To my certain someone,

The milk I drank earlier was way too hot. I didn’t notice at first, but when I took a sip, it burned my tongue so badly that I almost cried.

I froze in place for what felt like forever, trying to calm down and stop the sting.

It was awful!

I promised myself right then that I’ll never drink hot milk while distracted on my phone again.

Lesson learned, I guess.
