Taehyung rushed to his classroom as he was already late. But the professor had not arrived yet, he heaved a sigh of relaxation while trying to stable his heavy breath. His face enlivened, the imagination of everyone's reaction playing in his head in a loop. He walked to the desk where Jungkook was already seated.

"Hey, Kookie!, what's up?" He passed him a high five, a goofy smile plastered on his face. 

"What's with this smile, hyung?" Jungkook raised a brow as he could smell the suspicion just by the older's looks.

"Guess what?... I got an interesting game!"

"Wow, show me!" Jungkook immediately jumped out of his seat. 

He was about to reveal the same to him when the professor cut them short. 

"All of you take your seats. Now." 

"Ah!" Jungkook sighed, his lips curled into a pout as he quietly took his spot.

"Don't worry Jungkook, I'll show it to you along with our group during the break." He assured him. 

He then dropped a message on their group chat- 

"Guys, meet me at the Cafeteria in the break, I have something interesting to show you."

"What?" Jin asked curiously.

"It's a secret...just wait for some time." He replied. 

"Okay, Taehyung-ah!" Jimin's reply came immediately. 

As the lectures got over, they headed towards the cafeteria. 

"Moon! It's good you meet us here, I was going to call you anyway. Actually, I have to tell you about something, so join us." A wide smile crept up to his face as Taehyung supposed that. 

Moon hummed in response as she accompanied them.

As soon as they reached, Taehyung spotted the other guys already sitting at a round table, the sound of their giggling could be heard from afar. 

"Why are you all laughing so hard?" Jungkook asked, taking some interest. 

"Jin hyung cracked a silly joke, I don't know what's so funny about it that they're chortling like they're about to pass out." Pure disgust could be sensed dripping down from the tone of Yoongi's voice.

"You are very no fun, Yoongi-ah." Jin who first looked unamused sent him a death glare afterward.

"Now forget it. Taehyung, what do you want to tell us about?" Namjoon urged, his dimples were full-on display as he eagerly waited for the former's response.

"So guys, I've got a new computer game," Taehyung announced exultantly while taking out the same golden box from his bag. 

"Let me see," Before anyone could even move a finger, Jimin literally snatched the box from his hands. 

"Woah! This seems interesting."

"But where did you get this from?"

"Moon, that's not what's important right now." It only took Taehyung a cheeky smile of his to let it slid smoothly.

"Since it's a multiplayer game, so how about we play it together?" He proposed the idea further. 

Just as Taehyung expected, everyone showed great enthusiasm upon hearing him. 

"Oh, that's a nice idea!" The excitement could be sensed in Moon's voice. 

"Hey Bee, we are planning a game session, would you like to join us too?" Taehyung proffered as she was passing by their table. 

"Oh sure it will be fun, I'll enroll with you guys,"

"Great! So let's play today in the evening," Hoseok suggested as he cupped both of his hands into a slap. To which the other eight agreed exuberantly.

"I can't wait for it, it's been so long since we all played together." Jungkook got intrigued as they were on their way back to the classroom. 

"Feelings are mutual, Kookie!" An excitement was laced in Taehyung's voice as he patted the younger's shoulder.

In the evening

They all were set on their computer tables.

"All of you send me your usernames, I will create a room for nine players." Taehyung texted on their group chat.

After taking some time for making their's as best as possible, they messaged their usernames one after the other. Taehyung set up the hardware in the CPU and opened the icon named 'Zendar'. He then clicked on the 'create room' button and began to enter their usernames in order. 

Taehyung- V_for_victory

Jin- breadjinie  

Hoseok- J-Dope

Jungkook- Golden_kook

 Yoongi- geniusmin 

Jimin- jamfulljimin 

Namjoon- presidentjoon

Moon- moonstar

Bee- bumblebee

"All of you join with this link that I've just sent you. The game will automatically open on your window." 

After waiting for five more minutes, Taehyung typed- 

"All Gucci?"

To which they replied with a 'Yes!'. 

"So let's get it!" Everyone threw their fist in the air, getting excited.

As they clicked on the start button simultaneously, a message popped on the screen- 

"Are you ready to get lost in the world of Zendar?"

 "Ah, it's giving me chills already," Moon couldn't contain her anticipation and nervousness at the same time. 

As soon as they pressed 'Go!', the same bright screen with an attractive background flashed up. They could see there were a total of nine levels as they all read the rules and instructions carefully.

Then the nine of them selected their characters. 

Taehyung selected the avatar with a brown hat, which was looking the most fierce one. Hoseok picked a red-haired and checked outfit one. Jin decided to take the one with a long black cape-like outfit. Jungkook chose the one in an all-black outfit with boots. Yoongi selected the player that was having a shield-like helmet on its face. Jimin took in the one with a black mask concealing half of its face. Namjoon preferred the cool cargo pants one. Moon picked a girl with a camouflage printed outfit, wearing high deep brown boots. Bee decided to go with the character that was looking such a badass as she could slay its opponent right away. 

After picking up their characters, they wore their headphones on and concurrently clicked on Level 1- 'THE JUNGLE'.

Ready Set Go!

A dark and dense forest was displayed. As soon as the level started, a huge animalistic monster appeared. Taehyung pressed the enter button from his keyboard and a bullet got fired, resulting in collapsing the monster with a thud. Hoseok's player was fighting with a silver-bladed sword in his hand. Moon also fired a bullet towards a creature who was trying to stab from behind. 

It was a simplistic game yet its oddly charming blocky graphics had imprinted in their minds as if alluring them towards itself.

All of them got fully immersed in the game, the sound of their busy fingers tapping the keys filled in the air, their voices creating the full chaos. Then suddenly, their windows crashed and the computers shut down...
