I found myself waiting outisde the school building at night, waiting for my teacher to take me to his twin brother's dojo. The whole thing felt so weird and unnatural to me. Some would think of it as inappropiate in a whole new level. Either way, I was still freezing up impatiently. It was almost December, just one week away, which mean that the weather would get more harsh.  There was already ice on the roads  and the air was so cold that you could see your own breath. What made it even worse was that I was wearing a skirt and the warmest thing I had on me was a hat. Where the hell is he?

Mr. Fernandez finally walked out from the building with a cup of steaming hot chocolate and his leather satchel. I huffed at gave him a stern look. "What took you so long? I thought I would die of hypothermia out here!"

"I had to do some stuff, okay! Just be glad I got you something to waem you up." He handed me the drink, and I swiped it from his hand, taking a sip from the cup. I was immediately warmed up, sending chills through my body. "That hit the spot," I sighed. "Are we ready to go?"

"Ready when you are."

Mr. Fernandez had a black Toyota that looked brand new. A pair of fuzzy dice hung from his view mirror, moving around after every turn. "Thanks again," I muttered. "For introducing me to your brother."

"Don't worry about it," he said. "I was due for a visit with him anyways."

"So which twin is older? And do you both look identical? Did you guys do those twin things like pull pranks and stuff?"

"Whoa, one question at a time!" He chuckled. "Okay, first question: He's the eldest twin, but we have an older sister name Wisteria. Second question: We are identical, but he has a tatoo over hiseye-."

"Yeah, the one of the Divine Chakra. I've read an article about him," I interrupted.

"Yeah, that thing,"  he said. "And the final question: we were the bestest of friends when we were little. We did the old switheroo  with my parents, shared a bedroom--even a bed--, and played with each other every day."

"Sounds like a normal twin relationship," I said, breaking into a smile.

"Yeah, it was pretty fun...at least, until high school started."

"What happened during high school?" Before he could answer my question, he pulled up on a building that read "Mystogan's Dojo." I stared at it with wonder and thought, I'm actually here..I'm going to meet Mystogan-sensei! I rapidly snapped the seatbelt open and jumped out of the car, too excited to keep in my energy. I looked back to see Mr. Fernandez still getting out of the car. "Hurry up, slow poke!"

"Alright, alright!" When we walked into the heated building, I didn't think of it as a dojo.

I thought it was heaven.

The equipment were state of the art weapons and practice gear that costed over 10000000 Jewels! Awards were mounted on the wall, all with Mystogan's awards. The floor was was perfect for any kind of barefooted event. I smelled the scent of leather and rubber in the dojo, along with the fresh scent of bamboo and saukra flowers. I looked back at Mr. Fernandez, my mind still blown. "I've never set foot in this place before. It's so...It's so...-!"

"Like my brother. Trying to make the place look so serene when he's actually-."

"LITTLE BROTHER!" A loud voice yelled. I flinched and slowly turned around to see another Mr. Fernandez, but in a yukata instead of a suit. He had a youthful smile on his face, looking like a complete fool. He ran up and jumped on Mr. Fernandez, squealing, "Your big brother has missed you so much!"

"It's nice to see you too, Mysty," he groaned, trying to push is brother away. Mystogan continued to smother his little brother until he finally noticed me. He slowly released his brother and walked up to me, examining me from head to toe. He suddenly began sniff my body, making me flinch with shock. "You're a Scarlet, aren't you?"

My eyes widened. "H-How did you know?"

"You have his eyes. Hiro's eyes, that is."

"Y-You know my grandfather?" I gasped.

"Well yeah! Our grandparents were trained in the same dojo in Lasmiser back in the Stone Age!"

"Stone Age?" Mr. Fernandez scoffed. "It was fifty-five years ago."

"That's still Stone Age for us, little brother!" He exclaimed, smothering his brother once again. "So, why are you two here?"

"I, um, would like to recieve training for you," I stammered, bowing in front of him for respect. This caught Mystogan-sensei's attention. He walked forward in front of me and asked, "What makes you so special that you can just waltz into my dojo and simply ask for my teachings?"

His attitude was mirroring Mr. Fernandez's normal attitude. I gulped and said with pride, "I am a full-dedicated student who will take countless hours of training just to be able be guided as a sensei as talented as you are!"

