"AND CAN YOU BRING HIM BACK!?" Carl asked.

"... Sadly... I... I cannot do that." Amaterasu responded.

"WHY!?" They all yelled.

Amaterasu then looked at Nate and Aegon.

"Because all the lives in this world and the worlds connected to where they are... are in damger and they are the only two that can save it." Amaterasu said.

"W-What?" Carl asked.

"Sit down and I will explain." Amaterasu said as a table formed out of thin air.

No PoV

"It happened 5000 years ago..." Amaterasu said as the air around surrounding them began to shimmer and change.

Flashback

I -along with the other gods from other worlds- organised to address the rising problem that is Ragnarok... we thought that all of is together can beat him... but sadly we were wrong... so very wrong... at the sight of his colossal figure many of the gods became afraid and... as much as I would like not to say it... fled for their lives.

"Some god those are." Elias Interjected.

They were... but despite the others fleeing for their lives 2 gods remained to challenge the beast... me... Amaterasu the goddess of the sun... and Tsukuyomi... the god of the night... we battled for 40 days and 40 nights, not stopping even if we were heavily injured or tired, we just thought of 1 thing... to keep everyone safe... however... Tsukuyomi and I grew tired... our magic was low... and we needed rest... but when all hoped seemed lost 2 warriors -one of simple standing but with great dreams and the other was noble born but had something to prove, together they faught alongside us and the people of this land... but due to the demons large stature and enormous power the best we could've done was seal it... and we did... but before he was sealed he promised to return and... destroy all life... however we were sure that we will always have our saviors here to protect us... but it turns out we were wrong.

Both of the saviors died during the battle... The hero sustained a heavy injury in his heart for shielding me... and The Emissary... his magic was infected by the demon causing him to make the voluntary action to take his own life... but before their timely demise... they handed us their souls... to be brought to different worlds to reincarnate and grow.

"Let me guess the reincarnations are Nate and that guy with him?" Carl said.

You would be correct... I was given the task to bring Licht's soul here... at first I wasn't sure if his soul would grow here... in his original form Licht now known as Nate... wasn't born with magic but was blessed with immense strength, but in his current reincarnation he didn't acquire his titan like strength... but I was happily surprised when he met Alicia... she was able to give him something that he lacked... power.

With the guys and Amaterasu

"Your wrong about that." Carl said.

"Pardon?" Amaterasu asked confused.

"Your saying that Nate became the proper hero because he finally have superhuman abilities... then I am telling you now your wrong, Dr. Alicia told us how Nate gained that power... he protected Dr. Alicia from getting killed by a bio-weapon, he had no ability back then, no magic, no power, but despite that he still used his own body to save Dr. Alicia, in my perspective Nate was ALREADY the hero, he didn't need no damn super strength and he certainly doesn't need it now." Carl said.

"Yeah, that guy is strong in his own right, sure he may not have special abilities like Carl, Magic like me and Elias, or any distinguishing features like Jason, but I can tell you right here and now even without his armour... he is still able to match us." Lucas said.

"Yeah, he almost beat Jason during a training spar." Elias said.

"Yeah, that kid is more resourceful than I thought haha." Jason said

"I see... your right... Nate may not have the physical strength right away... but the heart of a hero still runs deep within him." Amaterasu said.

"Ok so back to the story, then what happened?" Lucas asked.

Back to flashback

Tsukuyomi and I decided to bring the souls of Licht and Umbra to worlds that are similar to how they were raised, Tsukuyomi brought Umbra's sould to a world called 'Runeterra' where he was raised in a militaristic way in the country of Noxus where he quickly rose to power at a young age, and I took Licht's soul here to Earth... and I am glad that I took him here... after dispersing the soul I built this place as a direct connection to Nidelheim so that when the time comes... Nate will be taken to Nidelheim where he will finally finish what his past life began, along with his partner Aegon.

"Thats a great story and all but you still didn't answer the question, WHY. CANT. YOU. BRING. NATE. BACK!" Carl yelled angrily as he almost charged the goddess only to be stopped by his band mates.

"Dude chill!" Elias said as he held Nate back.

"Dude I don't want you to receive Divine punishment!" Lucas said as he held on to Carls left leg.

"Yeah man takenit easy!" Jason said as he held carl by his right arm.

"Yes calm yourself Mr. Shadeheart!" Jaden said as he held on to Carls left leg.

"LIKE I GIVE A S**T ABOUT DIVINE PUNISHMENT, BRING NATE BACK DAMN IT!" Carl angrily yelled.

"I'm sorry... but the gate only operates in a one way direction... once you are in... you can't go back." Tsukuyomi said as she eyed the gate.

"WHAT!?" All of them yelled in shock.

"So you kidnapped my senior!?" Jaden yelled a bit angry.

