Their Perfect Worlds
"Awwwwh" I gasped.
My eyes popped open as I sat up in bed. I looked around my room in a frantic. Checking the......walls.........why was I checking the walls? Was I expecting something to be there and why was I so startled? I brushed my hands through my pale blond hair, bushing my side bangs back out of my face. I was breathing heavy and gasping for air, I began to inhale long breaths of air trying to calm myself down. Wait.........why am I in my bed? Wasn't I just in.........in the.........in the......for some reason I can't remember. Just then my bedroom door opened.
"Oh, Princess Elsa, you're up," the maid said as she walked into the room, her eyes spotting me.
Princess? Why does that sound so......so strange. The maid walked over to the curtains in my room and pushed them open, letting the bright rays of the sun light up the room. She looked at me and I guessed she saw my puzzled face because she asked...
"Are you alright Princess Elsa?"
I shook my head back and forth, trying to shake off the strange feeling. "No, I'm fine. Thank you for asking."
She gave me a smile of relief, "Well, I'll leave you to get dress." She began to walk to my bedroom door, her hand clutching the door knob. She pulled the door open and she turned around to look at me.
"Also, Anna, your mother and father are waiting for you in the dining room for breakfast."
"Mother?.........Father?" I said my voice surprised to hear those two words.
The maid looked at me with concern. "Yes, your mother and father."
I was silent, sitting in bed with a shock expression on my face. Why was I so surprised to know that mother and father where here? That they were right in the dining room waiting for me?
"Elsa," the maid said snapping me out of my thinking. I looked at her and she looked at me like she thought that I was crazy.
"Are you sure your okay Princess?" She asked
I gave her smile, "Yes, I'm fine. It's just........."
"It's just......?"
I shook my head, "It's just it feels like I have forgotten something......something important."
"It's probably nothing. Don't make a big deal about it. Kay?"
"Kay," I said reassuring her. She nodded and gave me a smile, then she turned around and walked out the door leaving me in my room. I sighed, this strange feeling, it feels like I'm forgetting something that I should do or need to do or.........someone. But for some reason...I can't remember, I can't remember the past few years for some reason.
I shook my head, maybe I'm just delusional. I got out of bed, throwing the covers off of me, my feet touched the cold wooden floor sending chills up my spine. I wrapped my arms around myself as the cold spread through my body.
"Since when did this damn floor become so cold," I said to myself walking over to my closet.
I opened my closet door, all my clothes were hanged up on the wooden rack. My eyes scanned the rows of clothes when I noticed something, my hand moved over the row of clothes feeling the soft fabric they were made of. Something was gone, a dress or a shirt what ever it was, it was gone. All I remember of the missing piece of clothing is that it was turquoise blue, that was all I remembered. I shrugged my shoulders, it would probably show up, eventually. I grabbed a white button down shirt and black jeans and slipped them on, I grabbed a pair of white socks, slipping them on my cold feet.
I then went over to the bathroom in my room, looking myself in the mirror. My bright blue eyes still had sleep in them and my pale blond hair was a mess. I turned the sink on and splashed water in my face feeling refresh and awake. I grabbed a towel and dried my face off, I grabbed my brush and combed my hair, getting all the tangles out of it. I braided my hair and then I finally grabbed my bangs and flipped them out of my face, making me look how I always looked.
I walked out of my room and down to the dining room, maids and butlers said,"Good Morning" to me as I walked passed them. That's funny, I don't remember there being so many servants in the castle before.
When I got to the dining room, I opened the door and I was meeting a group of smiling faces. Dad was at the head of the rectangle table, mom was sitting to the right side of him, facing me, Anna was next to mom and that's when I notice the boy who was sitting next to Anna. My eyes froze on the boy who was next to Anna, he looked awfully familiar for someone I can't even remember and had I feeling that he was trouble.
"Good morning, Elsa," My mom said snapping me out of my trance.
"Morning mother, father, Anna," I said flashing a smile on all of them.