Mystogan looked at me, and then Mr. Fernandez, and then back at me. "Fifty laps around the perimeter in less than ten minutes. Now!"

Immediately, I began to sprint my way out of the building and ran around the perimeter, determined to please Mystogan-sensei at all costs.

I stared at my brother with disbelief. "Why on earth would you make her do something like that in this kind of weather!"

"So I could talk to you, little brother," he sighed.

"To me? Why talk to me?"

"I just wanted to make sure we aren't dealing with another....'incident'."  I stared at him for a moment with a horrified look. I angrily took out a cigarette and lit it up, and took a puff out of it. "I thought we were never speaking of that again!"

"I'm just making sure!" He said in his defense. "Last time you were intimate with someone-."

"She is a student, Mystogan!" I yelled.

"I know, but that doesnt that you're little 'man parts' aren't tingling. She is an attractive girl."

"Mystogan, I'm twenty three!" I yelled, my voice echoing through the dojo. "She's a freaking teenager! Why do you have to speak like that!' My twin sighed and rested his hand on my shoulder. "I'm just trying to protect you.  You were really.....not you after everything ended."

"Nice use of grammar," I scoffed.

Mystogan sighed with frustration. "Have you always been this ignorant?"

I shot a glare at him. "Have you always been this nosey," I hissed. Before he coud answer, Erza came sprinting in, coming to a complete stop in front of us. We looked at her with astonishment. Mystogan looked at the clock on the west side of the wall whistled. "Six minutes. Impressive."

"Damn, really! I usually can do four," she said with a pained look on her face. I stared at her even more. This girl was exactly as I thought she was: weird. I've never seen a girl break into a sweat and try as hard as her just to get into a dojo. This girl practically had frozen sweat on her face, and pit stains were slightly hidden from her shirt. I looked over at Mystogan, who had a blank, professional expression. "Do you really want to be a part of my dojo?"

Erza smiled. "That would mean the world to me if you'd let me!"

Mystogan smiled. "Come with me."

Mystogan took Erza and me into the training hall. He walked behind a small table with six cinderblocks stacked on top of it. He gestured to the stack and said, "This is your test."

"My test?" She asked.

"Your test to to chop this stack of cinderblocks in half in just one gesture. Only then will I take you as my student."

"Are you mad!" I yelled. "She could critically injure her hand!"

"It's alright, Mr. Fernandez. I've got this," she said with confidence. I turned to her with shock. "Erza, you don't have to do this! I can just-."

"This is the best dojo in all of Fiore. I don't want any second-rate sensei. I want him," she urged me. She walked behind the stack and took Mystogan's place. He stood by my side. "If she gets hurt, it's all your fault," I whispered.

"Stop being such a wuss," Mystogan whispered back. "I know what I'm doing."

We closely examined Erza as she took some deep breathers. She touched stack with her hands, sliding her dainty looking fingers across the surface. When she stopped sliding her fingers, her eyes flickered at once spot. She then closed her eyes and raised her left arm.

Then, Bam!

Rocks were suddenly flying everywhere, attacking Mystogan and I. We examined Erza's results and were astonished. She did it. She actually did it. The stack of thick, heavy cinderblcok were cut in half cleanly, barely any rigged ends. My mouth dropped, and Mystogan smiled. "Congratulations. You have earned my teachings."

She smiled brightly. "Really! Thank you, thank you so much! I swear, I won't disappoint you!"

"I hope not," he chuckled. He looked at me and said, "Take the girl home."

I gulped and nodded, still astounded by what I just saw.

As I was driving her back to her home, she was still smiling greatly. Her hands were probably shaking with excitement. "I still can't thank you enough! You have no idea how much this meant to me!"

"It's not a problem. Just wanted to help," I smiled. "You sure are talented."

She blushed. "Thanks. Martial Arts is my life."

"I can tell. Your smile won't go away."

She touched her face and chuckled. "Yeah, I guess you're right." Suddenly, one of our cell phones were ringing the same ring tone. We both went to grab our phones, and for a brief moment, our hands touched. I had a late reaction and quickly drew my hand back, apologizing. Her face blazing read, she took her phone and answered it.

Goddammit Jellal, what's wrong with you! I scolded myself

After that, the rest of the car ride was awkward, quiet, but most of all, flooded with feeling and confusion.
