Why is it so hard to talk to you

We can't seem to agree for long

My words don't seem to get through

I'm trying to stay and you're moving along

We raise our voices without even realising

We scream and shout at each other

Without considering the other person's feelings

We lash out and unintentionally hurt one another

This rollercoaster isn't healthy

We're both slowly losing our sanity

Our words get lost in translation

While our point of view seems like an algebraic equation

We're both at fault and we're both hypocrites

But somehow we can't seem to admit it

So we argue and fight and when we're through

Somehow we still manage to say "I Love You"