"Good morning Elsa, please sit," My father said gesturing me to have a seat next to him. I nodded and I pulled out the seat that was in front of my mother. As I sat down I eyed my mother, her eyes scanning my face. I gestured to the boy who was sitting next to Anna, at first she was confused on what I was saying. I sighed and gave her a look that said, "who the heck is that?" She quickly caught on.
"Elsa, you remember Prince Hans from the southern Isles," my mother said while gesturing to "Hans".
"Good morning, Princess" he said flashing me a smile.
"Good morning Prince Hans and may I ask...what business do you have with Arendelle?" I asked trying not to sound rude.
"Why Elsa don't you remember...he' s my fiancee," Anna said butting into the conversation.
"Fiancee! But Anna what about Kri-" I stopped as I expression of confusion took over my face. What was I about to say, more importantly, who's name was I about to say. Kris, Kristopher, Kristchen, who's name was I about to say. I remembered Anna had a boyfriend, not a fiancee and I'm damn sure it was not this Hans boy.
"Elsa?" Anna said with confusion in her voice, I looked at her.
"What about...who?"
I gave her a smile putting my elbows on the table as I rubbed my forehead with the tips of my fingers on my right hand. Hans and Anna looked at me waiting for an answer, a servant had came into the room bringing glasses of water into the room. He began placing a glass of water in front if each person on the table.
"I think I'm loosing my mind or maybe I'm just tired, Anna. But I could've sworn that-"
Just then I saw the servant accidentally knock over the glass of water in front of me. The water fell out if the glass and it began to splash onto me, I put my hand up about ready to fr.........freeze it?! Water splashed all over me getting me soaked, the servant looked at me wide eyed.
"Oh, Princess I'm so sorry, I didn't, I didn't-"
"Don't worry it's fine. I'll just go change, it's no big deal, really," I said reassuring him. The servant looked at me and smiled.
"Again, my apologize Princess," he said as he cleaned up the mess.
"No it's alright and please......call me Elsa."
"Elsa," he said giving me a smile and I nodded my head.
"Elsa, do you want us to wait for you before we eat breakfast."
"No, I wasn't hungry anyway. You go ahead," I said as I walked out the door.
I began to done the hallway to my room. Did I just thought I could freeze water with my hands? Ha ha ha ha, that's silly, I am just a plain human and all. I don't have powers or anything, what am I Jack Frost. Ha ha ha ha, that's ridiculous, he doesn't even exist. Ice powers, I really do have an wild imagination, just like my parents kept telling me. I walked to my room, walking off the rest of the strange feeling I had this morning and all the strange imaginations I had.
❄Somewhere in a little town far far away from Arendelle❄
I woke up, a ray of sun hitting my eyes.
I sighed, ugh, time to get up. I yawned as I sat up in my bed, stretching my arms and my muscles. The warm rays of the sun touching my shirt less torso, I got up out of my old and torn out bed. Well, I can't really complain, we couldn't live well do to the amount mother and......father? Why am I so surprised to say "my father"? I shrugged, oh well, anyway the point is that we are poor, my mother and father barely make enough money to get food on the table for me and Jill. I understood what they were going through, so there was no reason to complain.
I walked over to my "bathroom" if you can even call it that. it was just a room with a bath tub, a toilet, a sink, and I round piece of glass that was cracked at the edges, this was a "mirror" or it at least can be called one. I walked over to the sink that was hooked up to the wall on the far side of the room. I placed my hands on the side of the sink and I looked at myself in the mirror, I jumped when I saw my reflection. Brown hair and brown eyes, wait.........why was I so surprised to see my reflection, I've always looked like this, right? I cupped my chin with my hand and I started turning my head to the side, scanning every each of my face in the mirror. Yep, same old me, nothing changed, nothing new.
I shrugged my shoulders and walked over to my closet, pulling out a white t-shirt and brown pants. I slipped them on, I had just got finished pulling them on when I heard My bedroom door open.
"Jack!" My little sister said running to me.
