This what if is based on one of my favourite franchise... pokemon.

If any of you are wondering my favourite pokemon is Lucario how bout you guys?

All characters had their ages reduced by 5 years for Seraphine and Nate, while 9 years for the K/DA girls.

Currently we see a white haired boy wearing a red and yellow jacket over a black shirt and black pants walking in the forrest with a blue and black bipedal pokemon with a large spike in its chest and the back of his hands, the boys name is Nate McGarden a pokemon ranger along with his trusty partner Lucario.

Currently Nate and Lucario were on Veridian forrest to investigate criminal activity from the wanted crime syndicate team Rocket, normally Nate wouldn't be seem in Kanto since this wasn't his station is, he is actually stationed in Kalos along with his Pokemon performer girlfriend Seraphine, but this time he wasn't able to refuse since not only did the request come from Prof. Sycamore... but also champion Diantha as well.

"Sense anything partner?" Nate asked his trusty partner.

'I don't sense anything Nate... are you sure we're in the correct place?" Lucario asked with the help of his aura.

"-sigh- This was the coordinates Solana gave me." Nate said as he checked his Xtransiever.

Suddenly they heard a loud explosion coming from nearby followed by the sound of a pained scream of both a person and a pokemon.

"LUCARIO USE EXTREAM SPEED TO GET THERE FAST, I'LL CATCH UP." Nate said.

Lucario simply nodded and vanished in the blink of an eye.

In the site of the explosion

Currently we see 5 men wearing black clothing with a large letter R on their chest, while a woman with black hair wearing a red dress was tending to her hurt pokemon.

"Ninetales are you ok!?" The girl asked worried for her pokemon.

The pokemon only gave her a weak cry before standing up and facing 5 Houndooms, now normally this wouldn't be much of a problem since Houndoom and Ninetales are both Fire type pokemon... hower the girls Ninetales wasn't a normal one... instead of the normal yellow coloration her Ninetales was an icy blue with a flowing white main and tails... this was a galarian Ninetales and Ice type pokemon, an Alolan Variant that has from the beautiful islands of Alola.

"No Ninetales stop!" The girl cried as she hugged her pokemon.

"Hahaha listen to your pokemon kid, run along and leave her with us." The leader said.

"NO I AM NOT LEAVING LEAVING HER BEHIND!" She yelled.

"The so be it, HOUNDOOMS FLAMETHROWER!" The leader yelled as the five Houndooms spewed a concentrated stream of orange flames towards the poor girl.

The black haired girl then hugged her hurt Ninetales as she braised herself for the attack... however it never came, she looked infront of her and saw a blue bipedal pokemon blocking the 5 flamethrower attacks with ease using stone edge.

The attack soon stopped and the 5 men were shocked to see that a giant stone blocked their attacks, the stone then shrunk back into the ground leaving a glaring Lucario in its place.

'We finally found you... team Rocket.' The Lucario said as he took a stance.

"D-Did that Lucario just talk?" A grunt asked shocked.

"Yeah it did, forget about the Ninetales, bag the Lucario and lets scram!" The leader yelled.

"Houndoom use bite!"

""Houndoom use flamethrower!""

"Houndoom use Crunch!"

"Houndoom use Fire Blast!"

The five Houndoom complied and launched each of their individual attacks, however they were all blocked or dodged by the Lucario who showed amazing skill in battle, the female was so impressed that she thought of capturing the Lucario after the battle.

After about 5 minutes of dodging continuously the 5 Houndooms were now beginning to loose steam and stagger, The Lucario took this opportunity and charged up his attack.

'TAKE THIS DRAGON PULSE!' The Lucario yelled at the dragon pulse attack hit all the Houndooms causing them to be no longer fit for battle.

The five Rocket members then returned their pokemon to their respective poke balls and proceeded to run away.

'I already know your aura... you may run but you cannot hide.' The Lucario said.

Suddenly he felt something approaching him from behind, he then did a backflip and landed perfectly on the ground all while catching... a poke ball in his hands, he looked at the girl who was in a throwing position.

