Nate PoV

It's been about 4 days since I confessed my true feelings to Seraphine and 3 days since our 'official' date, I am not gonna bore you with the details since lets be honest nothing exciting usually happens on dates, even if your a super hero or not.

Well if you guys are a bit curious I can give you a quick rundown, I picked up Sera on my 200cc Enduro, we went to the park, Aquarium, amusement park, and ate dinner, thats it, Nothing exciting even remotely happened... well maybe one thing.

You see while I was riding back home I saw a glimpse of something... white and gold in the distance, At first I just brushed it off, then suddenly I heard a gunshot and I quickly stopped my bike and rode to where I heared the gunshot... I then finally arrived at the location it was an alley way... and inside was the body of a man, his head cut off and on the wall was the words 'He returned his life to God.' which were all writen in blood, I then quickly got my phone and dialed the police along with Detective Mao.

After taping off the perimeter and sealing every possible exit they began looking into the case.

And its been 3 days after that incident and it still bugs me that I have no idea of  who... or what may have caused that.

"Nate are you ok?" Seraphine asked as we were eating ice cream outside.

"Oh yeah I'm fine Sera, I just have something on my mind, thats all." I replied while taking a bite of my ice cream.

"Nate come on don't lie to me, I'm your girlfriend you can tell me the stuff that bug you." Seraphine said as she gave me a wide smile... man I love this girl.

"-sigh- Did you see the news... about the murder 3 days ago?" I said while looking up at the sky.

"Yeah... they said they found a dead body in an alley, why do you ask?" Seraphine asked.

"I was the one who fpund that body." I replied.

"What?" Seraphine asked.

"Yeah... I was riding on home when I suddenly heard a gunshot from behind me, I then came back and when I got there... the guy was already dead... and the words 'He returned his life to god.' were written with his blood." I said.

"The worst part is I don't even know who did it... the guy that did it left nothing, no foot prints, no finger prints, not even a bullet shell... It was like he just appeared and reappeared out of thin air." I added.

"Nate... listen you'll figure it out, your the famouse real life Sherlock Holmes after all, there is nothing in this world you can't solve." Seraphine said as she gave me a kiss on the cheek.

"Listen I need to go back to practice, dont go going around doing anything dangerous ok." She said as she stood back up.

"I promise I'll try." I replied as I stared at her fleeting figure.

I was now then left alone to ponder to my own devices... I was sitting there for almost a good hour just thinking... who killed that man, how did he escape undetected and how did he not leave ANYTHING behind, at first I thought that maybe this was the work of a bio-weapon, but that idea was shot down quick since doc said that the bio-weapons -much like humans- gives off an aggression parameter that she can track down and locate, but she said that none of the remaining bio-weapons were active during the past 3-4 days.

However before I can do anything I then heared a gunshot from within the mall, I then ran inside and saw a man holding a little boy hostage and at gun point.

"NOBODY MOVE, OR I BLOW THIS KIDS HEAD OFF!" The man said as he pointed the gun to the kids head.

'Oh no I gotta transform.' Nate thought as he ran towards an area with no people so he can transform.

As Nate was running around trying to look for a place to transform he didn't notice a boy with black hair and red eyes walk closer to the man.

"STAY BACK KID!" The man yelled as he pointed the gun to the young male.

However the young man didn't stop walking forward... no he just continued as he looked at the man with his dead like red eyes, the boy continued to walk until he was only a few inches away from the man.

"Do it then." The young male said as he grabbed the gun and pointed it at his own head.

"Y-your insane!" The man said in fear.

"I have nothing to fear... for god is on my side." The boy said as he gave a smirk.

"Then yell him I said hi!" The man yelled.

However before he can squeeze the trigger the gun on his hand was shot as it spun away a good meter away from him.

The people in the mall looked towards the shooter and saw Steam Knight on the edge of the railing with hi gun raised, he then jumped down as he kicked the man in the head narrowly avoiding the boy, the man was then knocked out in one kick as Steam Knight crouched down to look at the young boy.

"Are you ok?" Steam Knight asked.

"-sniff- Yeah... thank you." The boy said as he cried.

"Hey there is no more need to cry, your safe now." Steam Knight said as he gave the boy a pat.

"MAKIE!" The voice of a frantic woman called out, the boy then looked to the side and saw his mother run towards him.

"MOMMY!" The boy cried as he hugged his mom as the woman did the same.

"Oh thank god your ok, thank you so much Steam Knight, I cant thank you enough for saving my son." The woman said.

"Its ok maam, as long as he is safe." Steam Knight said as he gave the boy a final pat on the head as he gave a smile.

"So... your Steam Knight?" The voice of the same boy from earlier called out.

"Yes I am... and I have to say what you did earlier was very brave, thank you." Steam Knight said.

"Do not thank me dark one, I only used that man to lure you out of the dark hole you crawled out of." The boy said as he glared at the Knight.

"What?" S.K said with a confused look.