"Jill," when she got to me I picked her up in my arms and spun her around. I placed her on my hip as my hand wrapped around her waist holding up, she wrapped her arms around my neck.
"It's about time you work up," she said, I raised an eyebrow up at her.
"Is that anyway to say good morning to your brother?" I asked her in a harsh tone. She looked at me bashful.
"Sorry, morning Jack," she said and she kissed my cheek.
I chuckled, "morning Jill," I said and pecked her on the cheek.
"Where's mother and father?" I asked putting her down back on the ground.
"They're in the dining room, mommy just made breakfast."
I smiled, "then what are we doing here? When we can be eating mother's delicious food," I said as I rubbed her head, messing up her hair.
"Hey, stop it!" She protested as she tried to fix her hair.
"Ha ha ha, come on let's go eat."
She stuck her tongue at me, I stuck my tongue out at her. She giggled and said, "kay".
We walked out of my room, shutting the door behind me. It didn't make us to walk into the room that was our kitchen, dining room, and living room, let's just call it the main room. Mother was setting plates of food on the wooden table that was in the middle of the room, dad was helping setting the table. They both looked at me and Jill.
"Good morning, Jack," my mother said flashing me a smile.
"Good morning Mother, Father," I said looking at the both of them.
"Good morning, son" He said giving me a smile then he noticed Jill.
He smiled, "and how is my little ray of sunshine doing?"
"Morning daddy," she walking over to daddy giving him a kiss on the cheek, having to stand on her tiptoes to reach him.
"Mother," she said doing the same thing she did to daddy.
I sat down at the table, a wooden fork laid in front of me on the table. My wooden clay mug was in front of me filled with water, I picked the cup up taking a sip out of it. Father sat in front of me across the table, Jill sat on the right side of me and mother's chair was on the left side of me, still empty as she placed our food in front of us. I looked up at my dad.
"Dad, do I have to come with you to work today?"
On the weekends I go help dad at the shop, he's the black Smith for the whole town and weekends are usually one of their most busiest days. I don't know why, but people just seem swarm to the black smiths to get their swords polished or fixed, it's just chaos. My dad sighed and looked at me, he didn't like me having to help, but if I came to the black smiths his boss would pay me as well. So we would get extra money. It's not easy for my parents...they were poor, had two kids, they weren't able to give us the life they wanted for us, but this was all I needed. I didn't want a fancy house or nice new clothes, I just needed them, my family, I would rather have my family than nice polished wooden walls and clothes for every day of the week.
"I'm sorry Jack, but unfortunately I need you at the shop."
"Don't worry, dad I don't mind. Honestly I'm glad to help."
My father gave me a smile That had a hint if regret and sorrow behind it. My mother placed my plate in front of me, it was potatoes and ham. I looked up at my mother and smiled at her.
"Thank you mom," I said as she sat down.
"Your welcome, dear."
❄
After breakfast, me and dad got ready to go to work. I put my brown cape/hood on, tying it in front of my collar bone, then I slipped my shoes on, the brown leather looking nice and clean. We hugged Jill and mother goodbye and we walked out the door.
"Henry, don't you dare let our son get burnt, you hear me?" My mother yelled as we walked out of the yard.
My dad turned around and looked at her, "I give no promises."
"That's not funny Henry Meyer!" My mom said scolding my dad.
"Ha ha ha ha, love you," my dad said with a wide smile on his face.
My mom grinned at him, "love you too."
Then we walked off into the streets of our little rugged town. We stopped at Old man Wilikers shop, dad wanted to go inside and see what he had to sell. Old man Wilikers shop had everything, clothes, shoes, pots, food, the whole nine yards. I told dad I wanted to stay outside, so I could avoid Mr.Wilikers old talk about how much I've grown. Every time I go in he always greets me with, "Oh look how much you've grown" even when I had only saw him last week. So I decided to stay outside, in the middle of the main square we had in the town. I was just standing when three kids ran passed me, their voices filled with laughter, I watched as they looked over their shoulders looking for the thing they were running from or who they were running from.
