The world divided,
We were never united.

We start wars,
All because of power, we're always wanting more.

Destroying all we built together,
With all that play the cruel game nothing lasts forever.

Put down your weapons and hold you fire,
A game of tug of war- shocked like water with wires.

For centuries no peace,
Each other's comfort is what we need.

A single soul cries alone
Seeing people with hearts of stone.

Fight with our hearts and never with a fist,
Actions speak louder than words... 

People fueling a fire with excess gasoline,
Digging a knife deeper when we're already bleeding.

We hold lives hostage for greed,
When we should help each other, evil's hunger mostly we feed.

Killers from a place of envy and darkness,
But just why take another human soul? It's cold and heartless.

I cry for peace, a single soul waving a white flag!
Hear my screams and watch this fearful soul fall to her knees!

Surrender!! Stop with this violence!
We need to comfort each other and find the balance.

It's a thin line,
But we'll find it if everyone tries.

If God came down and saw us all..
Heartbroken, ashamed how his children let love fall.
