Aurora was caught coming out from the library still talking to Clem from Alchemy, they had managed to get a few more moments of reviewing after a very dreadful class, Severus remained as he was going to join the grand hall in just a bit.

The two were giggling about, but Sirius managed to catch his eye. Oh she knew he was trying, and it was sort of hilarious to see him attempt. Even better to ignore him every chance she could get.

"Oi Wells!" Clem admitted she was sort of afraid of the boys and Aurora bid her a goodnight and to see her bright and early Monday morning before turning to the boys. Her glasses were strictly on her nose as she smiled up to them. "Did captain schedule a time at the pitch yet?" She asked the boys, and it was a very nice breath of fresh air to either of them.

"Thinking Saturday night, you'll be the first to know love." Aurora rolled her eyes, James told Sirius multiple times that she wasn't interested and perhaps listening to Remus' advance would be grand. However he's been pitching towards Lily for...They're entire Hogwarts career so it wasn't that much of a trade off.

In the mist of their conversation, Lily came and joined them as she was coming from a meeting with Slughorn and was mighty excited. "Merlin what the hell were you brewing in Alchemy, the place smelled like a death trap!" For once Lily wasn't distracted by James' presences, but for now he'll just continue to act conversational.

"Alchemy? Merlin isn't that bloody hard?" Aurora smiled and started to explain it in a way that was easy for the lot of them to understand. However, Remus was simply taking to a mirroring Hufflepuff prefect before he caught the groups eye. "Oi Moony! Come here! Meet our chaser!" Sirius cheered, holding the thin veil of hope that Aurora had left.

His hand was just on the brim of her arse and making it a point as well. "Hands off Black, not a prop." She managed, pulling her glasses up above her head in that moment. But as his smirk was looking down to her, it was that same familiar feeling that both James and Peter had mentioned.

They all excused it as nicking a picture from Evans but now it was odd to— "Aurora, I promised to take you to the lake! We can eat early and go down...They'll be enough light!" Lily offered, and with a plan made did Aurora look up to 'Moony' confused as to who might that be.

Remus continued down the hall, nervous and swopping through options on how to properly greet this new girl. He wanted a good first impression, or instead it was his desire to live up to the bloody expectations that followed the words of Lily told her.

However, as his eyes finally managed to gain the courage he stopped full heartily. That smile, those eyes...That...Body...

━━━━━▼━━━━━

Although it confused Lily, it signified everything on the Marauders. They all shot their gaze to the girl and it clicked, it finally clicked. Sirius cleared his throat and moved his hand from her back. Making a bit of room between the two of them.

Sirius knew all too well that Rory was Moony's girl.

However, Aurora's eyes were so damn attached to Remus' that neither of them said a word.

She wasn't a muggle?

She's a witch?

A transfer even?

Although she held her posture and composed that aspect of it all, her face clearly showed shock and confusion all mixed into one. "You know Rory?" Lily showed more excitement than anyone at the moment, surely she hadn't told him the nickname. At the moment nobody called her Rory other than Lily herself, so now it struck her out as odd too.

"Er—yeah I—we—" With Remus stumbling over his words, Aurora jumped into the conversation to tear her gaze from Remus.

"We met at Diagon Alley...That bookshop you recommended." Aurora managed to dodge the actual terms of the true meeting and swallowed anything else. Although it didn't really pass for Lily, it was enough for the moment. "Right then, this is Remus I was telling you about...He's a prefect in our year." Lily reminded and giving her a bit of a bio.

Aurora reached out her hand and he fumbled once more to do the same, the idea of just touching her again was so bloody inviting that he jumped for the opportunity. The second his body held contact once again his cheeks flared.

"Funny, you look like a John...I need to get my notes to give Clem, I'll meet you guys at dinner." She calmly stated, all too easily recalling his nickname and then glared off to Sirius.

"Blake." She rolled her eyes and hurried off.