"Hey, guys wait u-" the boy yelled before he pumped into me.
"You alright kid?" I asked as the boy took a step back and when I saw him my eyes went wide.
The boy looked about 12, Jill's age. He had short brown hair and brown eyes, my eyes widen at the similarity the boy had to someone I knew.
"J-" I covered my hand with my mouth.
Was I just about to say "Jamie"?! I don't even know anyone named Jamie, heck I didn't even know any kids except Jill and all her friends. And yet, this boy reminds me of someone I know or someone I should know. I don't know why, but I have this feeling, a feeling that I'm missing something, that I'm missing something important. Also that I'm missing someone important, someone very, very important.
"Hey are you okay?" The boy said in front if me.
I smiled at him, "I'm fine don't worry about me."
"Jason!"
Me and the boy looked at the person who was screaming the name "Jason". It was a girl she was about my age and she came running towards the little boy. She came running down the side walk to the main square, soon standing by the boy.
"Jason, what did I say about running around town?!" She said grabbing the boy by his ear. By the look of their relationship, I was guessing that this girl was the boy's older sister.
"But Lily, my friends ran off without me. What was I supposed to do!" The boy protested.
I just stood there awkwardly, listening into their conversation, trying my best not to laugh at their sibling quarrel. Just when I was about to burst out into laughter, I notice the girls long brown hair was in the braid. It wasn't the color or length of her hair that made me freeze, it was the braid. My eyes were mesmerized by the strands of her hair weaved into a neat and clean braid.
Elsa.
The name popped into my head like a whisper or a memory. My heart pounded at the name and chills were spreading through my body, up my spine. The name didn't sound familiar what so ever and the holders name drew a blank. I don't remember any girl named Elsa or even met a girl named Elsa. And yet every time I think her name, my heart pounds and chills run through my spine. Why? Who is this person, this girl I haven't even met, what is she to me?
"Hey, are you alright?" The girl said snapping me out of my questioning thinking. I looked at her as she looked at me dumbfounded.
"Y-yeah, I'm alright," I said shaking my head back and forth trying to get rid of my thinking.
She sighed with relief, "good and sorry for my brother."
"No, it's fine. He didn't do anything wrong," I said reassuring her.
"Good, well have a good day. Come on......Jason," her voice went harsh as she said her brothers name.
"Yes, Lily," he said looking down at the ground as he followed his sister. I watched them as they walked to where the other boys had ran. Minutes passed and my dad came out with a bag filled of things that he bought.
"Ready to go Jack?"
I nodded.
"As I'll ever be."
"That's my boy," my dad said placing his hand on my hair ruffling it.
"Hey! Ha ha ha, stop it." I said pushing my dad's hand away.
"Ha ha ha ha, come on. The swords aren't going to fix themselves," he said as we began to walk.
"If only," I said following my dad.
"Ha ha ha ha, if only," he said with a smile on his face.
A smile soon grew on my face as well. As we made our way to the black Smith shop I soon forgot about the names Jamie and Elsa, my mind not being occupied by them anymore.

Like my snowflakes "❄" I know you do ;P
Hi guys, I am sorry for such a short update. But there is a reason why it's so short and no, it's not because I was lazy or busy. You see I just wanted this update to introduce you what is happening to Jack and Elsa at this very moment. Elsa doesn't have powers, Jack isn't Jack Frost, they both can't remember each other, etc. So this update is just an introduction on what is happening in the story right now. In the next two chapters I'm going to go into more detail about what is happening to them as they begin to realize that this is not who they really are and that this is not reality. And they're going to get some help, but I'm not telling you who ;x
He he he he he he. *smirks*
Thank you all for reading my book, I really appreciate it. Love you guys.
Read, Comment, Vote, write, remember, don't forget, choose wisely, read Possessive Hearts (please, I'm begging you) and...
I'll see you when the next Storm hits.
