I remember being there,
Half alive, lost, being scared

Within myself, 
But couldn't find comfort no where else.

I remember when everything was black and white,
How emotions were heightened to new extremes at night.

The world was viewed as a scary place,
But it's worse when you stand in the mirror , crying, looking at your face...

Don't let the lies in your mind
Convince you to end your life.

Don't let others around you push you in a corner
And tell you it's over,

Because this is just life,
Dealing with everything that's wrong and what could be right.

There's always a better place,
Even though we're always stuck in our head space,

Just run away from the thoughts in your mind,
Save your precious soul and look for any little light.

Embed that hope somewhere deep inside your heart and mind..
No matter how much it kills inside, just fight, and you'll make it out alive.

Just hold onto your worth,
Remember someone wants you alive no matter how much living may hurt.
