Work thankfully is time-consuming. No more sitting around and doing nothing. I'm working all week now. That should be taking my mind off you and your ocean. I put the selfie of you you sent up and in a frame. Where everyone will see your tan face smiling and full of freckles with your brown hair a mess. But - a beautiful mess of course.
Sadly, everyone coming to the store is from somewhere tropical reminding me of you. They're from Miami Florida, Sarasota Florida, and even Bradenton Florida. But, you're not in Florida. You're in California. Across the country from me. Here in North Carolina. That would probably explain why it takes so long for my letter to reach you.
Olaf and I enjoy spending the hours at work together though. Or at least I do. I think he does because he smiles the entire time.
