To my certain someone,

It’s like my brain is running a hundred miles an hour, and I can’t keep up. I feel restless and drained all at once. I tried writing in my new notebook to calm myself down, thinking maybe putting my thoughts on paper would help.

But guess what? I ended up spilling my iced chocolate all over the pages! I was so frustrated, I slammed the notebook shut and threw myself onto my bed.

I didn’t even bother cleaning up the mess right away. I just closed my eyes and let sleep take over, hoping I’d feel better when I woke up.

But now that I’m awake, I still feel irritated.

The dried chocolate stain on my notebook is a reminder of how everything seems to be going wrong today.
