Blizzard's Wish

I wished I died in that lake.

That way I didn't have to spend

an eternity alone.

I wouldn't have to spend years,

centuries, decades of being invisible.

I could've gone to heaven and waited.

Waited for my family.

Jill.

Oh, how I missed her.

I would even considered mother

if she changed.

So yes, I wished I died in that lake.

But...

If I didn't have my immortality.

I wouldn't have saved millions of children's lives.

I wouldn't have defeated someone as bad as Pitch.

I wouldn't have met the guardians.

I wouldn't have met as great of kid as

Jamie.

And I wouldn't have met the most important

person.

Her.

I met her.

The person I can't live without.

Even if I wanted to.

Her long blonde hair and her beautiful

blue eyes.

The queen that can control ice

with a flick of her hand.

Elsa.

The girl I want to spend eternity with.

So is it wrong to wish to be mortal?

When immortality gave me so much.

Is it wrong to wish that Manny didn't

pull me out of that lake?

When I should be grateful for the gift

he has given me.

Is it wrong to wish to die?

It's life.

Right?

She was wrapped in my arms. I did not have any desire to let go of this girl who was in my arms. None at all, my heart pounded as her hands laid on my chest. Wondering if she could feel my rapid beating heart under her hand. Her blue eyes were filled with passion, passion for me. She bit her lip.

"Jack," she said seductively in my ear making chills run down my spine.

I bit my lip, wanting to say her name. But when I opened my mouth, my voice didn't surface and neither did her name. How? How can I forget her name? This girl that I desired, that I was attracted to, addicted to, wanted, needed. How could I forget her name. She wrapped her arms around my neck as her eyes connected with mine.

"Have you already forgotten my name," she said as her head titled to the side with curiosity.

"I......yes, I have," I said with a concern expression on my face.

She smiled, "you don't have be so worry about it, Jack." She said with a hint of laughter in her voice.

"Why?" I asked in confusion.

"Because..." She began. Then she softly stroked her addicting lips against mine, only making me wanting her more.

"...I'll make you remember my name," she said and she began to bring her face closer to mine. My heart began to pound as her nose touch mine. Our breaths became heavy as our lips came closer and closer. Her fingers brushed the bare skin of my neck making me gasp at her touch.

"Jack," she said seductively.

Then slowly and gentle her lips to-

"JACK," my eyes shot open to a hyper and awake Jill that was sitting on my bed.

"Jill," I said as I sat up in bed, breathless from the sudden shock of my named being yelled.

"Morning Jack," she said with a smile on her face.

"Jill what are you doing waking me up like that?" I said with a smile on my face.

"The sky's awake, so I'm awake, which means we have to play."

I looked at her with a blank expression as it fell silent as we stared at each other. Then I suddenly burst out laughing with one of my hands on my stomach.

"Ha ha ha ha ha, hold on there little girl. You know I have work today," I said as I ruffled her hair with my hand. She pouted at hearing the news I had just delivered.

"Do you have to go?"

I smiled, "Sorry Jill, but we can play another day. Kay?"

"Kay," and a wide smile grew on her face.

She then left so I could get ready for work. As I hopped out of bed my mind started to wonder about the dream I just.........Wait...did I even have a dream? I did have a dream, didn't I!? What was it about? I don't know why, but for some reason I can't remember, maybe it was because Jill startled me trying to wake me up? Or maybe it was because it probably didn't matter that much? I do know one thing, I didn't have a nightmare. Because I would definitely remember that, even if I didn't want to.

The morning was as usual as it always was. I got dress, ate breakfast, and left with my father to his work. When we got to work we were surprise to see my father's co-worker Lyle. Lyle was one of the few black smiths that worked with my father. He had brown hair and green eyes, he was younger than my dad but he was definitely older than me. I guess He would have to be in his late 20's or 30's.

"Lyle what are you doing here? I thought you weren't coming to work."

"And why would you think that," Lyle said with laughter in his voice.

"Cause the boss told me to bring Jack."

"Huh?" Lyle leaned to look pass my father so he could see me. I waved at him saying "yep, I'm here". Lyle' s face soon turned from confusion to the "Oh, now I remember" face.

"Oh, that's right," Lyle said looking at my father.

"Lilia couldn't make it today, so we needed someone to work the front desk. You know how to do that? Don't you Jack," Lyle asked as my father moved out of the way so me and Lyle could see eye to eye.

"Yes, I've done it many times. Sir."

"Uh......a ha ha ha ha. What's with the suddenly formality? Just call me Lyle, okay kid?" He said putting his thumb up as he gave me a wink.

I exhaled a quick breath of air as my lips curled up into a smile, "kay."

We set up shop in a hurry as it came close to opening time. Father and Lyle both put on their leather aprons and sharpened and heated up the tools they needed. I got the front desk ready, setting up the order sheet and placing the pen feather in the ink. I made sure I could open up the money box so when customers paid I can just put the money right in. Once I was down making sure the front desk was ready, I walked back to were the black smiths worked.