"Wait, Rory?! Do you know where the common room—" Aurora turned around for a moment, spinning about so gracefully as Remus would deem as she smiled. "I have to figure it out sometime Lils!" She spoke, and then putting her thumb in the air and continuing about to do some other task than she spoke of.

Lily took that as a cue to leave, but the Maurders stood completely dumbfounded. "She...She's a witch?" Peter choked, staring after the girl. Although all eyes were after her, it was Remus who had the frog stuck in his throat.

"Rory...Well mate, she did give her name...Aurora, Rory. Kinda cute...Bloody hell get going." Sirius cheered, pushing the tallest of the bunch forward. And had Remus not been startled, he would've met stone.

"W-what?" James shook his head and rose his brow. "Go bloody speak to her damnit...How didn't we pick up on that, is the grey hair that big of a difference?" James tried to reason and Sirius shrugged.

"I must've been outta it, didn't really catch much to her...Then again she isn't in the same shorts or—" The growl truly stopped Sirius from speaking, and he nodded.

"Aight Moony, then go get your gal. You've been foul all because you thought you'd never see her. Nows your chance, go get a story...She surely remembers you." The redness in his face grew and Sirius huffed impatiently as he gripped his friend's arm and walked him down halfway.

"Look, go talk to the bloody girl. Wells is so easy to talk to, she's witty, she's gorgeous and she's perfect....Just—Just talk to her." Remus inhales and nods puffing up his chest in the slightest as he makes his way in following after her.

But the second he is away from his friend's eye, his courage vanishes. Merlin, what the hell was he going to say? 'I've been thinking about you all summer and what you did with—' He didn't allow his thoughts to press any further as he made his way into the common room. Although he had privilege as a prefect to go on up, he didn't want to use it.

Instead, he waited.

On the other side, the rest of the marauders were...Still in a state of shock as they never even put it together. "Oi, you talked to her Pads. You didn't—"

"I talked to her for two minutes before she sent me off...Guess Moony and her didn't rightly see each other...A witch. Huh. He's in for a great year." Sirius smirked, taking ether friend in ether arm and continued to walk with a smile on his face.

Although Lily didn't understand, she was proud of Remus for going after Aurora. As that is clearly what the picture product has happened.

However, while everyone else was going swimmingly...Aurora was holding Jacob's letter in her lap. She hasn't written him back just yet, but all these...Love notes were getting to be a sort of reminder of what she left behind.

Aurora loved Jacob. It was as simple and as easy as that. But the girl knew her life resided with her Uncle when the time came, to fight her parent's war...And here she sat, on her bed, not wanting to go for dinner but needed and promising to do so.

With the intention of just ignoring the boy from the club, she set up with her head held high. Only until it became bluntly obvious that he had followed her and waited.

Perfect. Just what she bloody wanted.

She managed to get down the stairs, but Remus rose up to look at her once more. Oh he fit the same description as before, aside from the hair. But something in him just absolutely died seeing her in Gryffindor red. To see her tie, the damnned skirt.

"Lupin..." She stated, and that was clearly in the entire wrong direction he wished for it to go forward. But his eyes closed and his sigh heavied downward as he tried to compose his frustration. "Lily was worried you wouldn't find the way to the grand hall." He exampled.

━━━━━▼━━━━━

Neither of them knew what to say other than that it was a wonderful attraction but it didn't have much of a future. "John's my middle name...Remus is...N-not really a muggle name." Aurora nodded and she understood why he used it. It was common, although the girl's name wasn't common, it still could be used without any knowledge of a magical background.

"Right...Er...How do I put this—I'm not like that I just—Bloody hell I wasn't supposed to be out in London, alright?" She hissed, and his eyes widened in the revelation.

"Merlin I told Lily that—"

"You told Lily?!" He was more than shocked at the reveal, that sweet and dear Lily Evan's would ever know about a situation like that. But Aurora shook her hands.

"Well, she doesn't know it was you! I didn't think I see you again. Much less have them in the same house AND grade." She endeared, but then her face went red with pressure.

Or in this case...Embarrassment.