'Don't push your luck missy.' The Lucario said as he threw the ball back at such high soeed that the girl wasn't able to react fast enough causing her to be hit in the head.

"Owie." The hirl said as she held her head.

"WHAT WAS THAT FOR!?" She yelled in anger.

'For trying to capture me, I only serve one master, and dont you forget it, also shouldn't you be more worried about her?' The Lucario said as he looked at the weak Alolan Ninetales.

The girl then looked beside her and saw her partner in pain, but she couldn't do anything since she doesn't have proper medical supplies since her friend Kai'sa usually have those in her bag.

"I'm so sorry Ninetales, please be ok." The hirl said as she hugged her pokemon.

'Don't worry she'll be just fine... besides my partner is here.' Lucario said as he looked towards the tree line.

The girl did the same and saw a boy younger than her wearing 'official' Pokemon Ranger uniform... with him was a girl wearing a fancy looking purple dress with a gold belt, purple tinted glasses and wedged high heels beside her was a pokemon with purple and green colour scheme.

"EVELYNN! TSAREENA!" The black haired girl yelled as she ran towards the girl and her pokemon with tears in her eyes.

"AHRI! Thank goodness your ok." The girl named Evelynn said.

"What happened?" Evelynn asked.

"A bunch of guys wearing black clothing suddenly jumped me and began attacking me, they wanted to take Ninetales away, so I fought them... but... there were too many of them... and Ninetales was overpowered... she told me to run... but... but I couldn't just leave her there." Ahri said as she began to cry.

Evelynn then hugged Ahri to try and stop her from crying any further.

"She'll be ok, remember your Ninetales isn't as weak as you may expect, she may be a contest pokemon... but she is still a tough cookie." Evelynn said.

Ahri then looked at Evelynn and back to her partner, she then wiped her tears and nodded.

"Now we need to get her to a pokemon Center... but where?" Evelynn said.

Ahri then began petting her Ninetales who wimpered silently as Ahri returned her to her Luxury ball.

"Viridian City is just north of here, just keep walking straight and you'll find the city." Nate said interjecting on the girl's conversation.

"Ummm... and you are?" Ahri asked.

"Oh right let me introduce you, this is Nate McGarden a Rank 8 Pokemon Ranger from Kalos, Nate this is my traveling companion Ahri." Evelynn said.

"Hi there, it's nice to see that Evelynn has made a new friend." Nate said with a smile.

"Wait you guys know each other?" Ahri asked.

"Yes actually, a few years ago -before I decided to start my journey- I was doing modelling work for a company BW talent agency in Unova, I was quite famous there and a lot of guys tried to hit on me, one day when I was out on a walk 4 men -along with their pokemon- jumped at me and asked me for a battle... back then Tsareena was only a Bounsweet and they had a flying type with them, then out of nowhere every single one of them were hit with a Dragon Pulse attack, when the dust cleared I saw Nate standing in the middle with his Lucao, and the rest is history." Evelynn said.

"Wow... so you've been friends for a long time huh... WAIT THAT DOES'NT MATTER WE NEED TO GET NINETALES TO A POKEMON CENTER QUICK!" Ahri said in a panic.

"Don't worry, Lucario said that Ninetales isn't in any real danger, besides... our rides are here." Nate said as he looked up.

Ahri and Evelynn also did the same, suddenly they saw a giant white and blue pokemon with giand wing-like hands, it gave a mighty cry and landed beside Nate as the pokemon nuzzled its head on Nate as he gave the pokemon a pat.

"Thank you for coming Lugia, well ladies hop on." Nate said as Lugia lowered her head to allow the three humans and their pokemon to hop on.

At the Viridian City Pokemon Center

2 girls were currently in the pokemon center talking to a female pokemon ranger with a minun on her shoulder, the 2 girls were asking the ranger to look for their 2 other friends who went missing in the forrest when a pack of Beedrills chased them, but despite the ranger constantly telling them that their 2 friends were fine they were not too convinced.