"Ready?" I asked as I walked into the room.

"Ready," my father said as he wore a determined face.

"Ready," Lyle said wearing my father's expression as well.

"Go open the doors son."

"I will," I said and I walked back to the front room. Unlocking the door, declaring us now open. Father and Lyle already had orders that they got yesterday, from last night, so they got started on those right away. While they were busy in the back, I was in the front being......utterly......bored. Hours passed and no one had came in the door once, I sighed and sat on the chair that Lilia had put behind of the front desk. I crossed my arms in front of my chest as I waited silently in the silent room which was the most boring place in the shop. Seriously, how does Lilia do this job, no one comes-

"Ding," The bell that hanged over the door rang as the door was opened.

My eyes snapped to the door as I soon stood up from the chair. There standing in the door way, was a figure. The figure was covered in a long dark purple cloak that looked all to familiar to me, way to familiar.

"May I help you," I said as the figure walked through the door. The figure looked up and towards me as it walked through the door, letting it slam shut behind it. I was shocked when I was met by the most beautiful blue eyes I had ever seen as the figure came to the front desk.

"Oh, yes..." The figure said in a voice that send chills down my spine. I watched as the figure' s hands went up to it's hood, as it slowly pulled the hood down behind it's- I mean her head. As the hood fell behind her, she pushed the rest of her cloak behind her shoulders, so I could now see her figure. And I have to admit she was extremely cute, but I was surprised at how beautiful she was. Her hair was a pale blonde that almost looked white, it was pulled back in a braid, staying out of her beautiful blue eyes. As I looked at the girl, I couldn't shake the feeling that I knew her, that she was precious to me.

"My father, his sword has a huge crack in it and I was wondering if you could fix it," She said as she pulled a sword out of the sheath that was at the side of her waist. She held the sword out to me, the handle laid in her right hand as part of the blade laid in her left. I gently took the sword at of the girl's hands, the sword looked extremely expensive. The handle was gold with a family crest imprinted on it. The blade gleamed as my eyes followed down the polished piece of metal, my eyes stopped as I soon found the crack that the girl had told me about.

I looked at her and gave her smile, "Yep, I believe we can fix it."

She gave out a sigh of relief, "Great, how long will it take?"

"Hmm......20 or 30 minutes tops," I told her and she gave me a smile and my heart skipped a beat.

"I can wait here then. If you don't mind?"

"No, not at all. I'll just send this to the back and then will get you all paid out."

"Kay," she said.

I walked back to where Lyle and dad were working and I told them about the sword. They said it will be done in 25 minutes. When I walked back, the girl was waiting at the counter, I told her the pay and she gave me the money. I couldn't shake the feeling that I met her before, that she was someone important to me. But she can't be important to me because I just met her, right? I watched as she looked around the shop, looking at the books that we had out here for people to look at while they wait. She was standing there looking down at a book as my eyes scanned her up and down. She was beautiful, utterly beautiful, I couldn't take my eyes off of her. As I looked at her flashes of images went through my mind. Her wrapped in my arms, my hands stroking her long beautiful hair, her hands on my chest, her lips on my lip-. I quickly shook my head getting the images out of my head, what the heck was that! Did I just imagined......but it felt so real......like we've done it before. I looked back at her, but when I looked at her face...she was staring right at me.

"What are you staring at?" She said as she gave me a scolding smile.

Uh oh, busted. I quickly averted my gaze from her as I felt my cheeks go warm. "Uh...uh...nothing," I said feeling totally embarrassed.

"Ha ha ha ha ha," she began to laugh and my cheeks got redder. I looked back at her, at her smiling face and I couldn't help but let a smile spread on my own.

"Hey......do you mind telling me your name."

She stopped laughing and gave me a confused expression, "My name?"

"Yeah, if you don't mind."

She gave me a smile, "Well, people call me Elsa......"

My eyes shot wide, Elsa. Haven't I heard that name......before. She saw my shocked expression and all she could do was smile. She walked forward to the front desk and she placed her hands on the desk, only centimeters away from mine. Her pale pink lips were still curled up in a smile as her blue eyes looked into my brown ones.

"But......" she paused making sure that I was still paying attention.

"......you used to call me "Snowflake"......Jack," she said and chills ran down my spine when she said my name.

"H...how do you know my name?" I asked her stunned.

All she could do was smile before my dad came to the front of the shop, carrying her father's sword in both of his hands.

"Here it is, good as ne-" My father stopped once he looked at Elsa and his eyes widen.

"P-princess!" My father stuttered and he bowed. I looked at my father with a confused expression, princess? I don't see a princess unless...I looked at Elsa and we connected eyes. She gave me a cocky grin as she winked at me.

"Looks like I've been discovered. Please, Stand," She said walking over to my father as he stood up.

