To my certain someone,

Dinner tonight didn’t go as planned. I tried cooking something simple, thinking I could manage it, but it was a total disaster.

The rice turned out mushy, and I burned the vegetables.

To make things worse, I accidentally dropped the frying pan, and it made such a loud noise that my roommate came running to check if I was okay.

In the end, I had to order takeout because there was no salvaging my attempt at cooking. I know you’d probably laugh at me for how bad it was, but you’d also encourage me to keep trying.

That’s why I’ve made it my new goal to learn how to cook properly!
