INSECURITIES

I can't help the way I feel

And I try to ignore it but I end up in a dark place

But I still try to claw my way back and hold on

But every so often the darkness creeps back in

And that self-doubt gets strong and wins

This constant battling of never feeling good enough

Cause no matter what you say I'm still hurting

You try your best to make me feel secure

But the problem isn't you, it's her

And there'll always be another

That I will think is after what we have with each other

So even after all this time I can't find my way past it

And I know that sometimes it may seem drastic

But it's either I lash out or I retract

Cause I still can't figure out how to handle it

Maybe I need therapy, or maybe I need to be alone

Cause you're never afraid of losing something if it's already gone

At least then, maybe I can focus and pull myself together

And work on my life and being more secure or whatever.

Hey Guys!! So...I know that i didn't update last week but I hope that this makes up for it.

So...turns out that this book is currently 839 in the Poetry Listing...and i know that it's really far down, like way way way wayyyyy down lol, but i'm actually excited that it even got on the list at all so i'm sending some appreciation and more love to you guys for that :-D