"Please just go there and look for them." A girl with light purple hair said, she wore a long purple jacket with the picture of a neon Dragapult on it and black shorts and leggings, and beside her floated her faithful partners Ninjask and Shedinja.

"-sigh- Maam I already told you your friends are fine." Solana said while massaging her temple.

"How do you know, what if they are hurt, or in trouble, or-" A girl with dark purple hair wearing a purle and black jacket with black skinny jeans began to panic, luckily for her a pokemon with a brown and blue colour palette held her hand to calm her down, the girl looked to her side and saw her Hitmontop looking worried, she then took a deep breath an squatted down to reasure her pokemon.

"Sorry Hitmontop, I didn't mean to worry you, I'm just a bit worried for Eve and Ahri." She revealed, her pokemon understood and gave her a hug which she returned with a smile.

"Miss Kai'sa, Miss Akali please do not worry, I just received confirmation that your friends -Evelynn and Ahri- are being transported here to the center by one of Kalos's top Rangers, so you have no more need to worry." Solana said with a smile.

Hearing those words made Kai'sa and Akali take a sigh of relief, suddenly the breeze began to pick up as if a storm was coming, the winds were so strong that Akali's Ninjask and Shedinja had to hold on to Akali to not get blown away.

"Oh and it would seem they are here." Solana said as she looked at the sky.

The 2 girls did the same and what they saw made their jaws hang low... flying above is the legendary pokemon that guards the seas... Lugia... and riding on top of this mighty beast was a boy with white hair.

The legendary Pokemon then began descending in a slow manner to not accidentally throw her passengers off, when the giant pokemon landed Ahri and Evelynn jumped off.

""AHRI! EVELYNN!"" Kai'sa and Akali yelled as they ran towards the girls to hug them, however Ahri didn't even notice her 2 friends and just ran straight into the pokemon center to get her faithful partner healed.

"Wait wha?" Akali said confused.

"Did something happen?" Kai'sa asked.

"Her Ninetales is injured, she's just worried about her, no need to worry." Evelynn said as her Tsareena walked beside her.

"Sir Nate did you find anything?" Solana asked the younger boy.

"At ease Solana, and both yes and no, Lucario found some rocket members but they got away, lucky Lucario was able to memorise their Auras, we'll get em soon." Nate said with a smile as he and his Lucario bumped fist.

"Understood sir... so what should I do now?" Solana asked her senior officer.

"Hmmm... Lets see... ah there it is, I need you to ho to Alola." Nate said as he looked at his modified Ctransiever.

"For vacation sir!?" Solana asked excitedly.

"Hahaha sadly no Solana, the international Police asked for assistance on a case, and the Ranger Corp. decided to get 3 of the best Rangers in hand... and I volunteered you." Nate said.

"R-Really sir?" Solana asked.

"Yes, you've been working hard for the past months, and I believe with ypur assistance in this case your ranger rank will go up as well." Nate said.

Solana only smiled and hugged the slightly shorter boy.

"OHHHH THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU SIR! I PROMISE TO NOT LET YPU DOWN!" Solana said excitedly.

"I know you wouldn't, not I'm also counting on you Minun, keep her safe ok." Nate said.

The little red pokemon only gave a cry of delight and confirmation as she ribbed cheeks with her partner.

"Ok, now go back to HQ I already notified them about your new mission, good luck." Nate said.

"Will do sir!" Solana said as she ran towards a Staraptor that was waiting for her on a tree as She went off to the Ranger HQ.

Nate then looked at the 3 girls and saw they were no longer there, she then walked inside the center and saw them sitting together, they were comforting the black haired girl who was slightly crying.

Nate then smiled and walked towards the crying girl.

"Here." Nate said as he handed her a small piece of candy.

"W-what is it?" Ahri asked.

"It's candy that my girlfriend made me, try it, maybe you'll feel a bit better." Nate said.

Ahri then looked at the candy and back at Nate who only gave her a goofy smile, she then looked at Evelynn who gave a knod of confirmation, Ahri then looked at the candy and grabbed it, she then unwrapped it and popped the pink candy in her mouth.