"Neither did I...I didn't even get a last name or-or—" Now his face was turning red and for all the wrong reasons, he willed it in his mind not to think about the night. But just talking to her in itself was difficult to manage. "I couldn't stay and have a drink Remus, I had to get going..." He swallowed, thickly as he frowned.

"You regret it." He whispered, and whether it be the sadness in his tone or just the looming happiness taking a drop. Aurora sat herself down onto the stairs and offered him the seat beside her, he was a bit hesitant at first in knowing what to do, but the second he had taken the seat he felt warm and invited.

Merlin this girl held a power over him he could not begin to understand.

"Sure we were drunk. But don't you think it's a bit hilarious that neither of us found each other's wands when we were snogging?... I wasn't expecting to do anything when I went out, I was upset and I got foolishly drunk. But you're a very attractive guy, sorry American slang is kicking in...I just said fuck it, I might as well..." Her adorable description was making it easier for him to look her in the eyes.

"S-so it was good then?" Oh Merlin did she want to laugh. But the insight of a boys ego was at stake and so she closed her eyes.

"Yes Remus, I enjoyed myself..." He smiled shyly to himself, more than proud at what he accomplished. And while he was floating on cloud nine once again his glance returned to her.

"W-would it be possible to—to be friends?" He questioned, not so much in a proper sentence. And her eyes were reading his for a moment before she seemingly spoke out: "...With benefits?" It was defiantly an American started term, but Remus did understand what she was getting across.

━━━━━▼━━━━━

But before he could even deny the idea, or shake his head, or anything in that sort. His smile was the first thing that Aurora recognized and she instantly shut that imagination down.

"No." She spoke, and feeling herself starting to get a bit angry did she shake her head in disgust. "Is that what you think I am? Just a whore that—"

"NO! Not at all, Aurora I...Sure I was drunk as a bloody sailor but I just, I haven't forgotten how it felt, how you felt and I just..." He started to ramble, and not in helping to win her favor.

"Look, just forget about it alright...We were drunk, simple as that...Now I'm going to dinner before your lot think I'm just whoring it up again." She spits, hurrying along out the exit through the portrait. His entire body flung up to chase on after her.

"Rory I never said—"

"Only Lily can call me that." She growled, turning her head back in the slightest. He admits, she did look bloody terrifying, and from Lily she was surely a powerful witch as she came through transferring without any problems...But then why was she here?

What was her backstory?

Why is her hair grey?

All these questions lingered in the boy's mind.

And he wouldn't get a single one if she was angry with him.

"Aurora, I never meant to make you look so degrading like that...I just merely meant friends. Then if it could possibly go somewhere from there then I'd love to—" That word made her flinch, oh Merlin would Jacob being laughing. Someone saying anything in the realm of love?

The girl felt sick to her stomach, obviously, he was attached too much or his mates made the entire event much more than it really was. "I'm not looking to date anyone Remus..." His face dropped once again, and Aurora didn't want to pity him too much, but what was she going to do?

"It's not you Remus I swear it, I just got here and personally being in a relationship right now when I just left everything isn't fair to anyone in the equation." It did make him feel better, but honestly, what did he expect? A quick shag before dinner? No. Not at all.

But before he could manage anything she tapped her finger onto his nose, something he clearly remembered from that night and he completely melted at the action. "Now, let's pretend. I didn't suck your cock over the summer and get some dinner, because I'm starving and you need to eat something too mister." She spoke, nudging his stomach and continuing on forward.

━━━━━▼━━━━━

The only time he spoke was to tell her she was going the wrong way. She had the basic idea but it seemed her mind wanted to return back to the library instead. But his very red face was still visible.

She used such a raw word to his—To what she did and it made him on the more susceptible to choke.

They managed to get to dinner, but he wasn't that disappointed that she didn't sit near him nor the mates this time around. His negligence managed him not to notice and end in a terrible bout, and when Sirius nudged his side Remus just shook his head and focused on his food.

It made him sick to his stomach, but it also made his heart flutter. The girl that occupied so much of his thoughts was right near him, about a dozen or so people in between the two of them. And though his lingering eyes were there, her's weren't.