"No no it's not like that, once the demon is defeated then the gate will open once more and bring Nate back." Amaterasu said.

"What are the chances of them winning?" Elias asked.

"If they have the chance to defeat Ragnarok while he just awoken... about 70%... if he fully awaken... I do not know." Amaterasu said.

"What do you mean?" Elias asked.

"It means that she sent Nate to a battle she herself doesn't know if they can win." Carl said with venom.

"I'm sorry." Amaterasu said avoiding eye contact.

"No... so are we just supposed to sit here?" Jaden asked.

"No we are not, is there a way to go to where Nate and this Aegon guy is?" Carl asked.

"...There is... but you will have to wait." Amaterasu replied.

"How?" Jaden asked.

"In 2 days the portal will reopen for a brief moment to release magic that is stored up, in that time the portal will connect to Nidelheim... if you really wanna help Nate and Aegon... then that will be your chance to do so... however..." Amaterasu began.

"However?" Jaden asked.

"The hero from this world will be notified that there were people who used his portal... if he wants... he can send you back if he wanted." Amaterasu said.

"Then we'll just be stubborn and annoy him, he always do it with us." Elias said with a smile.

"Yeah, besides as Nate would always say 'Help is always appropriated even if you asked for it or not.'" Jason said quoting Nate.

"Yeah... well boys... we better get ready... we have a multiverse ending level threat in our hands." Carl said.

"Yeah, lets see the Avengers handle this one." Lucas said with a smirk.

"For Senior Nate, I'll do anything to help him." Jaden said.

"Then if you 5 are sure... then here." Amaterasu said as she handed them paper charms.

"And these are?" Elias asked.

"Omamori, they will glow blue when the portal is opened, after that simply throw the paper in the air and you will automatically be transported here." Amaterasu said.

"Even though you sent our Nate to a dangerous mission where he may or may not survive... thank you for at least allowing us to help him... now... how do we explain THIS situation to Nate's family and Seraphine?" Carl asked.

"Maybe show them this?" Amaterasu said as she showed them a pink bottle.

"Wait thats-" Jaden began.

"He asked me to hold on to this in case he doesn't return... but I believe he will return, however the girl that is waiting for Nate needs this now more than ever." Amaterasu said as she handed Carl the Rose bottle.

"Thank you." Carl said as they were about to walk away, but was stopped by Amaterasu.

"Wait." She said.

The guys turned around and saw Amaterasu reaching in her Kimono and giving them a mirror the same size as a CD.

"What is it?" Jason asked.

"Its a traditional Japanese mirror, my mom has one of these." Lucas said.

"That is a viewing mirror, with it... you can see Nate and his partner, but only for 5 minutes a day." Amaterasu said.

"Thank you." Carl said as they went bacl to the forrest entrance.

"I hope I did the right thing." Amaterasu said with a sad look on her face.

Truthfully she didn't want to let those 5 go to Nidelheim, but the determination in their eyes and the power she felt inside each of them made her a bit convinced.

With Seraphine and the others

It's already been 2 hours since the guys from Ace of Spades and Jaden went out to the forrest to look for Nate.

Currently Emily and Levy are asleep while hugging each other, Arthure was still pacing back and forth, and Seraphine was looking at her pictures with Nate.

"Nate... where could you be... please... please be ok." Seraphine said as she looked at a picture of her and Nate at the beach.

"Hey Sera why don't you rest for a bit?" Kai'sa said as she sat next to Seraphine.

"I don't think I can sleep." Sera admitted.

"We know your worried dear, but don't worry I am sure the boys will be back any minute now." Evelynn said.

"Yeah... where is Akali and Ahri?" Seraphine said.

"Ahri is calming Miyeon down and Akali is explaining the situation to Soyeon, they heard that Nate went missing and are worried sick." Kai'sa said.

Suddenly everyone heared the familiar roar of ; super cars and a loud hum of a motorcycle, Emily and Levy soon woke up and everyone ran outside to see the guys parking their individual vehicles and stepping put of them.

Seraphine then ran towards them along with Levy and Emily.

"Did you find him!?" Seraphine asked.

Carl didn't respond and only showed her the rose bottle.

"We know where Nate is." Carl said.

Seraphine smiled and took the Rose bottle and hugged it tightly.

"W-Where is he then?" Levy asked.

Lucas then grabbed the mirror Amaterasu gave them and showed it to them.

"Whats that?" Ahri asked.

"We'll show you... Seraphine, Levy can you hold the mirror please." Carl said as he handed the 2 girl the mirror.

Levy and Seraphine grabbed the mirror on each sides.

"Now what?" Levy asked.

"Think about Nate very hard." Jason said.