"Oh wow... it's very tasty... thank you." Ahri said.

"Listen... you don't have to worry about ypur Ninetales, Nurse Joy is doing what she does best, you just have to make sure to believe." Nate said.

Ahri then wiped her tears as she gave a smile.

"I can't believe your being consoled by a little kid." Akali said.

"This little kid happens to be an 8th rank ranger in the ranger corp." Nate said a bit irritated that people mistakes him for a kid playing pretend.

"W-What?" The 2 girl said.

"Oh right I haven't introduced you girls to him, well Kai'sa, Akali this is my friend Nate, he is also an 8th rank ranger in the corp. he may look young but he is actually one of the best rangers in the world, Leon the Galar champion, Diatha the Kalos Champion, and Cynthia the Sinnoh Champion all recognise his and his Lucario's strength." Evelynn said.

"W-Wait now I remember you, you had an exhibition match with Cynthia a year ago!" Akali said in shock.

"Haha yeah I did." Nate said.

"Wow... so did Cynthia win... I mean of course she did, her Garchomp is unbeatable." Ahri said.

"Actually we tied." Nate said.

"What?!" Kai'sa, Akali and Ahri yelled in shock.

"Didn't you guys watch it?" Evelynn asked.

"N-No, I was preparing for a contest back then." Akali said.

"Me too." Ahri said

"I was practicing for a routine for a performance that day." Kai'sa said.

"Wow, I can't believe you hirls missed one of the most epic battles in history." Evelynn said.

"Hahaha well... I can tell you guys the story of how that fight came to be ifyou want, it's actually fairly stupid how we decided to have an official match." Nate said.

""YEA PLEASE!"" Ahri, Akali, and Kai'sa said.

Flashback
No PoV

It was a normal day in the station, Nate was a rank 6 ranger back then, He was quietly doing paperwork work in his desk when all of a sudden Cynthia bust in the building while fighting a rouge Salamence.

"WHAT THE F**K IS GOING ON!?" Nate yelled as he fell back in my chair in surprise.

Apparently Cynthia visited Kalos for an exhibition match with Diatha, she decided to go exploring and stubbled upon the ranger base that I currently work at, you see Nate was stationed in a small ranger base in the outskirts of Lumiose City, since there were plenty of travelers using that route it was the most likely place were thieves and wild pokemon would go.

"Uhhh sorry for the door... and windows... and wall... don't worry I'll pay for it." Cynthia said as her Garchomp was fighting with the Salamence.

"Wait... I know that Salamence, STOP STOP STOPPPPP!" Nate yelled.

Suddenly the fight stopped, Nate called his trusty Lucario out and together they walked towards the angry Salamence.

"Hey buddy... do you remember me? It's me Nate... we always play together during fridays, remember... we go on flights and I wash you up nice and clean... rememberer?" Nate said as He walked towards the Salamence.

Cynthia then ordered her Garchomp to stand down for now.

The Salamence then began to calm down as Nate reached for some Candy in his back pocket.

"Here... have this... I'll make you feel better." Nate said as he tossed a candy into its mouth... and with that he calmed a rampaging Salamence down.

"-sigh- My goodness that scared the crap out of me, now you go on home and no more causing fights, I already had to deal with 3 piles of papers because of your tantrums." Nate said as the Salamence smiled and flew away.

"Wow... that was amazing." Cynthia said as her Garchomp walked beaide her.

"Flattery won't pay for the damages you know." Nate replied with a bored tone.

"Y-Yeah... sorry." She said.

"Hahaha I'm kidding, its all good, but you do have to pay for damages though." Nate said revealing his kind smile.

"Yeah sure... also that was cool, how you handled thag rampaging Salamence, you must be very good at your job." Cynthia said.

"Thank you, but I still have a lot to learn before I can be a full fledge Ranger, right Lucario?" Nate asked his trusty partner.