Aurora defiantly felt the gaze of the boys, she was trained to feel eyes on her and this was the bonus of it all. But soon the girls all managed to up and leave, and with the looming second they were gone. Sirius turned to his wolf friend and demanded an answer.

"What the bloody hell happened?!" He growled, and Remus huffed.

"She doesn't want anything to do with it...With what happened at least, and then I merely asked if she wanted to be friends like a normal lad and she thought I meant benefits! Merlin, I didn't mean it at all, but then I was thinking—"

"With the wrong head."

"Yes Prongs with the wrong head, and she got angry. I never thought her like that, she's so beautiful and bloody brilliant." The rambling was a pure indication for the smitten member of the Maudarders and now it was both Sirius and James' task in finding out more.

━━━━━▼━━━━━

While the girls were out and about by the lake, Remus made it a point to cross over to a certain part of the castle that had an opening to see them. And their laughter was so easily heard as the wind carried it on over in his direction. His heart swelled, he had managed to place Rory onto the same pedestal that James had with Lily.

He knew James' infatuation was a bit unhealthy and he did not want a repeat of that. Instead he'd respect her wishes and hope if the time came she'd reconsider...yes. Perfect. That's how he'd go about it, and when she realized how much of gentlemen and how entirely wrong her first opinion was of it...it'd make it all better.

The only issue with this plan would be actually talking the girl, but he hadn't gotten that far yet in any regard.

Sirius and James, on the other hand, were halfway through a plan, James had managed to distract Professor McGonagall with some questions about the new girl, just in the realm if he could do anything to help on the pitch and off.

"Well I don't suppose you are trying to take the job of your year's prefects Mr.Potter, but I can assure you that Ms.Halliwell is perfectly capable, and if she needs help she will ask for it...It's good to see you starting to look at your surroundings, but perhaps this is the wrong sort of gaze. Goodnight Mr.Potter." James had managed to ask a series of questions prior and it allowed another five minutes to Sirius' rambling, but the tug on James side a few paces away from the common room made James smirk with pride. It actually worked.

"Alright, let's learn about Moony's gal." He deemed, they decided that returning to the room would be pointless and set up in the astronomy tower as it was the only place to truly look through the large file. It was probably due to the fact Ilvermorny didn't know what to send, but in attention it was her portfolios.

━━━━━▼━━━━━

"S-she went to Salem?" Sirius stuttered out, and James gripped the paper within the instant. It was Aurora's graduation certificate from the institution and they both looked to one another in clarification before placing it down.

"Isn't that the—"
"The the institution for bright young witches? Yes, yes it fucking it is." Sirius growled, looking through the rest of the given worksheets. But mainly they were internships, projects, statements...Anything in the sort that proclaimed that Aurora was very outspoken and very...Primitive to the life of a pureblood.

"Oh no..." James whispered, and it was a statement she made about werewolves. This was already a difficult potion to swallow, and ether of them slowly opened the statement and breathed a large sigh of relief.

The paper indicated a very firm stance of how werewolves were being mistreated and lower class citizens. Sirius leaned his head back and closed his eyes in relief.

"That could've been very bad...We have to be careful, she's too educated." Sirius nicked his head down before cracking it. There was still a whole lot to read and neither of them were going anywhere in the time being.

Remus felt actually relieved to have the room to himself, well himself and Peter. Who was mistakenly upset that it didn't work out all that well with Aurora.

"She's really nice, maybe she needs a month to adjust?... Sure being in another country is weird." He offered, and it was then that Peter's low set of mind made it so very obvious that he missed that entire step.

Aurora, although very sociable and likable, did leave a life behind and acclimating was one set of things she needed to accomplish. Besides, they hardly knew anything about one another, so he went to be with a fresh mindset. That the Rory with black hair, could be erased and started anew with Aurora with grey hair.

**

However, his eyes only managed to be closed for an accounted for eight minutes. And finally, it turned out that James and Sirius were up to no bloody good as they allowed Aurora's file to be plopped down onto his bed.