The 2 girls then closed their eyes and thought of Nate, Seraphine thought of his warm embrace, his loving smile, and his warm touch, while Levy though of his playful attitude, his kind hands petting his head and his brotherly hugs.

They then opened their eyes and saw that the mirror was glowing, they looked inside it and saw Nate laying down while talking to a boy who seemed to be a bit agitated.

"NATE!/BIG BROTHER!/MY BABY!" They all yelled.

Suddenly Nate looked confused as he looked straight in the mirror, he then began shaking the other guy as he stood up with an agitated look, Nate then pointed straight at them, the boy then looked at the mirror and told something to Nate as he layed down again, Nate then kept staring at them and waved his hand with a smile and went to sleep.

"W-What is it?" Emily asked.

"It's a viewing mirror... it was given to us... by the one who took Nate." Carl said.

"WHAT!?" They all yelled.

"Ok took maybe a bit of a strong word... hmmm more like... asked Nate for a favor." Lucas interjected.

"And who might that be?" Emily asked.

"-sigh- It's... Amaterasu." Carl said.

"This is no time for jokes Carl." Akali said.

"He isn't joking... we actually met the venerable goddess... she told us what happened and gave that mirror to us so we can show you where Nate is." Lucas said.

"Ok... so what happened?" Seraphine asked.

One long explanation later

The guys told everyone everything... except for the part where Nate and his friends may die in the fight, they didn't want to add to the growing worries.

"Then... you 5 will help Nate and bring him back?" Seraphine asked.

"Yes, and don't worry we will succeed." Carl said.

"I can't believe this... my baby... was a hero?" Emily said.

"No maam your son wasn't a hero... he IS a hero." Jason said.

"Yeah, I'm gonna tell you something maam, Nate is the reason why I haven't given up on humanity just yet." Elias said with a smile.

"True that." Lucas replied.

"Preach bother." Jason responded.

"As a humam who hates some humans I can definitely agree to that." Carl said.

"I guess you kids right." Emily said.

Levy and Seraphine were still looking at the mirror with a bit of tears in their eyes... when suddenly the mirror went black.

"W-What happened!?" Levy said in a panic as she bagan shaking the mirror.

"Levy! Levy! Calm down, Lady Amaterasu told us that the mirror can only be used 5 minutes a day." Jaden said as he calmed Levy down.

"But... but... big brother?" Levy said.

"He's gonna be ok, besides he has all the weapons we made for him, and he has a friend watching his back for him, the two of them are safe, besides we'll be there to help him." Jaden said.

"Yeah... thanks Jaden." Levy replied.

"Sure." Jaiden said.

Aftee the entire scene they all decided to head on home and reat for awhile, The mirror was being kept by Levy as she hugged it tightly and Seraphine decided to stay in Nate's room in the time being, the K/DA ladies understood and went on home without Seraphine, Jaden and Alicia went back to the lab, and the huys from AoS went on home to reat and prepare.

A few hour ago with Nate and Aegon

Nate was currently talking about curry rice with fried steak on top while Aegon was silently lamenting his sanity for agreeing to do this mission.

"Hey Aegon?" Nate said.

"I don't f**king care about your damn curry rice or what ever, just go back to sleep damn it!" Aegon said.

"No its not that... look at this." Nate said.

Aegon sat up and saw a firefly floating around Nate.

"It's a damn firefly, what do you want me to do?" Aegon said a bit agitated.

"I know what it is, but the question is... how can there be fireflies in THIS place?" Nate asked.

Nate was right, the surrounding area made it near impossible for anything to survive in this place, so seeing a firefly here was weird.

"Who cares, maybe its strongee than the other bugs here, so ho back to sleep, just talking to you makes me tired." Aegon said as he layed back down.

Nate then looked at the firefly and smiled and gave it a wave.

"Night night little fella." Nate aaid as he layed down as well as he drifted off to sleep.

Somewhere in Runeterra

An armoured man with a large axe behind him was currently walking towards a boat to go to a place in Ionia.

"Where do you think your going?" A woman's voice said.

The man looked infront of him and saw a woman with red hair and a scar on her left eye.

"What are you doing here Katarina?" The man asked as he walked past her.

"I have prders from Swain." Katarina said.

"And that would be?" Darius asked.

"To go with you in Ionia and look for the brat." Katarina said.

"I don't need your help, I can find my son on my own." Darius replied.

"Sorry no can do, both Draven and I have our orders." Katarina said with a smug smile.

"Wait Draven is also coming?" Darius asked.

"Yep, with DRAAAAAAVEN around this mission will be over in no time." Draven said appearing out of nowhere.

"Tch, do as you wish, but don't alow me down." Darius said as he boarded the boat.

"Sure thing." Draven said.

"As you say." Katarina replied as they set off towars Ionia.
