Numb is the word
That describes how I feel
With no tears to hold back
Or hidden feelings to reveal

How far can I go
Until I'm knocking on heaven's door
How far can my legs carry me
Down the path of success and agony
What else really is there
What could possibly be left in store

I take two steps forward
Then by the third step, I am lost
The world still can't seem to find me
For is it me who is truly lost?

As I stumble through the crossroads
Fiddling with my fingers rapidly
My eyes flipping in every direction
Is there no hope left in me
No bridge left to cross

Where do I go from here
How can I stand to stay the same
When I know that it's my loss
My loss at becoming a household name

Who should be the one to guide me
As I draw nearer to the darkness of the flame
How can I follow if there is no path to walk
No guide or path is left for me to take
Just a realm of nothingness that all bleeds the same
As my worries become truth and my efforts shrivel up in vain