"I have been given a gift... that gift is the hift of judgement, I pass along judgment to those who have greatly wronged the lord and return their lives to him, and now my revelation has given me my next target... you... the fake hero they call Steam Knight... I shall make you return that life to god." He said as he took a belt like thing from his bag and placed it around his waist, he then took out a handle like thing and pressed its top, he them connected the fist to the belt as an armoured formed around him.

Steam Knights eyes widened... the boy infront of him is now in am armour resembling the colour scheme he saw that night when he saw the dead body.

"EVERYONE GET OUT OF HERE!" S.K yelled as eveyconplied amd began running out of the area.

"Hmmm... smart, you do not want to add more to your crimes." He said.

"Let me ask you a question... 3 days ago, 9:00 PM were you with a man with short black hair, green eyes and is wearing a blacl suit?" S.K asked.

"Hmmmm... ah yes the sinner whose soul I returned to god, yes I was with him during his cleansing." He replied.

"Why did you kill him, HE WAS AN HONEST HARDWORKING MAN!?" Steam Knight yelled in anger.

"My revelation has told me so, his soul must be returned... and now yours will be returned as well." He said as he changed at S.K.

S.K and the transformed boy then crashed their forearms to each other hoping to push or over power the other.

"Y-Your very strong." The boy in white said as he struggled to push S.K.

"Thats the difference in experience kid!" S.Knsaid as he kicked the boy in the gut and sent him skidding back.

"Hahaha your strong... returning your life to god will prove to be a bit more difficult that I have originally thought." He said.

"I am not dying today you brat." Steam Knight said as he held his Steam Punk gun and Steam punk blade in each of his hands.

"Haha but you see your death is already predetermined by Fate." He said as he took out a weird gun amd turmed it into a sword.

"Dont you know kid... life is only 99% fate and destiny." Steam Knight said.

"Yeah and the other 1%?" He asked.

"Its hope." S.K replied.

"What?" He asked.

"I said Hope... everyone has it as long as you never stop fighting for what you believe in then your destiny is not yet set in stone." S.K said in response.

"BLASPHEMY! YOU DARE MOCH THE SACRED ORDER THAT OUR MIGHTY CREATOR HAS SET FOR US, YOU SHALL BE SLAIN!" He yelled in anger as he charged at S.K.

"-sigh- Religious fool." S.K said as he redied for a fight.

The boy then slashed at S.K only for his slashes to be parried and blocked, he then swung for anothe time but S.K only dodged to the left and kneed him in the gut forcing him to kneel on the ground, S.K then kicked him in the face that caused him to be launched a further back and slam into a pillar.

"Your inexperienced kid, have your so called 'Judgment' only gave you targets weaker than you?" S.K said.

"Shut up, god will have your life returned!" He yelled as he got back up.

S.K only sighed as he combined his blade and gun to creat the Steam punk Rifle.

He then took out a bottle with the molding of a tank and slid in into the guns slot.

TANK!

The boy them ran towards S.K as he just stood there in place as he waited for him to attack, and in the right time, when the boy was close enough Steam Knight stepped to the side and aimed his rifle towards the boys body and pressed the trigger, this caused the bly to be launched to a wall and knocking him unconscious.

S.K then began walking towards the unconscious boy when suddenly someone shot at him, he looked to the general direction of the bullet to find nothing there, he then returned his gaze to the boy... who was now also gone.

"Great... looks like we have a new enemy to deal with." S.K said as he lept away.

In Doc Alicia's lab

"So do you know anything about this guy doc?" Nate asked the good doctor.

"Both yes amd no, yes I know of THIS armour... but I have no knowledge of who the boy is." Alicia said as she analyse the armour.

"So what is it then, the armour I mean." Nate asked once more.

"It was a part of the foundations project to stop the bio-weapons if they ever turn against us, the project was being overseen by my good friend Jonah, he called it 'the Cross Knight' project... but he wasn't able to finish it in time since he -along with my other colleagues- were killed a year and a half ago." Alicia said.

"So his name is Cross Knight huh... I hope the next time we meet he is a bit more reasonable and willing to talk." Nate said.

"We can only hope, now return home Nate, I have to analyse this data." Alicia said.

"Sure thing doc, dont work too hard." Nate said as he ran towards the exit.

"Jonah my friend... what have you done now?" Alicia said as he saw the DNA strand of her friend Jonah and the DNA from the blood from the boy that a drone saw able to collect matched.

"Jonah... please tell me you didn't, but it is the only explanation... Jonah never had a son and as far as I'm aware he doesn't have any more living relatives." Alicia said as he looked at the screen again.

"Bio-weapons gone berserk was already a big problem enough now we have to deal with a rouge Knight being helped by... A mysterious group of people who believe they are messengers of god... -sigh- Nate... please stay strong." Alicia said.

Also Steam Knight (Nate) is not over powered he just have a better grasp on his armour that Cross Knight, besides Nate has been fighting bio-weapons for a year now, he already has alot lf experience in fighting foes stronger than him.

Thats all.
