Dear Juliet,
I like a boy and he liked me back but I told him I loved him too late and now we're just friends. I don't know what to do, can I have advice please?

Dear friend,
I have personally been through something similar, the only difference is that I never told him. That was  a terrible mistake that I now have to deal with everyday. What I have learned about love is that if one person truly loves you they won't just give up on you, they will wait for you to feel the same. Love is like a tree, you need to take care of it, to take care of it you will need patience and commitment. The important part is a tree doesn't just die immediately, it looses a few leaves and it starts to dry out but with some water and light it comes back better than ever. So do that with the person you love and tell them and if it's meant to be it will. I understand that you might not have the nerve to tell him ,I didn't, but you have to understand that if you don't tell him you will have to suffer the consequences for the rest of your life. So if I were you, I would tell him that I love him and I would apologise for not realising sooner. Remember, risks like this are the ones worth taking. I have given you my advice, now it's your turn to decide. So what are you going to do?