"You two were bloody made for each other," Sirius spoke, sitting down on his own bed that was beside Remus' and offered his hand out to the stack.

Remus didn't know what it entailed to opening it, but the second he saw her name he shook his head. "No, get that out of here now...I don't want to read it."

"Mate she is brilliant honestly. Please just give it a gander, look—" Remus took the parchment and hid it under his pillow.

"What possessed either of you to do that? I need to respect her wishes, she isn't in the mood for a relationship. Leave. It. Be." He spoke, returning his head back to the pillow and forced his eyes shut. However, with the folder just under his head, he huffed. Hearing the snores of his roommates only made him pull the covers over his head and look through the endless assignments and assortments that James had gone through with Sirius.

They were right, she's bloody perfect.

Aurora Halliwell was something so different than the likes of anyone he's met. Lily told him she had a farm, and surely it echoed her love of magical creatures. So he made it a point into watching her in class the following week.

But seeing her scores, he now had to worry about not being first in DADA. He didn't know how they translated to make it look the same, he gulped. Lily would never live it down. So he vowed to himself he would keep the position and not give in to her charms.

**

Since it was Saturday, Aurora had gotten word that there was a practice at night. Which meant she had the entire rest of the day but after dinner, it was surely to the field. It made her jittery, but it was also nice to welcome the weekend with little work to accomplish.

She managed to visit her Uncle and Minvera. Who she so happened to learn that the boys, mostly Sirius, call her Minne.

"Those boys are always in and out of detention. You best stick with the girls you've befriended." Aurora found that plausible, but as she managed to cause only a bit of mischief with the girls. It was finally time to hit the field with the boys, and they were all too ready to tease her about a loud of things. So she inhaled for a moment, yanking off James' glasses as he was left blind while her wand went instantly to Sirius' throat.

"I don't want a word, a peep, a joke or nothing when we are on this field. Is that understood?" Sirius was in confusion for a moment, but the fire in her eyes were too horrific to tempt as he nod. But something about being threatened made him smirk. "Solemnly swear." He issued, and she returned James' glasses before mounting her broom and kicking off into the air.

"Oi, Wells! You'll pay for that!" Sirius yelled, and they were off. James merely mumbled to himself and repositioned his glasses, muttering other nonsense that inflicted rather harshly on Moony's vision of her. But then it was sort of honest. She was protecting herself and Remus' image.

Perhaps she knew he was new to the area of...Sex. James knew a bit, but if he were in the situation as Remus he'd probably mess it up as well.

Aside from the obvious elephant on the field, they had a very intense workout as Aurora brought her energy. The boys assumed it was her anger but then her laughter filling the air allowed them to cross out that suggestion.

Her playing angry wasn't going to be a pretty sight.

As they were returning back from the locker rooms, joking about and reliving the plays for the upcoming games. "So, since we're off the field...I suppose we can ask about—" Aurora stopped and slightly turned his head.

"Sirius Black, watch your tongue. It might just slip out." She warned, and he smirked even more.

"Then I have a proposition for you...We ask that Lily goes on a date with James to Hogsmeade." Aurora turned fully to the boys, her hair was managed up into a ponytail. Her glasses switched for goggles and she rolled her eyes.

"Do you know how long I've known Lily?" James sparked at the new source of information.

"N-no...We know you were her penpal...Actually, that's how we thought we recognized you at first." James spoke and Aurora continued to nod about.

"Two years, and in those two years at least three times a week would she mention of something you, you two, or your group had done. So no, I will not ask Lily to go on a date with you." She simply stated.

"Whyever not?!" James shouted and she huffed. "Might I suggest a calm approach?" Sirius smirked now.

"We can make a trade." He issued, and now that intrigued Aurora. Tilting her head for him to continue did he smirk. "I suppose Lily doesn't know what happened with our pal Moony, it'd be a shame if—" Aurora stopped him cold heartily. Placing a hand onto Sirius' mouth to silence him once and for all.