'You are too humble Nate, no matter how you see it your special, you developed a new type of Capture gear, became the youngest Ranger to reach 6th rank only after 3 years on duty, some of the senior officers in the corp. are only rank 5 yet here you are." Lucario said.

"I just got lucky is all, beaides I have an awesome partner to help me." Nate said.

'Luck had nothing with it, you have skill, and you should be more confident about it, also thanks.' Lucario said via aura.

"Wow a Lucario that has completely mastered its aura, amazing... hey how about a battle?" Cynthia said.

"A battle huh... sure, I guess that would be ok." Nate said happily.

"Cool." Cynthia said.

Pokemon Ranger Battle arena

Nate and Cynthia were currently on the Pokemon rangers battle arena, the two were facing each other, Lucario was already out of his poke ball ready to fight, while Cynthia had no pokemon out.

"So who are you gonna use?" Nate asked.

"This one, OK LUCARIO YOUR UP!" Cynthia said as she tossed a poke ball.

Within that pokeball emerged the same bipedal blue hound-like pokemon with a blue coloration, it gave off a mighty roar that caused a small shockwave which Nate's Lucario just shrugged off.

"Hooo~?" Nate said as he eyed the other Lucario.

"This is my Lucario, my teams 2nd strongest." She said.

"I see... well them I'll let you have the 1st move Cynthia." Nate said.

"Such a gentlemen, OK LUCARIO USE BULLET PUNCH!" Cynthia said as her Lucario closed the gap between them.

In am instant Cynthia's Lucario appeared infront on Nate's Lucario releasing a flurry of attacks, however without being told what to do Nate's Lucario began dodging effortlessly... and without moving from where he was standing, Cynthia saw this and was shocked, True that Garchomp was her strongest but her Lucario was nothing to sneeze at, so she was shocked to see his Lucario dodging all the strikes effortlessly.

"Lucario grab its arm." Nate said calmly.

The moment Cynthia's Lucario did another punch Nate's Lucario grabbed it by its fist shocking the Lucario.

"Power-up punch." Nate calmly said.

Nate's Lucario's fist was then engulfed in orange light as it quickly delivered a punch to the gut that caused the other Lucario to take a Knee.

"W-What... h-how is your Lucario so string?" Cynthia asked.

"Lucario and I have been together for many years, we shared everything, our dreams, our struggles, our success and our trust, so me and Lucario are'nt just pokemon and trainer... we're family, LUCARIO FINISH IT USE AURA SPHERE POINT BLANK!" Nate yelled.

Nate's Lucario then lifted its hand towards at the kneeling Lucario's face as a blue orb formed in its hand, Nate's Lucario looked at her Lucario.

'Train for a few more years and you'll probably be a more descent challenge.' Nate's Lucario said as he blasted the other Lucario causing a giant dust cloud to form.

As soon as the dust settled it was revealed that Cynthia's Lucario was now unable to battle as Nate's Lucario stood proudly and began walking back to his partner.

"Lucario!?" Cynthia said as she ran towards her Lucario, she then took out a few medicines and gave it to her Lucario before returning it into its ball.

"Your Lucario is very strong." Nate said.

"How can you say that when your Lucario not only didn't move from where it was standing, but two shoted my Lucario." Cynthia said.

"Well I ment strong in normal Lucario standards, My Lucario isn't like other Lucario's." Nate said.

"How so?" Cynthia asked.

"Thats a secret, well I have to go back to work." Nate said.

Suddenly Cynthia grabbed him by his shoulder and gave him a glare.

"I want a rematch!" She said.

End of flashback
Nate PoV

"I then began refusing her offers for a rematch since we rangers are usually very busy but she wouldn't take no for an answer, I then began seeing her whenever I go out on patrol, or buying groceries, or even during our Training, dear Arceus I even saw her on one of my dates, in the end -in fear of going crazy- I decided to agree to the rematch, but I didn't knownit would be televised." Insaid with a smile.

"Ohhhh... that sounds tough, but I am impressed that you managed to beat her Lucario, if I remember correctly Cynthia fought Steven with that Lucario and won, and you beat it without much effort." Akali said with a smile.

