Dear Angel,

Have a wide range of music. Try not to narrow it down to just one group. If you have different genres of music, then it allows you to make references. It impresses people in my experiences.

So this past week was a retro week at my school, starting on Monday it went down from 90's to 50's, ending on Friday with an after school dance. Each day you were able to dress up like you were from that decade. But one of my favorite parts was that during lunch, you were able to choose music for the whole cafeteria to hear, like a jukebox (please tell me you know what that is), but it was from that day's decade and you could only choose songs that were on a list they provided.

With my wide range of music, I am proud to say that I knew ALL of the songs on the list, and was able to choose the best songs (a.k.a. my favorite)...which the adults there were impressed to see. Tehe. So knowing the music from the past has benefits.
