Psalm 127:1-2

1 Unless the Lord builds a house,

the work of the builders is wasted.

Unless the Lord protects a city,

guarding it with sentries will do no good.

2 It is useless for you to work so hard

from early morning until late at night,

anxiously working for food to eat;

for God gives rest to his loved ones.

Lord, thank you for always being with us. Thank you for always being accessible to us, and thank you for never abandoning us or giving up on us.

Lord, I ask your approval on all I do today. Lord, I ask your blessing on all I do today, and Lord, I ask you to guide me to do what you want me to do, so that I do not toil fruitlessly on endeavours that do not have your blessing.

I ask You, Lord God, for Your favour upon my work today. I ask You, Almighty Father, to be the inspiration in my life today, and I ask You, Loving Creator, to open my eyes to the path that is your will for me.

I ask of You, Gracious God, to let me hear Your voice as You steer me toward Your will.

Thank You for being You, Lord, and thank You for looking after me so well. Thank you for not only seeing to my physical needs but also my spiritual needs.

I ask Your blessing today on my hopes and dreams, Holy Father. I ask You to forgive me the days I have fruitlessly toiled on things You did not will for me.

I ask You, Heavenly Father, to take back Your battles because I am not qualified to fight them. Lord, qualify me for the future you have prepared for me.

Bless this day in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.
