To my certain someone,

While walking today, I came across a cat that looked so much like the one in your profile photo.

It had the same soft fur and curious eyes.

Naturally, I couldn’t resist stopping to pet it.

To my surprise, it didn’t scratch or hiss at me and just let me run my fingers through its fur.

It was such a sweet little moment, but it didn’t last long. 

While I was crouched there, stroking that cat, my thoughts drifted to you.

Before I even realized it, my chest started to ache a little, and all I could think was how much I miss you.

It’s ridiculous, isn’t it?

Just the sight of a cat made me long for you even more.