"James, I like you on the field. But I see that our friendship can only last there. So I ask, do you really want me to have to go into details and to explain to our previously Lily flower what Remus and I accomplished off to the side of a nightclub?" Her smile was at an all-time high, Merlin was she good.

Sirius managed to get her hand off his mouth, he huffed and looked to James. Not believing that his friend was buying this. "I suppose I can just tell her all the properties of it, perhaps she'll find a boy to test it—"

"NO!" James shouted and she smirked.

"Lovely, glad we see eye to eye." She winked, continuing off into the building as though she wasn't threatened nor plastered like a whore. She didn't really care how Sirius or James saw her, Remus was a bit of a different story. After everything she heard about him, she was sort of excited to get to know him.

However now it was just ruined as just had to suck him...She coughed at the thought.

Remus had been in the common room reading about. His eyes popped up to see Aurora in her practice uniform without the boys, and although she offered a friendly smile before looking over her shoulder. "OH LILY! I HAVE SOMETHING TO TEACH YOU!" Never has Remus ever seen James attempt to tackle a girl before, but if Aurora hadn't crossed the barrier separating the girl's dorm from all the males...It would've been brutal.

"You wouldn't—"

"We'll see." She sang, and James groaned into the air. She looked to Remus, hoping he'd ask which was what she wanted him to do. If it'd finally allow them to leave her alone about it then so be it.

"I doubt she will Prongs...Come on." Remus followed the two in the moment and just like Aurora predicted, he asked. "I just thought that mentioning the entire thing to Lily would have Aurora turn it into a sort of deal and it'd—"

"It'd what?!" Remus slumped onto the bed, hoping that the girl didn't think it was his fault in any sort of way.

"She threatened to tell Lily a-about...Wanking." Remus, who was feeling pity for himself leaned up the given bit to look towards James. Before proceeding to let out a gruesome howl of laughter. Sirius himself couldn't manage to keep it together ether.

"Er...What-what is it?"

"Gals don't wank Prongs." Sirius choked out after a few moments of suffocated breathing. But Remus felt a level of warmth on his chest as he adored her thinking processes. Somehow she managed to outsmart both of them in terms of the arrangement.

"I suppose you shouldn't mention it in front of her then...That means you Pads." The dog-man pouted as he tried to voice his disagreements, but it wasn't that much of a fight as Remus had the final word on the matter. Much like Aurora did.

On the other side of the tower it was hard from giggling to herself in secret, the boys were too easy to mess with honestly. Instead, she finally sheltered herself in the confinements of her own bed and curtains before returning a very needed letter back home to Jacob.

But by the end of it she had closed her eyes, hoping the throbbing at her core was just from the page and a half she responded with. However it was more than just an issue, she truly needed to solve it and quick. So she cleared her bed, allowed a silent spell to cover her bed once and for all before finding her own sort of pleasure.

Was she going back on what her and Remus had done? Yes. It was the last of the sexual acts she's committed and it was...Thoroughly impressive. The reason Aurora didn't want to be with Remus was due to the fact he's never had a girlfriend.

Not that was a concern, but friends with benefits when the boy hasn't ever done anything. That being his first snog? She was honored and impressed but would dating really be the smartest aspect?

Aurora told Lily that James was angry at her for a split moment and he couldn't get up the stairs, but it was blessing to know that the girls could still manage their way up there. Whatever the hell that manages in any regard.

━━━━━▼━━━━━

But in terms of friends with benefits, she could just sneak into the boys dorm room and shag the daylight out of the boy. His toned body, his long fingers...His c—

"A—ah..." The build-up was looming closer and closer, her crossing daydream only reverted her back to the booming nightclub as Remus' strong and firm hands were down her skirt and managing their own sort of workings.

She huffed in satisfaction, but then it dwindled even further. She missed Jacob terrible, her old roommates. She'd even make room for bloody Isaac if it meant seeing everyone again. So instead, she laid in wait of what to do tomorrow in terms of the boys...