"You're as impressive as always Nate." Evelynn said.

"Yeah your amazing... thanks for saving us by the way... we really appreciate it." Ahri said.

"Yeah, thanks for saving both her and Eve." Kai'sa said as she bowwed.

"No need to thank me, I am always happy to help others." I said, suddenly my Xtransiever began to ring.

"Pardon me." I said as I answered the call to see my beautiful pink haired princess Seraphine.

"Hi Sera." I said with a smile.

'Hi Nate sorry for calling so abruptly, but I really miss you so much... when are you coming home?' She said with a lonely tone.

"Sera I told you this is not a short mission, but I promise as soon as I get back we'll spend the entire week together." I said with a smile.

'You promise?' She asked with a pout.

"I promise." I said with a smile.

'Ok... Oh by the way Lopunny says hi to Lucario, she's a bit busy right now though.' Seraphine said.

"I'll be sure to tell him." I replied.

My girlfriend Seraphine has a wonderful partner that she had ever since we were little kids, and she always had a crush on Lucario, and the moment Sera decided to confess her feelings to me her Lopunny also followed suite and confessed to my Lucario, it was funny to see my usually calm and stoic partner flushed red with embarrassment.

"Hey Nate who are ypu talking to?" Evelynn asked.

'Who was that Nate?' Seraphine asked.

"Oh she's one of the girls I saved during my mission, she also happens to be a friend, Sera I'd like you to meet-" I was cut off by Sera.

'Evelynn?' She said.

"Seraphine?" She replied.

'OMG OMG OMG ITS BEEN SOOOOO LONG HOW ARE YOU!?' Seraphine asked excitedly.

"I've been good darling, oh wait, Ahri, Kai'sa, Akali, Seraphine is here!" Evelynn said.

"REALLY!? HI SERA!" Ahri said.

Suddenly they took off my Xtransiever off my weist and pushed me off.

"HI SERA ITS BEEN TOO LONG!" Ahri said with a smile.

"HOW HAVE YOU BEEN GIRL?!" Akali said as she got close to the camera.

"HI THERE SERA, ARE YOU DOING OK!?" Kai'sa said excitedly.

And then there was me lying on the floor.

"Ow... guess you guys know each other?" I asked.

'Yup we were part of this pokemon performer x Coordinator group called K/DA we were a hit back then, but we decided to take a break for a bit.' Seraphine said.

"I see." I replied with a smile.

Suddenly Nurse Joy walked towards us along with Ahri's Alolan Ninetales.

"NINETALES!" Ahri said as she and her pokemon ran at each other and gave one another a hug.

"I'm so glad your ok." Ahri said as she cried a bit.

"Well since your all back together now, I have to go." I said as I stood up and ended the call with Seraphine.

"Where are you going Nate?" Akali asked.

I then walked towards tge door, stopped infront of it and turned my head back to face them.

"I'm gonna defuse a rocket." I said as I walked out of the center.

Reason for their partners.

Nate and Lucario- I just really like Lucario alot so I gave him to my OC

Seraphine and Lopunny- I wanted Seraphine to have a partner that is tough, graceful, and cute, and the first thing that came to my mind was Lopunny, but the I decided to hive her a shiny one since it was pink.

Akali and her Ninjask and Shedinja- Akali is a Ninja... it makes sense, also I gave her a Shedinja as well since in the games if you have a Nincada and an open slot in your party you will automatically get a Shedinja.

Evelynn And Tsareena- Tsareena is literally a queen pokemon and with her specially being on kicking her opponents I couldn't imagine anything better suited for Evelynn, also Tsareena's shiny for is perfect for her.

Kai'sa And Hitmontop- I honestly almost gave Kai'sa Beheeyem since you know space, bit then I remembered about Hitmontop and its habit of dancing when fighting, so I gave her Hitmontop.

Ahri and Alolan Ninetales- 2 words 'Spirit' And 'Blossom' also come on Nine tales for the Nine Tails, it's perfect.
