The gym teacher takes the class to the frozen lake for hockey and skating. While walking, Griffin came up behind her and said: "I hope you've been learning how to swim...cause today you're going in!" Angel got nervous but she remembered what Colt said about standing up for yourself. Angel took a metal pole in case she needs to defend herself, she practiced protecting herself with the pole until she gets cornered by her bullies.
"What do you think you're gonna do with that?" Griffin asked.
"I'm gonna hit you with it..." Angel said. "If you try anything..."
"Really!? Wow!" Griffin laughed. The other two boys laughed with him. "You know what I think? I don't think you're gonna do a fucking thing." Griffin said with an angry expression
"I think you're just gonna stand there like the weak little girl you are...and I'm gonna grab that stick...and shove it up your ass," Griffin said. "Then, you're going swimming!" The gym teacher was looking at the 4 kids and one of Griffin's friends told him to leave Angel alone otherwise they'd get into trouble. "Give me the stick..." Griffin said. "No!" Angel yelled. "Give me the stick!" Griffin shouted. He got closer to Angel but she acted quickly and hit Griffin with the stick on his ear! Griffin was screaming because his ear was broken and bleeding. "Are you crazy!?" Griffin's friend said. The gym teacher wants to check in on them, but he's distracted by the sudden screams of a bunch of kids: they've found Jack's body in the lake. At the principal's office, Angel, her mom, and the principal were discussing her actions this afternoon. "Give me one reason why I shouldn't expel you, Angel..." the principal said. "You're a smart girl, you don't want to be going down the wrong path don't you?" "Angelina is a good girl, she'd never do something like that..." Angel's mother said. "Right Angel?" But Angel interjected and said "THEY WERE BULLYING ME! I DID WHAT I HAD TO DO!" The principal froze and said: "Alright, I suppose I'll take responsibility for that...but you still get punished. One week of detention."
  When Angel and her mother got home, they are visited by the detective wanting to ask some questions. "Angel go to your room..." Angel's mother said. Angel went to her room and was watching through the window, she sees cops investigating Jack's apartment.
  Afterward, she sends Colt a message with Morse code but he doesn't reply because the detective is ringing his doorbell. When he sees who is it through his peephole, he decides not to answer, and the officer eventually leaves.
