Isaiah 43:1-3

Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the water, I will be with thee: and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned: neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour.

The phrase "fear not" occurs 365 times in the bible, but the phrases I have called thee by thy name and thou art mine, occur only once each.

God called us, and we are His. He did it once, and it is done. We belong to him for all eternity, but he will give us the reassurance that we should not be afraid every day.

Thank you, Mighty God of Israel, that I do not have to fear anything upon this earth or in the heavens or the depths below but You. For You alone have all the power and can cast my soul in the fires of hell, but You love me. You gave your only son for me so that I can be saved and with me every soul that belongs to You. Thank You that even if I pass through deep waters, I shall be safe, for You are with me. Thank You that even if I pass through the flame, I shall not be burned, for You are with me, You are my God, my Saviour, and the one who has redeemed me. Praise the Lord who guards over me. In Jesus' Mighty Name, I thank You, Lord God, for loving me with a love that has no boundaries and cannot be measured, as You love all those whom You have chosen for Yourself.
