Hi. So you may or not know, but I started working on this story right before one of my friends took their own life.

To be transparent, my plans were to finish The Crown Prince and then I would not be on this earth any longer.

However after seeing what has happened, I can't stand any more pain to the people I love. This took me through some dark times, current dark times.

It was hard to continue this, but it was also a catharsis kind of.

I'm not over them, far from it. However, writing this helped me along because I was tracing my own, and in a way, in my mind, some of their thoughts.

For me, it was a way to stop my heart from hurting so badly every time.

In fact, I've published and finished this on the date of his funeral.
