Weaknesses
Weak - Physically, Rowan's small frame and lack of combat skills makes her easy to beat in a fight.
Naive - She's never knowing anything outside of the castle walls. Put her out on the streets or into the wild and she'll have no clue how to survive.

Likes
Parties - She loves the lighthearted atmosphere as it gives her a chance to let her hair down and cause some drama.
Drawing - She's a rather good sketcher and enjoys drawing scenes as they unfold.
Dislikes
Kharesan Empire - Given the threat they present to her family and kingdom, she's obviously not the biggest fan.

Backstory
Raised as the Kings only daughter with two older brothers, she was very much expected to behave like a Princess should. She grew up learning all a lady needs to, but not without some resistance. But now, with everyone distracted with the selection, it's finally her chance to act herself.

Personality
She use to be an easy going and loving girl, but all her struggles have left her vengeful and mature. She's confident, sometimes cocky, and finds it hard to let loose. However, if you do get to see the rare moment of her letting loose and enjoying her youth, consider yourself lucky.

Strengths
Inquisitiveness - After being left to fend for herself, she's open to learn as much as possible. This ranges from all sorts of things like swordsmanship, scouting and fighting etc.
Hand to hand combat - How else do you think she escaped her family's slaughter? She uses her speed to her advantage, and worked on her knife skills whilst in hiding.
Weaknesses
Vengeful - If reminded, she can become blinded by her sadness. She loses herself at times, and really all she needs is someone to help hold herself together.

Likes
Baked Goods - Just the smell of them puts her in a good mood. Gifting her some cookies are an easy way to her heart.
Bluebells - The flower reminds her of home as there are always large fields of them growing throughout the trees.
Dislikes
Kharesan Empire - They killed her whole family, are we surprised.
Mages - Something about magic really rubs her the wrong way, especially after some of the things she saw in the unknown lands.

Backstory
She had loved her family before they were murdered. It happened at night with little warning. It was her older sister who had helped her escape, and she can still remember hearing her shouting as she escaped to the forest. She slowly found her way to the oceans beside Zanoryn, working on boats and hiding her identity to all she met, believing that life was over before she got the invitation to the selection.