"Princess, what honor do we have for this fine visit?" What my father means is, "why are you here?" Just incase none of get what he is saying, but basically he's just saying it in the polite.

"Well, I believe you had just fixed my father's sword. May I have it, I really need to get going," Elsa said politely.

"Oh, of course," my father said handing Elsa her father's sword.

"Thank you," she said as she placed the sword back in it's sheath.

"It was my pleasure," my father responded.

She gave my father a nod and turned to walk out the door. She placed her hood back over her head and she placed her hand on the door, about to push it open. But she stopped and she turned to look at me and a smile soon spread on her face.

"I hope to see you again......Jack," and then she walked out the door, only leaving her last few words stuck in my head.

I looked at my father and he was giving me a look. A look that said, "what happened between you two, you player." Then I gave him my "not amused" face.

"Nothing happened, dad," I said as I went back to my work, putting on an annoyed expression.

"Tell that to the princess," he said as he began to walk back to his station where he worked.

"Don't blame the princess for your perverted mind!" I yelled back at him.

"Who's thinking perverted! You're the one who is thinking perverted thinking that I was-"

"DAD!" I yelled at him as blush soon began to paint my cheeks.

"Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha, that's my son. Ha ha ha ha ha."

All I could do was shake my head in embarrassment.

"...you used to call me "Snowflake"......Jack." Her words echoed in my head.

"S...Snowflake," I whispered her nickname that I "supposingly" gave her. Seeing how it sound. How it felt and......it felt totally natural, it brought on another emotion when I said her nickname. An emotion that made my heart pound strong, an emotion that made me feel like I was flying, that I was on top of the world, just by saying her nickname.

This is strange. I had just met this girl today and she knows my name and she's says I have a nickname for her. And let's not forget that she looked and sounded awfully familiar. But......I don't remember her, but she definitely remembers me. Her face flashed through my mind as her voice rang through my ears, I soon shook my head. Why am I so obsessed with this girl, how did I meet this girl, what is she to...me?

❄ The Next Day ❄

We were in the court yard, me and Jill. She wanted to play with her friends that were in the village so they decided to all meet at the fountain in the court yard and play there. Mother wanted me to watch Jill to make sure she doesn't get into any trouble. I was sitting on a bench in front of Old Wilikers shop, I had a clear view of Jill and the kids as they played in front of the fountain. The court yard was paved in stone bricks as the fountain laid in the middle of the wide ocean of bricks like a deserted island. People were busy this morning, they were walking around shop to shop, doing errands. Hurrying to their jobs not wanting their pay to get docked for being late. Wives were rushing home to finish the morning chores and get lunch ready, husbands kissing their children and wives goodbye before they left for work. Yep, the court yard was as busy and noisy as it always should.

My eyes were scanning the court yard and that's when my eyes caught something or should I say someone familiar. She was standing in an alley way, in between two shops, she was wearing a pair of dark blue knee high boots, black leggings with a turtle neck shirt that at the top was black and when it got to her torso it was blue with a design on it. The purple cloak she had when she came into the shop was draped behind her shoulders, her hood was behind her as her long beautiful pale blonde braid fell onto her back. Her beautiful bright blue eyes were filled with happiness as she watched the children playing in town square. Her addicting and sweet pale lips were in a smile, wait...did I just said her lips were......addicting?! (Don't forget sweet)

What the heck is wrong of me? Why does she make me think this way? I looked back at her, my eyes basking in her beauty. My heart began to pound at her radiant and beautiful smile, why...why does she make me feel this way? Is there something I can't remember, something my brain won't let me see? My eyes can't look away from her, they don't want to look away, I don't want her to leave my sight. Maybe......maybe I should go talk to her, she has to know what I can't remember, what part of my memory is missing and where she fits in to all of this. I got up and began to walk to her, my eyes glancing between her and Jill as I walk. Elsa kept her eyes on the children as they laughed and played, it didn't take me long to get were she was and when I was only a few feet from her I said...

"Elsa," her name tasting sweet as it passed through my lips.

Her eyes followed my voice and when her eyes met mine my heart skipped a beat. She gave me an angelic smile, a smile that I was utterly addicted to. Uh......there goes my heart again, missing it's rhythm as I stood in front of Elsa.

"Good morning, Jack," she said and chills ran down my spine when I heard her voice say my name.

The messengers have been summoned.

They meet their dreamers,...wishers.

Taking the form of who they love most.

In hope to awaken their host.

Memories and names will be unsealed...

with a kiss.

In hope to stop the dark ones' bliss.

The dreamers...wishers...must wake.

Or they will be trapped in their deadly fate.

It's hard to leave...

once you had a taste of what things...

might have been.

But if they stay trapped in their mind.

In eternal sleep.

Who will stop the nightmare.

The messengers know their host...

do not want to leave.

They knew that this place makes them...

free and happy.

But their both living a lie, a dream, a fantasy.

Can they save the thing they love most.

Or will the host...become a ghost.
